Cadie smiled at Grace. "Glad he is well....and I will be here a week. So we should definitely get together!" She stopped smiling when she saw the tow truck. She straightened up and stepped away from the car.
The tow trucked stopped. For a minute nothing happened. Then finally a door opened and out stepped a man. A very good looking man. He looked muscular and gruff. "Cole, they sent you huh?" The guy started toward the car. He spotted Grace. "What are you doing here Reaper?! Get lost!" He snapped and Cadence stepped toward him. She put her hands on her hips and glared at the large mean. "Shut your mouth Cole!" She hissed and stepped toward him. "She is MY friend, and saw me broke down so she stooped to see if she could help. Not that it is any of your damn business! Just get my car ready for transport!" His eyes moved to Cadie and he took a step closer. "Look little girl..." "Look nothing! You damn greasy orge! GET MY CAR TO THE GARAGE!!! I am not playing with YOU!!! I will have the Police out here in a heartbeat. Don't think I won't because you seem to forget I dated the Chief of Police's son for the last two years on and off. All I have to do is make a call!" Cole looked like he wanted to say more but he stalked off. "Grace...head on out. Before you do, put your number in my phone. I have a feeling i will need a drink very soon!" She watched Cole work as she handed Grace her phone. "I have always hated Cole....UGH!"

Grace watched as the truck came to a stop, and out stepped a rather large muscular man. She knew this was not going to end well, and before she could say anything the larger man spoke up, telling her to leave. It wasn't until Cadie stepped in for her that things simmered down a bit. "Just because my brother is the president of the Reapers doesn't mean I have anything to do with them.." She started walking back to her car, before Cadie stopped her and instructed her to add her number into her phone. "I'll be glad to..I can come pick you up around 8?" She took Cadie's phone and put her number in, making sure to send her a text so she would have Cadie's number as well. "I gotta go get changed, I'm tired of being in my scrubs anyways.." She hugged the brunette once more before getting into her car, taking off for her house. Once Grace got home she got a call from her brother. She mentioned that she was going to go out for drinks with Cadie and Dereck insisted that she was not to go out alone, so he and Jackson would be joining her, just because he was not comfortable with Grace going to Orion's bar by herself. It wasn't going to be the best idea, but if they weren't causing any trouble then it shouldn't be a problem, right? A few hours passed which allowed Grace enough time to get dressed. She took a shower, and decided on wearing her red dress. Just as she finished getting ready, she shot a text to Cadie, letting her know that she would be showing up to Orion's bar within like 10 minutes. That was when her brother and Jackson showed up, just letting themselves into her house. "Grace! Are you ready to go?" Dereck rounded the corner, leaning on the doorframe to her bedroom. He didn't look happy about her plans, also because of how Cole had treated Grace earlier, Dereck was a little on edge. "Yeah, but please don't start any problems. The people here already hate me because I'm related to you..." She grabbed her purse and walked past Dereck, heading to her car. Jackson was standing outside, smoking a cigarette. "Damn, you're looking good." Jackson winked at Grace before opening the passenger side door for her to get in. Shortly after Grace got in the car Dereck and Jackson joined them. The ride to the bar was about ten minutes, and when they got there all eyes were already on them. Dereck led Grace and Jackson to a booth in the bar, where he took a seat. "It will be like we aren't even here. Don't worry, have fun." He relaxed into the bar, lighting a cigarette of his own as Grace walked over to the bar, ordering a Jack and coke. Hopefully Cadie would arrive soon so she could get away from her brother and her ex.

