He placed a hand on her shoulder. "Hey it's alright, mends can be healed with the right amount of time and love." he encouraged with a smile. "You'll find a Human that'll love you for who you are and grant your desires. I think when Humans see Monsters and Humans in love and having children then maybe they'll see that your people aren't so scary."

Thomas blushed a little, her large eye was so easy to get lost in. It sparkled in the sunlight and fit perfectly upon her adorable face. She was curious about his job and he smiled. Standing up he offered one of his to help her up. "Sure let's get something to eat. I can cook, believe me it's a good skill to have on the road, but we can go to a restaurant." he happily spoke.

It always made him feel happy when someone was interested in his work. "Well put it simply, I trade goods from one town to another. Like say this town has a specialty of rice, I buy it for a good price and stock up, then I take that rice to another trading post in another town or city and sell it. That way one city has rice where their fields can't grow well, and in return I keep a bit of the gold I make along with buy say, animal fur rugs as their specialty! I want to extend it to Monsters. Set up trading posts in their town so that they can have rice too, and people can have fun crafts and good from your people as well. That way bonds are built and eventually people and monsters come together." he explained with a blush.

"Or well that's my dream anyway. I've been saved by Monsters during my travels so I know you all aren't mean. Heck I even have a few Monsters as friends! We may be different on the outside but we still bleed and have hearts and souls right?" blushing he shyly glanced away.

"A-Anyway enough about me, tell me about you? We can get to know each other over lunch! How does that sound?" he asked as his soft brown eyes stared deeply into her large ruby eye. Thomas wanted to become her friend, there was something about her that seemed so interesting. He had forgotten she was looking for a mate.

Magic? "Oh yes I do actually! Humans use magic too, so on top of regular goods I've also got magical items, like scrolls, potions, even staves and stuff. A trader trades what is needed! No matter what it is." he happily spoke thrilled that someone else was so interested in his job!

Though from the way she spoke it sounded like she wanted to come with him. Blushing he stared long at her shyly, then came the questions that would be personal for most Humans. Thomas stared into her blushing face and found himself drawn to her.

When she apologized he shook his head and smiled shyly at her. "N-No you're not. It's good to be honest, after all you're here to find a mate and probably get pregnant, and have offspring." his heart skipped a beat a little. Why was she suddenly so attractive? Shouldn't he be revolted by the fact she only had one eye?

No, Thomas was looking past that, he read her mannerisms and her face. It was a skill he had picked up while doing his job so he could tell who was lying and who wasn't. He was probably the only Human that hadn't avoided or run away from her, yet could he do it?

Have sex and then live with the consequences of having Cyclops children? Sure he had thought about it, some of the Monster women were alluring. Seeing that most Human women never paid him time of day. Yet here was a woman who was interested in his profession, and who knows, maybe even himself. It was touching, and her single eye was kind of cute.

Closing his eyes he mentally nodded to himself and stepped closer to her. She was still sitting so he bent down and cupped her face. Staring deep into her eye, getting her full attention, his blush darkened. "N-No I have not, but I've thought about it. We barely know each other b-but tell you what. I-I'll be your mate. Only if you travel with me and stay by my side. The road is so lonely and it would be nice..nice to have someone to share it with." he softly spoke to her. Then placed a finger to her soft lips.

"Before you ask, this is what I want to do. You're the first woman I've met who's been interested in my profession. How about we exchange if you're uncomfortable still. You help me with my trade routes and I'll keep you barefoot and pregnant, filling your life with children and love. I wouldn't mind having sex with a monster. I...I can trust you right?" he glanced away shyly now, this was the first time he had ever been so bold. Hopefully she wasn't overwhelmed.

Pulling away he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly as he noticed a few people staring at them. It didn't matter, he didn't care. After gathering supplies from this town he was also going to look for a mate himself, putting it in her terms. "Sorry I hope that didn't make you feel uncomfortable either." he spoke giving her a shy and cute look. Wondering what she was thinking or was going to do.

He smiled at her joke, chuckling a little. She was so corny, it was adorable. A few of the townsfolk had come to stare at them, well mostly at the Cyclops.

"Ew! Is that Monster trying to seduce that man?" one teenage woman stated with disgust.

"We should probably do something before he becomes her lunch!" an old man grumbled.

Thomas glanced around giving them all a sympathetic look. If this continued on then there could be trouble. "Did she just say she was going to eat him!? Quick we need to get the guards! I knew this Cyclops was trouble when I saw it enter our town!" cried a man.

