"I am sorry, sir." Anastasia apologized yet again, keeping her eyes closed as she continued to look for the filter she needed. Finding one, she looked over it thoroughly, but decided to look further. She wanted to make sure that the filter she was going to install would at least work. It could even be a base one and she could modify it herself. Letting out a quiet sigh, she ended up just scrapping the search, deciding to at least try harder to keep her mouth shut.

Paige was smiling wide when she saw Michael, looking more than excited, #Hi father!# she signed quickly, her signing having gotten more fluid, faster, and less letter-by-letter and more full hand movements. #I would love that, it seems like it would be fun.# the small girl looked absolutely overjoyed to just be talking to Michael. #Have you been getting the paper stars I've been sending?#

Michael took a sip from his favorite mug that Paige had sent him and then slowly looked up above his desk. "Well baby girl...did you want to see them in person and where I put them?" He questioned, pushing up his glasses with his free hands. He closed his eyes for a moment, opening them to count everyone and to make sure everyone was within frame before activating his powers. [Teleportation, Total Recall
Michael would teleport them into the room, to stand just beside his work table, and out of harms way of any of his experimental things that were going on, including the man behind the curtain who was still being monitored until Moira was ready to come collect him. She'd just claimed Arno from the wild again...? Or something like that. He turned in his chair waiting patiently. The stars that Paige had been sending him had all been strung across the wall above his desk, each one being added to the chain as they had arrived. The laboratory was spacious, counters sanitized and that hospital smell very prevalent. There was the soft beep of a monitoring machine in the background, and the hum of computers and televisions. The full display of the cameras were up in a corner, whilst his work and laptop were behind him on his work desk. Blueprints and charts lined the walls and every thing in the room seemed to have it's place.
Delilah was pleased to see Paige and Michael's interactions, reminding her of their common goals to protect that brought them even closer together despite the recent distance. Delilah opted to stay quiet as they spoke, her expression clear in her happiness for once. Then they were teleported without warning over the call and the sudden realization of information the pieced together to paint an eloquent picture of secrets she had been blind to before. Her eyes widening slightly at the situation, having to adjust to the abrupt change of scenery and the cold fact of what this use of power implied. In any other situation, she would have outright asked Michael about it, but now was not the time or place.
Kioko blinked in surprise as they were all teleported into the scenery that was scene displayed on the computer screen. There were now a lot more people in this one room and even more emotions than she had experienced at once, still having been latched to the emotions in the room, it caused a slight surge and took in a shaky breath and fell down, almost fainting completely. She was quickly trying to sort through all the emotions she could feel, the present ones already in such a vast range it was almost painful to understand them all at once. Even Benoni was silent, knowing he wasn't handling any of this well either. She groaned slightly, trying her best to push herself back up but having difficulty.

The world suddenly shifted around Ripley, standing upright at attention as the nausea before located in their stomach spread throughout their body, face dropping any attempt at a smile in favor for wide-eyed terror. Then the world returned, and they were located in a dark lab, a man in a labcoat they vaguely recognized as "Michael" in front of them, a woman in the corner visibly connected to lab equipment.
They stared at the unknown girl for just a moment, first anger then terror flashing on their face, before the nausea overtook them. They ran. Making it out the door and around the door frame, just out of view of the children, before the contents of their stomach demanded release. Falling to their knees and heaving - the glamour mixed foodstuff spilled onto the cold, unknown ground. They curled up, clutching around their own legs, resting forehead against their knees and started openly sobbing.

Having fallen completely silent as she just let Michael interact, Anastasia looked up as the group of people suddenly appeared in the room - her own heart rate and emotions spiking hard when she watched the reactions. One of the children fainted almost immediately, another - older? - person bolted out of the door and got sick, which she could tell from the view of the camera just outside the door. Grimacing, she closed her eyes for a moment, trying to collect her own thoughts.
The teleportation not phasing her at all, as she had her own means of doing so in a sense, Paige was about to quickly bound over to Michael when Kioko collapsed and Ripley went running. Looking around, eyes wide in concern and worry, she stood there for a moment, hesitating, before running after Ripley. She would have helped Kioko, but she had figured that Delilah or Michael could help her. Making her way over, slowly, to place one of her small hands on Ripley's back.
Watching the small child, the toddler, run off after the other nearly as small person, Anastasia took in a breath as a sudden surge of memories took over her. Closing her eyes, hands snaking up to press against either side of her head, she took in a shaky breath as memories started to replay in her head. Memories, not videos, of what she had seen, what she had done, what they had to do to not die. Slowly bringing her knees to her chest, resting her heels on the edge of the chair, the cyborg opened her eyes and had an image of Paige overlaid in her mind. If she could cry, she would be.
'N-no, it can't be her - they said... I thought - why would...did they just... put her back together?' Anastasia thought to herself, her mind racing before she moved her hands to cover her face, trying to get herself to calm down. Taking in another couple shaky breaths, she pushed everything she could down into her core, but left a single message on Michael's laptop, reading I remember something about the little girl. Not a video, but memories. I wish to speak to you about them later.