The ride to the garage was tense. Cole and Cadence sat in silence, both determined to ignore the other. Once at the garage a pretty young blonde helped Cadie. As she handed over her credit card it was snatched away. "She doesn't pay. That is my sister." He set a set of keys down in front of Cadie. "Cadie Cat, take my Charger." "Give me my card. I can pay. I don't need anything from YOU Orion," "I know you don't Cadie Cat...." "Stop calling me that! That was fine when I was 5!" "So it's Cadie now?" "It's Cadence to you!" "There is that fiery temper Dad found so endearing." She rolled her eyes. "Riiight. Like Dad even cared about me...." "We both know that he loved you. He was over the moon about you." "Right. It's why after my Mom married he stop coming around." "Your Step Dad had a restraining order against my Dad on behalf of you and your Mother. He even coerce my Father into signing away his parental rights so he could adopt you. Dad, wanted a relationship with you. Your a*shole Step Father would not allow it. Your Mother was too afraid to stand up to him." "My Mother wasn't afraid. She was sick of your b*tchy old hag of a Mother coming around starting problems and threatening us! She was tired of being YOUR Father's side piece!" She snatched the keys though she didn't want too. Cadence stormed out and hit the alarm to figure out which car she was taking.
Cadence decided to go stay with her Aunt Celeste since she was so angry. Her Aunt would not pry. Her Aunt spoke honestly and openly with her. Her Mother always responded with "What good does it do us to dwell on the past?"
Cadie talked briefly with her Aunt, avoiding telling her about the agruement she had got into with her Half Brother.
She showered while humming to herself. She was finally starting to relax a bit. She went through her luggage looking for somethng to wear. She finally decided on a dress she had actually just purchased the day before for a date she had cancelled on.She dressed and put on the cute purple short strapless dress and her stiletto heels. She left her hair loose, and did her make up. Taking her time because she had never been good with make up.
She texted Grace once she was in the bar. Cadie forced her way to the bar and ordered a drink. A Long Island Iced Tea. As she took a sip and glanced about the crowded bar she spotted Reapers in a booth. She sashayed over to the two good looking Reapers. "You guys are here with Grace right? No trouble tonight boys. Grace and I just want to have a good time."
"Enjoying my bar?" Asked Rion from beside Cadence. She looked beside her and could not believe he had already spotted her! She was not sure how this was going to play out. Reapers in a bar run by the Angels'. Well by the Prez of the Angels'.

Dereck was not at all pleased with the information his sister gave him. He could care less that Grace was going to be hanging out with Cadie, Orion's little sister. What ticked him off the most was how Cole treated his sister. Ever since Grace moved to Shadow Creek Dereck has been begging her to move to Greensville. He knew that the people over there would treat her differently because of where she came from. He decided that he and Jackson were going to go with her to Orion's bar, just to keep an eye on her. Once he arrived to Grace's house she was ready to go, and it seemed that no amount of convincing would change her mind about going out for drinks. The drive to the bar did not last long, and when he and Jackson walked in with Grace all eyes seemed to fall on them, only for a moment. It was nice, though, nobody had the audacity to speak up to them. Once Grace went to the bar, Dereck turned to Jackson, who had already brought over two beers. "I ******** hate that Grace lives here. Makes me worried about her well-being." He opened the cap on his beer, taking a drink. Grace had already made her way to the bar. "She said she was meeting Cadence, right? I haven't seen her in years. Not since she and Devil were together." Jackson nodded his head, his eyes seemed to be locked on Grace. "Yeah, that's what she said. I don't see Cadence here, though. If she doesn't show should we just take Grace home?" He was now looking at Dereck, with a raised eyebrow. Dereck shook his head, setting his bottle of beer onto the table. "Nah, we will sit here and wait." With that Dereck and Jackson continued to drink. Grace was waiting at the bar for Cadie to show up. It was then that his eyes fell on the petite brunette and her brother, who approached them. "We aren't here to cause trouble, just here to keep an eye on my sister, thats all." He flashed a smile at Cadie before turning to Orion, holding up his beer. "I've seen better bars, but this will do for tonight." He winked at Orion, and motioned for Grace to join them.

Grace seemed to spot Cadie rather quickly, and she walked over to her. Cadie was standing next to Dereck's booth with her brother. "Hey!" She smiled at her friend, and turned to Orion, who did not look the happiest that Dereck and Jackson were at his bar. "This is a nice place! You did good, Orion." She bit her lip and glared at her brother, who seemed to love getting on people's nerves. "Don't listen to him, he didn't need to come with me tonight, he was just being an over-protective a*****e." She took a drink of her Jack and coke, and wrapped her arm around Cadie's shoulders. "Wanna go outside? I always need a smoke when I'm drinking." She raised her eyebrow, leaning against the booth.

