The silence that fell between them didn't seem forced so she left it that way. Until the man said something and she opened her eyes in time to see him surge to his feet and then slowly go back to sitting. He'd hurt himself. Fallon frowned at that and slowly got to her feet so that she could take the seat next to him. "Please, you are not keeping me from anything and I don't think your leg has rested enough." It was her hope that he would hear the gentleness in her tone and remain sitting.

"I was brought here when I was young. I showed signs of being touched by the gods." In truth she remembered very little of her past before life at the sanctum. All she could ever remember was the face of her sister in the dark. Her parents' faces never showed up in her memories or dreams. "This is my home." Fallon finally said.

Reaching out to place her hand atop his she offered him a smile. "If you are not ready to come back to the gods that is fine. But you are always welcome here. To sit and rest. To observe others. Or even if you just need to speak to someone." It was perhaps the most she had said since meeting this man. A man she still did not know the name of.

Tac's lips pressed, but he caught himself and gave the priestess a slow nod. "I'm not going yet," he assured reluctantly.

Touched by the gods? That was something important to those of faith. Something special. He wasn't going to pry for more details though. To have grown up in such an environment... that would explain the kindness and calm that she gave off.

Even so, he was surprised by the gentle touch to his hand. She was so relaxed about his position; or lack there-of. "It will be a while before I return," he said, giving Fallon a halfhearted smile in return. It was true he didn't have anywhere to be today, and that he'd traveled specifically for coming here... but he couldn't sit there without something to focus on other than why he was actually there. "I can not linger for much longer, though. I have other business to attend to." Not really, but he would find something to do. This time, he pushed himself up slower so that he wouldn't tweak his leg, completely forgetting the simple courtesy of providing his own name. "Your welcome.. is most appreciated, Fallon."

In that moment she could tell that he was more cynical than he let on. Fallon didn't blame him. Nor did she try to change his mind. While others might think that was their job she had learned that forcing someone to do something only makes them dig their heels in more. It must be a choice made freely. So when he got to his feet, more slowly this time, she stood as well.

"Don't be a stranger. I look forward to seeing you again." And maybe next time he would let her have a look at his leg. It worried her a little that she was not able to give him something for the discomfort. Fallon wondered just how much pain the past injury caused him.

Turning for the door, Tac frowned slightly. With or without his leg, this end of the village was not one he often came to. See him again? "Perhaps," he replied vaguely. He couldn't guarantee anything. Brow rising, he realized that he hadn't properly greeted the young woman. After a hesitation, he sighed and started walking off. "If we do meet again, my name is Tacrith. It was a pleasure to meet you, Fallon."

"It was nice meeting you Tacrith." She called after him. Fallon stood for a moment more, watching him leave to make sure he wouldn't fall down in pain. Then when the man had gotten too far away for her to see she turned and collected her basket from the ground.

It was time for her to do her evening prayers and give in to her quirk. It had been a few hours since she'd created a swirl and she had promised herself she would make one out of all black rocks in honor of the Goddess and the baby that was recently brought into the world.
