It was alright; before the bird could get too far out of reach, Asher reached out and stabbed it as well, rescuing Tara from the terrible creature's clutches. Or so he thought, at least. With that done, he swiped the dagger on his pants and looked around -- it seemed that for now, at least, the mob had thinned, leaving them unaccosted. Maybe they'd scared off any further attacks. "Except her, maybe. What did I say about missing?" Asher HP: 27/50 DMG: 8 Bird HP: -1/100

"No we all did awesome!" Beaulah said with a smile. She was a little worried about the girl and her face but it didn't look horrible, not like anything that would scar. Then again Beaulah was no doctor, though she had played one once. "Maybe you should get that looked at inside?" She suggested to Tara. Looking around she wondered if she could find anything to keep from the pile of birds they had killed. She had heard there were things, but so far found nothing herself. "I'm Beaulah by the way." she said as she looked, figuring now was the best time to introduce herself.

"Zan. And that's Asher," he replied, gesturing at his roommate with his bloody dagger. He supposed he might have asked whether or not Asher wanted his identity revealed, but what was a name, really? There was probably even some public list of Chosen back in Michigan she could look through if she was that curious. Maybe... carved into a wall as a permanent testament to their greatness or something.
He thought about searching the birds' corpses for worthwhile trophies, but he doubted he'd find more than the s**t he was already covered with.Quote: Poisonous Dung: You manage to collect a vial of the vile stuff. Tara cast the smartass a glare, but she did appreciate the other girl piping up. "I didn't miss on purpose," she said to attempt to defend herself, feeling her cheeks were still warm. Still, she smiled to the girl--Beaulah--and laughed a bit. "I'll be alright. Can patch myself up once I get back in."
Tara paused a bit to stoop down to collect a vial of blood from one of the newly dead birds, making sure to clean off the outside of the vial before she put it away.
Hearing the introductions, she smiled and straightened, offering a small wave. "I'm Tara. Nice to meet all of you, and good job with the birds!"