"Rion, back off. They are not about to start trouble with Grace here." Cadence turned to glare at her brother, as she placed her hand on his chest. He raised his hands as if surrendering. He tolerated her crap because she was his younger sister, and his Father had been crazy about his illegimate daughter. "Your right. So when Grace is ready to leave, Reapers leave. Truce as long as the Biker Princesses are in here." He stared at the guys, making sure they agreed.
Orion turned and smiled at Grace. "Hey baby. You look nice tonight. Thanks for patching Jasp up. He is doing good. I will leave you guys be now." He disappeared in the crowd. Girls throwing themselves at him. He was a very attractive man, the fact that he had money and was President of the Avenging Angels really only were added bonuses.
"I'm sorry guys. I did not tell him I was meeting Grace. Or even that I was coming here. He is lending me his car. He probably has someone looking out for it. He is so annoying!" Cadie squeezed herself in the booth beside Jackson. She flashed him a flirty little smile.
She stood up, and grabbed her bag then smoothed down her dress. She brushed her hair back. The gesture fanned her jasmine based perfume. "Yeah, let's step outside. I am suddenly burning up." "Sh*t you look hot girl!" She linked her arm through Grace's.
Devil frowned around the bar. Where were his friends? They always hung at the bar on a Friday night. He sipped his beer and watched two easy looking girls dance. They were rubbing all over each other and dancing suggestively. He wanted to laugh because they were just trying too hard.
He pulled out his phone and shot Jackson a quick text. "Where the f*ck is evetyone tonight?! This bar is dead!"

Grace felt her cheeks get hot when Orion spoke to her. She had not seen him in a long time and he was looking good. "Thanks. It's my job to help people. if you ever need anything Cadie has my number." She smiled as Orion walked away, and her attention was pulled from him when Cadie looped her arm through Grace's, commenting on how good she looked tonight. "You're the one talking, you look hot." Winking at her friend, she laughed as they went outside, the cool night air feeling so nice on her warm skin. "Your brother is looking good these days..." She reached into her purse, pulling out a cigarette. "You want one?" She offered Cadie the pack before her eyes landed on a familiar figure. Devil was here. Dereck must have invited him. "I don't know if you will be happy about this, or if your brother is going to be happy about this, but Devil is here." She lit her cigarette, turning her back to where Devil was approaching them. That was when Dereck and Jackson joined them outside, and he promptly plucked her cigarette from her lips, telling her that smoking was a bad habit. "Oh, ******** you. I need a shot.." Grace turned to go back into the bar, but stopped and looked over her shoulder at Cadie. "I'll be right back. Don't let them bother you." With that said she made her way back into the bar, taking a seat at the bartop in front of where Orion was working handing out drinks. "Can I get a shot of Jack?" Dereck was really getting on her nerves, and she needed to let loose a little.

Dereck glared at Rion as he walked away. He did not like it one bit how he called Grace 'baby'. He also did not like the fact that Grace patched up one of their boys, that was something she did not tell him about. Before he could say anything to Grace, she and Cadie walked outside, and his phone went off. "Dev is asking why we aren't at the bar. I think it would be fun to invite him here, don't you?" Dereck smiled at Jackson, and replied to Dev's text. We are at Rions bar. Not my idea, Grace wanted to come here to meet with Cadie. Come on out. He set his phone on the table, and brought his beer to his lips. "This will be a fun night, I can just feel it." Dereck knew all too well about Cadie and Devil. They had a history, and it would be fun to see Rion's skin crawl when he caught sight of Devil come to the bar. It didn't take long for Dereck to hear the roar of a motorcycle pull up outside, so he and Jackson stood up from their booth, making their way outside to meet Devil. When he saw Grace with a cigarette in her mouth, he reached up and plucked it away from. "Smoking is a bad habit." He lit the cigarette and grinned, welcoming Devil. "Hey, man! I'm glad you could make it." Grace seemed unpleased with the fact that he took her cigarette, so she excused herself to the bar. Once she left, Dereck turned to Cadie. "You have really grown into your curves." He winked at her, and turned his attention back to Devil.

