Getting over her crushing defeat, she trudged on until she found an Aipom. It was swing from branch to branch but decided to stop in front of her to say hello. Maybe it was because it saw her gloomy expression and decided to cheer her up. She couldn't not crack a smile at the monkey as it tried to juggle with its stubby arms. After its performance, it did a bow and left back into the trees.

And then, another Riolu came across Alex. But in reality, this was the same Riolu from a moment ago as it reacted the same and tried to pull the same stunt. "Oh no, not this time! I'mma getcha!" the girl declared again, pointing forward. Porygon charged forward into battle, the trickster jumped over it and into a tree. Alex looked up, trying to see where it was but it seemed to have disappeared. "What? Why does this keep happening?" Frustrated, she picked up a rock and threw it into the tree. That's when something unexpected happened. Something blue and shiny had entered her cross-hairs, fleeing from the branches. "Huh? That wasn't a Riolu. I don't think I've ever seen that one before" Alex mused. What if it was a really rare Pokemon? Well she wouldn't know unless she tracked it down.

The girl headed in the direction she saw the shiny thing flee, newfound determination to catch whatever it was. "Na Na!" chirped a small green bird nearby. But it wasn't what she was looking for. Where did it go?

Alex came across another Wurple, this time almost stepping on it. "Oops! Sorry" she apologized to the worm as it scurried off the path. Probably a wise idea lest it wanted to get stepped on by someone else.

"Oh, a Treecko!" Alex smiled and pointed at the tree gecko. The reptile looked at the child who called its name as it climbed the tree. Since it was a rainforest, it made sense that they would be here. Hearing a rustling in the bushes, she ran after the source.

Past the bushes, who else did she find but "Croagunk!" The frog greeted the girl with a croak and a wave. Picking up where they left off, Porygon knew it had to intervene. So it pretended to find another Pokemon nearby to lure his trainer away. "Ahh! Wait for me! Bye Croagunk!" she ran and waved to the poisonous amphibian.

As Silver and Asriel walked beneath one of the trees, Silver would suddenly feel something drop onto her shoulder. Six legs scurried quickly over the hybrid's shoulder and down their back before leaping onto Asriel's face. The Cubone would shriek, flailing around as it tried to pry the String Spit Pokemon off with one hand. The Spinarak would chatter a bit, almost as though it was laughing at the young Cubone. With him being unable to see with the Spinarak laying across his eyes, Asriel would swing his bone club around haphazardly, smacking SIlver in the leg a couple of times before landing a blow on the Spinarak's back, causing it to leap away. Chattering angrily, it would run off and up a nearby tree. Pouting slightly, Asriel would continue to follow his trainer, grabbing a hold of their pant leg once more.

Ryan wanders through the wonderful rainforest. It was truly an amazing spot compared to other spots they had gone on safari.
Ryan finally finds his way to the river area. He knows what pokemon he is after. "Come on, Graft, let's find us a frog. " Ryan says to his Croagunk as he calls it out. Graft nifs and folows Ryan closely.

Ryan stops to watch the Surskit dance along the surface of the river. It was rather mesmerising, but a quick shake of the head allowed him to move on.

Ryan could feel a rather unsettling glare set upon him and found it coming from a set of rather creepy eyes just above the waterline. Ryan would just keep moving until the feeling broke.

As she followed her Porygon, Croagunk decided to follow the girl and continue their conversation. "Cro-oooo-guhhhh" Alex spoke as if she knew the language. The frog would respond in turn, the two of them speaking for a good while until they neared the creek. Then the toad parted ways with them, Alex waving goodbye once more. "Ya know, it's fun talking with Croagunk. But I can't catch him, this is where he bel- Hey where are you going?" The trainer found herself chasing after her Pokemon once again.