Michael took in a deep breath and closed his eyes, leaning back in his chair and rubbing his temples. People were such fragile and weird things. So many reactions and emotions to just a simple teleportation. He turned to look at his computer, eyeing the message and closing it down and then getting to his feet. "Well...This is rather interesting....I suppose I was expecting everyone to be a lot more...excited for the chance to be here. But I see that everyone has their own reactions to it all. "
He ruffled out his lab-coat and picked up his mug, taking another sip and simply waiting to see what was going on in the room. His eyes followed Paige and then rolled across to focus on Delilah, trying to get a read on her reaction to the whole thing. He was quite aware that she would probably ask about the ability to teleport people pretty much against their will. That would be a can of worms he'd need to keep the lid on. Many kingdoms were built on lies. It was better that she didn't know the truth. He had much better things to do than fret over which inconvenience took the fall for what.
Delilah frowned slightly as everyone involved appeared to be under some type of distress about what had just happened. Her eyes went cold as she assessed what needed to be done. Xeixii appeared fine, Michael's 'assistant' was curled up panicking in her chair, Riply was evacuating their stomach in the hall as Paige ran to comfort them, which left Michael who appear to be only annoyed and the Kioko. She made quick work of putting her hair up into a messy bun in mere seconds then helped Kioko to a sitting position on the floor for now. "P-please try to f-focus on j-just your own e-emotions for now... until th-things are s-sorted." she instructed calmly then turned to look at Anna then to Michael. #This wasn't what I expect either, but I suppose it will be fine once things calm down.# she signed with a slightly blank face that put the priority of the situation over everything else. Checking Kioko one more time, she then moved toward Paige and Riply, a little uncertain if she could empathetically help a panic attack.
Kioko was helped into a sitting position and just took deep breaths, nodding at the instruction to focus on her own emotions for now. It took her a few moments to remember how but slowly she was able to shut out all the overflowing feelings that had accumulated into the room and only focused on her own. Curiosity was all she found as she slowly became calm and looked to Michael and around to everyone.
'This was a mistake, you should have stayed with Daemin. At least he would have-..'
"...shhhhh..." she hushed herself quietly then slowly came to a stand and looked at Michael, not sure what to say.

Ripley's shoulders heaved with small gasps for air between heavy sobs. Feeling the small hand touch their back - their back and shoulders tensed up, they didn't want to be seen like this, especially not by Paige. They choked back another sob, closing their eyes and shaking, burying face harder against their knees. Feeling the heat of their insides churning and tears freely rolling down their cheeks.
(( CW: Gore, Torture, Blood, Body Horror ))
Then Paige was gone, and men in labcoats surrounded them. They put up their arms to hide themselves but they were restrained by thick leather straps on a steel table with bright lights overhead obfuscating details of the room, it felt surreal how bright the lights were. They tried to scream but found themselves unable, something in their mouth had a vividly sweet taste. The men approached them with scalpels and cut through and peeled off pieces of their porcelain skin, dark red oozing from the wounds scented like pomegranate. First a little was removed, a small section on their wrist, then with the speed and efficiency of a well-fueled machine with the familiarity that came from experience they worked up their arm and onto their chest. Ripley didn't feel the sting of the cut or peel but they vividly felt the heat of the light or the cold of the table on their exposed dermis. It felt sick, it felt wrong, and they were powerless to stop them. They tried to scream again, cry out to stop, cry out for help only then realizing their throat had been cut, as their thick syrup like blood filled their mouth.
Ripley screamed into their knees, and once they realized they had screamed they kept screaming, screaming until they no longer had breath in their lungs to scream with. With almost a sense of relief they took a heavy, sobbing breath and tried to scream again, but their voice felt raw, a raspy sound replacing the sharp pitch it had before. Their arms were back on their knees, Paige was here again. They curled themselves back up, hugging around themselves, they weren't sure what they just experienced but they were glad to be here instead of wherever there was. They rested their forehead on their knees, unburying their face from them, and took slow, but shallow, shaking breaths.

