"Let's go!" Kalpana yowled with excitement, giving Cŵn a small nudge with her nose and turning to yip at her pack. The hyenas, apparently, were even more eager than their chirpy 'leader' to feast and took off, running ahead with tongues lolling and ears folded back against their heads.

"They'll beat us for sure!" Kalpana chimed, "there better be something left for us! Can you run and talk?" She jested, taking off after them.

Today was looking bright.
