Reuben sat back a moment. A purpose in mind for joining the program. No, not truly. Oliver seemed highly excited, albeit a bit stressed, about it all, but Reuben had just heard about it, after all. He wasn't entirely sure he'd even want one of these "cool kids". Though having a family one day was always in the back of his mind. It was just something to think about. He wasn't going to be able to have a family conventionally, so it gave him a reason to sit back and think about having that family. Plus, he wasn't getting any younger.
The man mused on it a bit before speaking.
"Well, I've only just heard about it from one other person. I have some pamphlet he gave me at home. But what he was saying to me now makes much more sense after meeting you guys. One day, a family would be nice since I don't really have one."Suddenly, the phone was being thrown over Lorenzo's shoulder to show Reuben the likes he had gotten. Slightly impressed, he spoke up,
"I just may have to do that. A tarot blog there, huh? Hmm. You have quite the following. Maybe when I go on, you'll have to tag me in things so I can see how many of your followers I can steal for my own."The man chuckled a bit, moving a bit forward in his seat. He knew that Calista was waiting for him somewhere here, so he figured he should probably get to her sometime soon. The wrath of Calista was worse than anything else he could imagine, after all.
"Well, my friend did text me and she's finally somewhere here so I should probably get going to look for her," he began, standing up and fiddling with his back pocket to get out his wallet. Pulling out a business card, he held it out to the man with a smile.
"Here, take my card, and if you're ever in need of some herbal remedies, a tarot reading, or metaphysical merchandise give me a call. I'll gladly help out in any way I can. It was very nice to meet you both. Take care and enjoy the rest of the convention."As he turned to leave, he gave one last smile and nod to the pair before disappearing into the crowd.
