Someone who couldn't be purified...couldn't change sides. Why didn't they do it to everyone then? Surely it would keep every member on their side that way, since they couldn't purify. Could they not do it for reason though? Surely it had to have crossed someones mind. There was no way to always know who was disloyal and preparing to leave. If you could preemptively ensure no one could leave...why not do it? The fact they hadn't just up and made every officer part youma was a good thing though, at least for their side. "Why not make everyone part youma? Can't ever leave then...can't know who might leave in future...so make sure they can't."
Was that any better? Did that make things worse? Killing a youma over and over again? Could that perhaps be, in part maybe, why the human was gone? Why nothing was left of the human that had once been? Or was dying over and over again irrelevant to the loss of humanity? Was there any impact had by the youma for all the times some must have been killed. "Only royals can...do they get reborn? They were once people...will they ever be again?" Would they get that chance to live a peaceful, and full, life? Without being a monster? Without being involved in a war...without suffering more than any other person did by simply living - because living was to suffer. He had to know, he needed to understand more and learn more...he needed to know so he could better make his own choices.
"Hope so....hope they can be helped. Living is to suffer but not so much. More than any person should...and longer." He answered calmly. He hoped a solution would be found, something in this life time...a way to end possible suffering and a way to help those in need.
"This war...is not so simple. War of countries is easier than this."

She shrugged. "Why doesn't the code transcend all of us?" She mused mostly to herself. "But still it is a good question, if I were to guess maybe the process is too draining or dangerous or perhaps there is some major drawback that I don't know about." She theorized, though it was impossible to know without being in the Negaverse itself.
"You mean when a Royal final dusts them? I'm afraid I don't know you would have to ask a royal themselves, all I know is that it ends the cycle of reforming in the rift. I honestly don't know, this war has been going on for a while without anyone finding a cure for youmafication but at the same time personally I have to hold out hope. I lost a good friend to youmafication, an officer tried to turn him into a lieutenant but lost control of his chaos and ended up turning him into a monster instead, I made a promise to him a promise that I would free him." She said looking up at the stars. "No matter how long it takes I intend to keep my promise."
"War is never easy but when you include the kind of celestial powers we have in this war it becomes infinitely more difficult to grasp. But it isn't all bad, we've been given a unique position, a chance to do great things to save people and make a real difference in the war. I truly believe that." She said taking a breath. "I formed a group for that, we call ourselves the Heralds of Peace."

"Yes, when royals kill them...wonder if they are reborn...so long not being reborn and then to never be again..." Perhaps that wasn't so bad? To end the suffering of the soul so it didn't somehow carry on into the next life...if it could? Surely being a youma so long had to stick to the soul a little bit - in some way...right? Maybe not. It was all things he didn't know and doubted anyone really had answers to. But they were all things he wanted to know...he didn't like not knowing because he didn't know how to properly feel about things. But he had to accept, and he mostly did, that he couldn't know everything and his decisions and opinions would be skewed based on what he knew rather than what was true.
"Maybe a cure..can be found. Would help in finding one is possible." It would be something he would help in if a cure was found. The idea of being trapped like that, of losing everything even your humanity, it bothered him deeply. But where to start? Perhaps with the royals...maybe it was something they could do but didn't know? "Could royals do it...cure them...maybe with help? Or something more...? More power...more than just purifying a person of chaos...?" He wondered, wondering if the idea Kairatos had of giving energy to royals could boost there power and allow for such a cure.
"No rules or laws in this war...science is not here...and have to think outside of the box." He said nodding his head in agreeance. This was not a normal fight, it was difficult to grasp at things.
"Joined with other knights of Ganymede...leader is saved from the Negaverse...two of them are."