Cadie didn't smoke cigs. Though on occasion she did smoke something else. Cadence reapplied her lipstick. "I can see why you dated Jackson! She is total eye candy! Boy got hot, out of nowhere! Is it strange hanging with Jackson since you guys have a history?" She glanced back at the bar door. "I wish the boys would just get over it. Two different towns, two different Charters. No big deal!" She glared at this barely clothed biker hoe who was bragging loudly about some bikers she had hooked up with at a party the night before. "Grace, I am so glad we aren't about this life. We got out. We have lives and goals." She crossed her arms over her chest as she stared down one of the other scantily clad women who were trying to stare her down.
This chic didn't know Cadence very well. She did not back down. Not even if she wasn't sure it wasn't a fight she could win. She would fight to the end. She did not scare easy either.
Cadence wasn't surprised Jaxs and Dereck joined them. It made sense since the place was swarming with AA. "Thanks Dereck. So D, you plan on having a good time tonight? Or you just going to be a creeper all night? I think you two should join us on the dance floor, have a few shots with us. Maybe we can all hit a party. I hear there will be a hell of a party over in Juniper Heights. Only a 45 minute ride over!" Cadie playfully bumped her bottom against his crotch. Then smirked back at him. She was gauging his response. She loved to tease. She had dated about 6 guys her entire life and had only been intimate with 2 of them.
Devil hopped on his bike and was gone. He felt weird knowing he was going to Rion's bar. He felt even weirder knowing he was going to see C.J. for the first time since he dumped her over the phone 5 years ago. He wondered ehat she looked liked. Did she still hate him for what he did? What did she know about his life now?
He was at the bar too soon. He saw his brother Reapers and hopped off his bike. He approached and smirked at the girl playfully backing it up on Dereck. He smiled until he saw her face. It was his C.J. Immediately he felt the dam break and the flood of emotions washed over him. He sttod there drowning in his emotions and it was then that she spotted him.
The laughter and happiness that had been radiating from her like the heat of the sun was immediately extinguished. "F*cks this as*h*le doing here?!" She demanded as she whirled around to face the Prez and V.P. "You all need to leave, NOW!" Devil moved toward her and grabbed her upper arm. "C.J...." "NO!" She screamed and ripped her arm away from him. "You don't talk to me!"
He watched her hurry away. She was trembling. From fear or anger he wasn't sure. He watched her jump in the car. "One of you....stop her. She is so upset she might drive herself into a damn wall." His shoulders were tensed. He could feel his muscles knotting up.
He glanced at his brothers. It hit him that C.J. had been backing ut up on the Prez. Jealousy pierced through him and he clenched his fists. "Stay away from her." It was a warning but he realized this was his brother. They had a code. "She is drama man, but if your into that...." He added trying to sound as if he didn't care.
So clearly C.J. still hate him. He could understand why. He had lead her astray then "abandoned" her when things got real. Or at least that is how it appeared. He wished for a long time that her hatred was aimed only at her brother. He was the reason she was sent away after all.
He knew he wasn't to blame though. Or at least not all the blame was Orion's. He had did what he thought was right to save his sister.
Tiberius had loved C.J. with every fiber of his being. He was crushed when they sent her away. He had wanted nothing more then to get at her brother. He had been planning to do so when he had heard from C.J. The news she shared had been joyful and terrifying. He then made the hardest decision of his life. He let her go.
A better wording would be he drove her away. He realized why her brother and intervened in their relationship. He wanted C.J. to do something with her life. She was a very intelligent young woman and was squandering it. She was partying, ditching class, sneaking out and had almost been arrested. All because she was running with him.
He had decided he loved her so much that he had to let her go. Had to keep her away. He had savagely broke her heart, and forced himself to move on. He made sure she knew he moved on too.
Of course he had never told anyone the whole story. The story was much too personal for him to share. It had cost him a piece of his heart, and he is sure a chunk of his soul.
Besides how could he tell anyone what had happened? He had fallen in love with a beautiful young woman who was clearly going places in life. He allowed her to throw her life away. To start making bad decisions so she could be with him. All because he had given up on himself. He had not even cared or more like noticed he was taking her with him.
"I shouldn't be here. I should have known her seeing me would be too painful." He ran a hand through his hair. Something he did when he felt stressed.
Cadence sat in the car crying and wanting to get out and punch him. How dare he! He had no right to be here! No right to touch her! Definitely no right to touch her! She was shaking and felt like she couldn't breathe.
Cole stepped out in front of Grace. For a moment he just stared at her. He pulled out a pack of cigerettes and offered her one. "Peace offering. Look I am sorry about earlier. Just...in action mode. My wife was targeted and roughed up a few days ago. Guys on bikes. She said she heard one of them mention Reapers before she lost consciousness. Up until then, we had kept the women folk and the children out of everything. Then this morning the children's local playground was trashed. Reapers were here tagged on the walls there. When I saw you...I had just come back from visiting my wife. I let that situation get to me and I acted like a d*ck. So I apologize. If I were you though, I would leave. I am not threatening you. Just a heads up. Our boys want action, tired of all the disrespect. Angry about our families and home becoming targets. Sh*t is going to get ugly. You coming here with them, just sent the message your with them. Them strolling in here after everything...Orion's truce is what is holding back the retaliation. You and Cadie leave, it's on." "Cole....we have a problem?" Orion asked from behind the pair. Cole's dark chocolate brown eyes lingered on Grace before he turned to face his leader. "Nah. All is good." He replied and walked off. "Sorry about him. He has a lot on his mind lately...." He stared after Cole. He was unsure of what actions to take. He knew they should fight back, but he was unwilling to let women and children be the ones to suffer. Problem was the others had no qualms about targeting those groups.