Sliding her legs off the seat of the chair, managing to shut out her negative emotions for the time being, nearly having gotten an emotional overload from the sudden surge of memories. Standing up, Anastasia bowed towards Delilah, "Shall I prepare some more rooms for everyone?" she asked before standing up fully, "I can get the rooms set up fairly quickly." she was still connected to the DNI, the network of cords and cables that attached to her neck, that alone making her look more like a piece of machinery than a living being, but she herself didn't seem phased by it. "I can also contact Kate to ask for food to be prepared as well."
Moira had been making her way to Michael's lab to begin with, having been planning on picking up Vic once she had rested enough to not feel so exceptionally sore, tired, or sick from saving Arno. Though as she heard the screams, she started running towards the lab, skidding to a stop when she saw the small one that she knew of as Paige, and someone new. Kneeling down, avoiding the puddle of sick on the floor, she looked to Paige. "Hey, whats wrong?" she asked quietly.
Paige looked absolutely horrified when Ripley started screaming, but she struggled to keep herself there for her big sister. Her tiny frame shaking in both fear and worry, she continued to have her tiny hands on the others back, rubbing their back gently. Though, looking up as she heard someone approaching, her eyes went wide - the one person she knew could deal with almost everything. #Moira! I think they are in pain, I do not know what to do...# Paige signed quickly, not wanting to keep her hands off of Ripley's back or too long.

"What I wouldn't give for sedative gas right now..." Michael muttered to himself, one hand going into his pocket, the other still firmly grasping the mug. He turned to look at Ana when she spoke up. "Yes, please do both of those. That would alleviate some of my irritation at this entire situation. Also, see if you can pull any files on the one that ran into the hall. Be it vertigo, or some horrible lingering past of people in lab coats...." He paused for a moment, drawing everything together and sighed, putting down the mug and removing his lab coat down to a normal t-shirt and his white pants. His black shoes clicked softly on the floor, trying to make as little noise as possible, and then he heard Moira.
"I couldn't give you a detailed report if I tried." Michael carried a worn out look of exhaustion and disdain. "If you are here to pick up Vic, which I imagine you would be, please go ahead and remove him while everyone is distracted. I'd hate for anyone here to think I'm the one responsible for his current condition. "
Delilah was worried about Riply but hadn't expected Moira to enter into the fray of the scene playing out. She frowned and looked away, stepping out of the way before moving toward Riply and Paige in the hallway, crouching down. "Hey.. D-do you want to m-move to another r-room that looks m-more like a n-normal room? You d-don't have to s-stay here if it m-makes you uncomfortable. J-just know there is n-nothing to be a-afraid of here, you are s-safe. I am h-here, and P-paige is here. Your whole f-family is here and w-we will protect you f-from anything you f-feel unsafe from." she took audible slow breaths, "Try to f-focus on breathing if you are a-able to, d-deep breaths." she spoke calmly, keeping her voice soft and as empathetic as she could manage. She held inhaled for four second then exhaled while counting four second calmly, giving them an example to go off of if it would help and give them something to focus on. She would have rub their back but was afraid of her powers affecting them and Paige was already doing just that, so Delilah just let Paige handle that.
Kioko stared at Michael then tensed up as Riply began screaming. Her eyes darted to the doorway that led to the hallway and only saw Moira standing there. The small girl looked unsure and maybe a little confused, holding tightly to her parasol as she stared up at Moira far taller than she'd ever seen anyone. Looking between Moira and Michael, she spoke. "Is Riply going to be okay?" she asked suddenly then looked to Moira only, "How did you get that big?" Her eyes blinking in curiosity even if her face stayed somewhere between a look of worry and uncertainty.

Ripley listened to Delilahs voice, using it as a point of focus and putting their trust in her, they slowed their breath and allowed the nausea and tension to wash over them. Mimicking her breathing, Ripley attempted to take slow, deep breaths but could taste something like raspberries in the air. The phantom taste made it hard to ignore the inhuman nature of their joints, the hardness and coolness of their skin, and the sensation of it pounded onto their senses. They turned their focus on the hand on their back, slowly rubbing the fabric they were wearing into it. Someone who cared about them was there, they tried to narrow their sensations onto that.
Slowly, Ripley stood up, joints cracking as they put weight onto them again. They never looked up, instead just silently taking Paige's hand and turning attention onto feet they recognized as attached to Delilah's. In the corner of their attention they saw the puddle of sick, the glamour slowly evaporating now exposed to open air, remembering that was their doing they muttered a small, barely audible "S.Sorry" to the pair of feet they didn't recognize, before asking "please take me somewhere." to the feet they did.