Glancing back to the Cyclops, Thomas had to think of something. Pulling her close he gave her a "Trust me" glance. Closing his eyes he pressed his lips to hers and gave her a sweet kiss, blushing a bit before pulling away hearing the gasping of the crowd. "Oh honey you're so silly! Teasing me like that!" he chuckled as he pulled away. Turning around he stood protectively in front of her and smiled at the crowd. "I apologize if my girlfriend has caused you any strife. I sent her ahead to scout out the village. Cyclops have wonderful eyesight, and I wouldn't make her too mad because she's got powerful magic! She's my lover and partner, so please no staring!" he spoke in a protective manner growing a bit serious.

It wasn't fair to her, and thanks to that little act the crowd began to dessipate. "Ew! He kissed her! I don't know what's more weirder the Cyclops or the Trader!" the teenager commented.

"We should inform the Mayor!" the old man grumbled.

"No leave them, they're Traders so they won't be in our town too long!" grumbled the man.

Eventually they were left along standing there in the square. Thomas might have lost his opportunity to sleep in an Inn possibly, but he didn't care. Picking on someone because they were different was horrible. Turning around he gently hugged Monlona. "Are you alright? Sorry I hope I didn't overstep any boundaries. Yet I was afraid they'd try to kill you if I hadn't stepped in." he apologized then smiled. "You've got soft lips by the way. Let's go someone more private to talk. We should find a place to eat and get you away from angry villagers! Oh by the way, you never told me your name?"

Her name was so beautiful. Monlona the terrible? She didn't seem all that terrible, but what was terrible was how she seemed to be feeling. Thomas's heart broke, it would take a while before Humans and Monsters could unite. There was still so much hatred in his people's hearts. Sighing he hugged her softly.

"No I'm sorry, for my people. Monlona don't listen to them. I don't think you've messed up anything. I want to talk to you, I want to get to know you, not because I pity you. Please don't be upset." he cooed softly not realizing she was casting a magic spell of teleportation for them.

For a moment he closed his eyes and cuddled her a bit when she hugged him back. If they went through with this plan people wouldn't understand. Monlona apparently had the same idea as him and followed after her feeling her gloved hand hold his.

When they arrived he fetched for his horse and noticed everything was stocked and ready to go. Thomas had to fetch his horse, because the people were still a bit afraid of her, and attached it to his cart. Hs horse looked at the Cyclops and nuzzled her cheek happily letting out a friendly snort it looked back at Thomas and he smiled. "We've got a new friend traveling with us Spitfire. Treat her with the same respect you treat me ok?" he cooed chuckling when the horse licked his cheek.

It was a shame he wanted to explore this town a bit, but maybe Monlona would know of a better place to get something to eat. Turning to smile at her Thomas took her hand. "Alright I think all of us are ready. How about you pick the spot for dinner? I'm sure you know of a few good places where we can get something to eat."

Both he and Spitfire were surprised when they teleported to a village of Monsters. The inhabitants stared at the Human for a moment upon their arrival, but noticed the Cyclops so they ignored them.

"T-That was amazing!" Thomas exclaimed as he gently gave a tug to Spitfire's reigns. The horse wobbled a bit and then slowly moved to a secluded and safe spot in town. He looked over to Monlona and gave her a look of concern. "Are you alright? That must have taken a lot of your energy! We could find some place to rest a bit if you wanted. Unless using that sort of magic also leaves you with a ravenous appetite? I hear casting magic does that do you sometimes." he chuckled a little smiling at her kindly. Feeling a little shy now that they were finally alone.

He blushed a little now being surrounded by a couple monster girls. A slime girl ate a few bags of rice but it was alright, after a bit of curiosity they went their merry way leaving him with a few kisses. At least he wasn't drug off and treated like a slave.

Spitfire loved the attention and nuzzled against Monlona's cheek. Thomas hopped out of the carriage and smiled at the Cyclops. "Alright let's eat! Is there some place I can leave Spitfire and my goods?" he happily asked.

Nodding he gave Spitfire a re-assuring pat. "Don't worry we'll be back in a while." he cooed to his horse. It snorted and licked his face as it bent down and began to drink out of a water troth.

Thomas took Monlona by the hand and smiled. "Lead the way. Oh and is there anything you'd recommend for me to eat?" he asked as they made their way to the restaurant.