Dereck watched the whole scene unfold before him. At first, he was actually kins of pumped to see what kind if response they would get when Devil showed up, now he was feeling a bit bad about it. He patted Devil on the shoulder, walking past him. "You should go. Get the bar ready for us." He approached the car slowly, before leaning against the window where Cadie was sitting. He tapped on the window a few times, waiting for her to roll it down. "You alright?" It wasn't like he cared about her emotions..did he? Glancing back to Devil, he watched as he took off on the motorcycle, heading back to Greensville. His eyes moved to Jackson, and nodded his head towards the bar. Grace was in there by herself, and he didn't like it one bit.

When Cole approached her, Grace almost felt herself shudder. She wasn't sure what he wanted, but he was not very friendly earlier. Before she could ask him why he was blocking her from the bar, he handed her a cigarette, explaining about a few things that had happened. Grace knew almost 100% that her brother and the Reapers would never do such a thing. She knew everything they did, and had they done those things she would have been one of the first to know about it. Despite the fact that she and Jackson broke up, he still updated her on everything, in case she needed to help get Dereck out of trouble. Cole did not allow her to speak, before Orion spoke up and Cole got out of her way. She cleared her throat, walking up to Orion. "Is there somewhere we can talk?" She knew she shouldn't get involved, and that was the whole reason she moved away, but it was her brother. They accusations that Cole told her about were too far fetched for her to want to let slide. Her hand rested on his arm, they needed to go somewhere quiet, away from prying ears.

Cadie opened the window and a small sniffle can be heard. She nodded her head. "I'm....fine...I should have prepared myself...I knew there was the slight possibility I could run into HIM." She bit her lip as she debated telling Jackson the truth. "My reaction seems over the top to you. To everyone I am sure. It honestly, from my point of view wasn't." She shook her head as she decided not to tell Jackson everything. It was none of his business. It was not fair to drag him in the middle of their b.s. "I will be right in....I have to calm down....and fix myself up. If Rion thinks...." She let it trail off knowing he understood. Rion and he may play for different teams, but both men had the same role and the same responsibilities.
Devil felt awful, and frustrated. He understood she didn't want to see him. He even understood why, but that didn't change the fact he wanted to see her! He wanted to try to make things right. Or as right as they could be given the past they shared.
He owed her an apology. He still loved her, and wanted something more. What he wasn't sure. He just knew he wanted her in his life. He turned his bike around. He parked a block away and walked over.
He was determined to talk to her. To say what he had wanted to all these years. He would make her listen to him. He didn't care if it meant he had to hang around town until she left. She would hear him, he would find a way for them to make peace.
He stepped into the bar and sat himself in the booth nearest the door. He would see her from there. He wanted a curvy red headed some money and directed her to go get him a bucket. He might as well have a few drinks while he waited for C.J. to show.
Orion looked at Grace's hand on his arm. Was this a set up? No, he wouldn't use Cadence like that and they weren't even close. There was no way Dereck would use Grace that way. Everyone knew how protective of her he was. Even among their Crew. Besides, Grace was a good person. She stayed out of Club affairs. "We could go to my Office. It is in the back. Long as you feel comfortable with that." He motioned to a narrow dark hallway one would easily miss. It was just pass the pool tables. He glanced at the blonde in front of him.
He was wondering if she was afraid of him. Sure he had never hurt her, or any female for that matter. He knew that he had a reputation though. Plus they were technically rivals. "Your brother and boyfriend aren't going to shoot up the place if he go talk right?" He teased though the normal twinkle of amusement was absent from his green eyes tonight. "Your boyfriend's looking for you." He jerked his head in Jackson's direction."Call me later on, or tomorrow. We can talk then." He took her phone and texted himself from it. All it was was a question mark. He handed her phone back and then removed himself from her company. Departing before Jay really got to her.
Orion did not need that drama tonight. He had so much going on. Cadie's presence here tonight was unwelcome to be honest. He didn't have time to babysit her tonight. Wish is why he had a Prospect doing so. The Prospect was Jasper. Jasper was a good guy. Actually Rion had known Jasper his whole life. The guy had a crush on Cadie when they were like 12. The poor guy use to trail his sister like a lovesick puppy.
He watched as Jasper slipped in the back door. He turned toward the metal stairs tucked away from everything else. He could just make out that Jasper went up the stairs, and was now surveying the scene from above. Perhaps looking for someone. Jasper was perfectly capable of handling himself. Though he was curious where Cadie was if Jasper was in here.