Bowing again, Anastasia settled back down into her chair, now happy that she was of use, and happy that she had decided to stay overtime for the day. Leaning back against the chair, she closed her eyes before her body seemed to go limp - her breathing calm and steady, but low - as she dove into the entire base. Having to collect her thoughts for a moment, she set part of her mind to finding and organizing the rooms that they could give to those who had arrived - as well as double checking the accessibility for the one in the wheelchair - and then contacting Kate about several new people having arrived via...teleportation? Five new people. Five, five new people that they needed to account for. One of them a toddler, another a child, another in a wheelchair. This would take some changing of the way the base was set up.
Looking to Michael, she nodded and started to heard towards where she knew Vic was, passing by the scientist, she looked down at him. "Do you want me to show them to like, the diningroom or something?" she asked before she passed the curtain, where some rustling could be heard. After a couple moments, she re-appeared after that with Vic pretty much just slung over her shoulder, where the legless Cambion just clung to her, trying to hide from the sudden mass of people in the room. "It's alright, sweetie. I'll get you back to our room soon.." she whispered to him, smiling softly, trying to get him to calm down a bit, though when she heard Kioko, she laughed a bit. "Well, I'm not sure myself, kiddo."
Smiling a bit as Ripley took their hand, Paige looked up to her before leaning against her leg gently. It was quite obvious the small girl was worried, even scared, for the still life. She did think of Ripley as her big sister, and was a little saddened by the fact that they really couldn't do much to help them. Looking around the immediate area, she realized it was getting a little cramped and gently pulled on Ripley's hand to try and lead her of to where she vaguely remembered going to for food.

Delilah kept ready to help Riply stand if they needed it. She was about to turn to ask Moira to help them find a more normal room since Michael didn't seem to be responding at the moment, likely too stressed out and annoyed by the discord of everything, but Paige began to move and Delilah followed along with them. "I-it's okay... W-we are going s-someplace else..." she assured calmly as she trusted Paige to know where to go since she, herself, had not been to this base before. "Y-you're doing g-great.."
Looking around, it appeared that Delilah and Paige had things under control with Riply and she was very curious about where they had been transported to. "I lived in a place like this. Hmm.. yes. Benoni and I definitely are very familiar with places like this." she spoke with a very collected tone that made her sound very mature in her nature despite the pitch of her voice. Kioko looked up to Moira, "Did you wake up and suddenly discovered you were that big?" she questioned, unsure what Moira had meant by that she didn't know how she had become that large. that just didn't make sense.
Once the changes to the base were made, she sent a little notification to Michael's laptop to tell him which rooms were available and ready to be used, and once she sent Kate a message that there were five new people in the base and that most of them now seemed to be heading to the kitchen, Anastasia withdrew herself from the base and fell back into the network. Her body's breathing slowed down even further as she went deeper into the net, her mind floating through the vast network before at least locating the well-secured area that most of the Haven files she had poked at had been located before. Working her way in with base access, she started to slowly work through the files, sorting, searching, and trying to find what she needed [Data Jacking & Dive - 23 - Fail] but she kept running into the red and annoying access denied screens.
Moira laughed a bit, motioning with her head for Kioko to follow her and the others as the room that she shared with Vic and Arno was along the way to the kitchen - why wouldn't it be? She and Arno were the two who consumed the most food to begin with. "Well, I was about a foot shorter than I am now about twenty years ago, but when my brother found me recently, I had ended up being taller somehow. Though, I think I am taller than most of my siblings, so it might have to just do with what I was given." she chuckled, keeping her arm secure around her Husband, who was just clinging to her and still looking quite upset at the amount of people around. Deciding to take the lead, shuffling past everyone and moving to the front, Moira lead them through the hallways
As she slowly made her way through the hallways, allowing her cousin to take the lead as Paige had some vague memory of how to get to the kitchen, she was more than willing to let someone who had actually been living in the base to take the lead. Slowly moving her head from side to side, she seemed to be singing a song in her head yet again, a small smile on her lips.
