Caleb sped ahead in no time and only started to slow down after the lap had fully been completed. He won, but he was wiped, only over-exerting himself slightly by ending his already tenuous run with a heavy sprint. He lurched over to catch a breath, turning to Mercy.
"So I win," he nearly boasted. "What does that get me?"

Mercy hated losing, but alas, she wasn't fast enough to catch up to Caleb. It was a close run, so she couldn't be too mad. She dropped to her knees and placed her arms on top of her head, looking to Caleb, rolling her eyes. "Whatever you want really. Your terms remember? Or did you not hear that as you zoomed by me?" She moved to lay down on the raceway, stretching out her legs and arms while grinning at the man beside her. Hopefully, he would want ice cream or something since she was desperately needing her fix.
He grinned in shame, unable to think of a reward for himself. All he could really think about was getting inside and away from the heat and getting some cold water.
"How about an I owe you," he suggested, rising to stand tall as he grabbed a towel to dry off some of his sweat from dripping down his brow. "When I need a favor, I'll call on you. Sound good?" He flicked the towel over his shoulder.

An I owe you? Sure, whatever. Mercy picked herself off of the ground, stretched once more, and smiled. "Yeah sure. I can get behind that~" She really wanted to get out of this damned heat so she could have her ice cream and take a nice cold shower before napping. THEN she would have to challenge Rob to a spar once more. There was just something about kicking the Elven man's behind that had her super entertained. "I'll see you around Caleb~" With that, she made her way towards the Hearth vanilla ice cream with some caramel sounded good right about now.