Dereck walked inside the bar with just enough time to see Orion put his number in Grace's phone, and when he walked away from Grace, Dereck walked over to her. "I think it's time to go." He grabbed Grace's arm, to escort her out of the bar. "You always have to ******** interfere. With everything I do...I'm a grown a** adult." She pulled her arm away from him and followed him out of the bar, making sure to stop and hug Cadie before she left. "Sorry girl, Dereck is making me leave. I'm sure I will see you again." Grace hugged Cadie and followed Dereck to the car, where they all got inside and left. On the way back home Grace decided she would text Orion. She needed to let him know the truth before he decided to retaliate against the Reapers, then it would really cause issues. Hey, its Grace. I wanted to talk about what happened with the kids park and Cole's wife. It wasnt the SR. I can promise you that. I know everything they do...please believe me. If you want to talk more you know where I live.Once she sent the message she relaxed into her seat, Dereck remained silent the whole way back to her house. Once they got there Dereck and Jackson got on their bikes and drove back to Greensville, they needed to get some s**t together. Grace changed out of her dress and into a silk nightgown. Hopefully she would be able to persuade Orion that her brother did not do those things, and that the SR were framed.

Cadie hugged Grace tightly. "Don't let their b.s. come between our friendship..." She whispered. She watched as they left. She would text Grace in the morning. It was already late.
She rubbed her arms lightly. It was starting to get a bit cool out. She hurried back into the bar. She barely took half a dozen steps before she was yanked into a booth.
Cadence pretty much fell in. She tried to push herself upright, but two strong rough hands gripped her upper arms and pulled her upright. She wanted to pull away but she couldn't. She found herself face to face with Devil. For a long awkward moment she just stared wide eyed at him. Her heart thumping painfully against her rib cage. His left hand moved up to cup her cheek. His thumb traced a circle lightly against her cheek. For just a second her eyelids fluttered closed.
That was something that he had always done that made her just melt. She realized what she was doing and opened her eyes. She placed her small hands against his chest and shoved him as hard as she could. He was surprised and actually did move away. "Don't run! You run, I will just find you again!" He reached out and caught her wrist as she stood up. He held onto her as he slid out the booth behind her. He looked down at her. He was 6'3 now. She had stayed at her tiny 5ft all these years. "What do you Tiberius?!" "Too talk. Just to talk." "There is nothing to talk about! He haven't seen each other, or said anything to each other in like 5 years! What can you possibly have to say to me?!" She yelled though her eyes were tearing up. She did not want to cry in front of him. She could not give him that satisfaction. "I just wanted to say!.... I wanted to say I'm sorry C.J." He started out yelling back, but ended it quieter. "I know I hurt you. I know I was wrong. I realized I was screwing your life up. I was going to make a clean break...I didn't know...had I known..." "I told you. You knew." "I knew but it was after I had already made my decision. So I just went through with it because I wanted you to succeed." "No. You wanted to be free to see other girls!" "I admit, I did want that as well. Being in a long distance relationship was hard. That is not why I broke things off with us." Cadence looked away, unable to hold her tears back anymore. "You said what you needed too. Now leave. Don't talk to me ever again. No amount of apologizing can ever change what happened." "Cadence...I have just one question. One thing I have to ask....Look at me." He took her chin and turned her to face him. He could see she was crying. "What did you decide to do....?" He asked softly. He was sure he knew but at the same time he had always hoped she hadn't. "What did I do?" She mumbled softly and squeezed her eyes closed. She opened them and he could she the anger and anguish burning in them. "I did the only thing I could do! I had an abortion. My Mother and Step Father refused to let me come home, were threatening to cut off all financial support. My Father could do nothing to help me. My Aunt Celeste was the only one who stood by me. She came to be with me and help me through everything. My Grandmother won't speak to me to this day." She shoved Devil as hard as she could. "You don't get to question my decision! You were long gone!" Devil grabbed her arms as she swung at him. "I'm not judging! I just had to know! C.J., I just had to know!" He pulled her close and wrapped his arms around her. Forcing her arms tight against he chest. He lifted her up and started for the bar door.
Jasper stepped right in front of the door. Blocking their way. He looked Devil right in the eyes. "Put. Her. Down." She squirmed and tried to free herself. Devil squeezed her tighter. "We're talking. It's cool. Just back off." Jasper laughed. "Your in our bar, roughing up the Prez' sister and you think we're just going to back off." Slowly he set her down. She was still crying.
So fast she didn't see, Dev had his gun out and pointed at Jasper. Jasper's was out and pointed at Dev. "Get out of the C.J.!" Devil snarled angrily. "Hey! Hey! No need for guns!" She screamed. She stepped between them, her hands up. "This is my brother's bar. There will be no violence in here." The two men ignored her. "Dev was just going. Jasp, let me walk him out. He won't try anything. I promise you. Dev, Dev...? You stay behind me. Everything is cool here. We're all okay." Jasper slowly inched away from the door. Devil walked toward it slowly.
Slowly he backed out. He only lowered his gun once the door was closed. By now several other Club members had ran over, weapons drawn. Cadence stood in front of the door. Trying to hold the men in. "Stop! Stop! This was not an attack! It was a conversation that got heated!" Cadence was roughly shoved aside. She stumbled, tripped and fell. She yanked her heels off and was out the door after the men.
She jumped on the large man who had pushed her's back. He swung wildly, trying to throw her off. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!" The guy pried her fingers away and tossed her off. Jasper helped her up after she landed on the cement in a crumpled heap. She was definitely scratched up and probably a bit bruised but she was relieved to hear the men say the Reaper got away.
It was about 2am when Orion finally looked at his phone. He had a message from Grace. He was torn between believing her and everything that had happened. He texted Grace back. 'Be around at noon.'
He was so angry, and so frustrated. He wanted to go to they're Club and wage war but Cadence made him promise not too. He swore she had attacked him when he asked to talk to her. He knew there had to be more to the story but he didn't push. He knew better then to try to force Cadie to do or say anything.
He would get to the bottom of things soon enough. For now though he needed to get some sleep. His men were all at the Club House partying it up. They needed to blow off steam anyway.
Devil knocked at Grace's door. He knew it was late, but he needed someone to talk too. First he had to get the Cadence situation off his chest before he went and told the Brothers about the possible war he has just started. "Grace!" He called through the window. "Grace, open up! It's me Dev!" He glanced at his phone to check the time. He should get back to the Club House.

