[ Temperance: 25/25 in search of things] Thoroughly chagrined, Temperance took the time to look at Pax's outfit carefully. She really, really wanted to touch the antlers, but looking was just as good. A nice set of heels, she decided, would change how Pax was standing just a bit, and angle everything. Nodding she, headed off to the stairs, intending to find a bedroom and ... what? Steal them? She... she couldn't do that!

Temperance frowned and looked around. She really, really couldn't just steal something cute from someone else! A thought dawning, she figured the lace rose that rested on the shoulder of her dress. It was red, a deep red that matched the rest of her dress, but perhaps it'd be a nice contrast to the deer's muted colors. She gave the lace a sharp tug. Five minutes later, Temperance had to concede that the lace was not easily detachable without both scissors and ******** up the entire shoulder of her own dress. Sighing, she ran her fingers through her hair, forgetting about the barrette she wore. A pale pink and mute blue, it clashed horribly - it was just a... good luck charm. But she had others, it would be fine. With jerky movements, she unclipped it from her hair and offered it to Pax. "If you want, I can put it in for you?"

Pax smiles at the necklace and adds it to their collection of bling. "It is lovely," it pronounces. "So here is the secret. I will not be helping anyone choose hte tithes. I am not involved at all. I represent Our Heliodora, and that is all."

Marcus LaCroix 25/25 still awkwardHe was back. Sort off. He'd not really left the party just the general vicinity and he'd been trying to avoid the being that he'd just sort of.. Given alcohol and then fled from like he had been exposed to the plague. God, he hated social engagements. Well, less hate and just had distinct apprehension about them. Still, he did his best to try and mull over his awkwardness and find something nice for Pax. It took a bit of asking around, but eventually, he returned with a single gold chain necklace. It was not too opulent, and the thin chain was designed to be delicate. It would match nicely with the flowing dress they wore. "Sorry about before. I um. Well. I am not very good at parties." Or things in general.

"Thank you," says Pax, smiling at Marcus. "It is alright. I am not very good at parties either." Somehow, Pax made its collection of necklaces look delicately disheveled, sweetly intentional. "The spinel lady is excellent at parties. She will be the one who ends the ball tonight."

jeremiah mercer || 27/27 || getting eaten It was going well. Jeremiah had found a necklace that would perfectly compliment Pax's ensemble. Minus the part that it was, apparently, in the maw of a being eating plant. Scratch that. Being and people eating plant. At this rate he was learning, quite well, have to magic his clothing back into shape. Minus the part where he was more glittery each time.

jeremiah mercer || 27/27 || a story for pax A pair of heels would would go well with Pax's outfit, Jeremiah was sure, and the best pair were on an otherbeing in a bright pink suit. Except that he had not, at all, anticipated that they would be so chatty. Or that one of the water sprites from earlier would have found him chatting with the otherbeing trying to get her heels. The detective showed back up at Pax, completely drenched and sparkling with those glittering jewels that had been on the sprite. Which of course meant he was telling Pax the entire story about how he ended up charming an entire room of water sprites into doing an electric slide and how that lead to here.