Grace had already caught sight of Orion's text, so she had already settled in bed and was watching a movie when she heard someone pounding on her door. It was quite unusual for anyone to be coming around her at this time, so she grabbed her gun out of her bedside table and opened the door slowly, peeking her head through the crack. When she noticed it was Devil, she swung the door open, letting out a relieved sigh. "Jesus Christ, Dev. You could have called me or sent me a text..." She stepped to the side, allowing the man to come into her house before she closed the door behind him, placing her hands on her hips. "What could you possibly want at this time? It's already past 2 am? Shouldn't you be at the club?" Grace led Devil to the kitchen, and grabbed two waters from her fridge, handing him one.
He was not supposed to be in Shadow Creek, anyways. Especially not without someone to back him up in case things got bad. Grace pulled herself up to sit on the counter, and took a drink of her water. "Let me guess, you are here about Cadie? I heard what happened when she saw you earlier, and I'm sorry." She brushed some hair out of her face, and offered Devil a smile. The least she could do was give him a friendly shoulder to lean on. "You can sleep on the couch if you need to. It's already kind of late, I will let Dereck know that you are here with me...and safe. So, tell me whats on your mind?" Grace grabbed her phone and send a quick text to Dereck. Dev is here with me. He is staying the night. Don'y worry. He will be back tomorrow. Once the text sent she returned her attention to the guy sitting in front of her.
Dereck and Jackson were wondering why Devil wasn't around, and he figured out from a text from Grace that Devil was still in Shadow Creek. "That guy is so caught up in his past, I shouldn't have invited him to Rion's bar.,," Dereck tossed his phone onto the table, taking a seat. "Dont worry, he is staying with Grace so I know she won't let him get into any trouble. Relax, we will talk with him tomorrow." Jackson patted Dereck on the shoulder, before making his way to one of the spare rooms, and going to bed.
