She chuckled, "No. It's full of maps and globes with a lot of photographs and paintings of places around the world. Very explorer-esque." Pondering where the logical--if there's such thing as logic in a place of magic--location of the mail room might be, she turns to Mathilda. "Which way have you tried?"

"Fascinating." Scratching her head, Mathilda grinned sheepishly. "Um...I've tried staring at the map. Kinda ran into you before I could get any further, not that I'm complaining." Smiling toward Marisol, Mathilda shook her map.

"I'd have guessed something different than world imagery, to be fair," she admitted. Given some of his other realms of influence, she might have guessed a motif of currency or theft. Not that she was going to suggest that to Mathilda. She turned her attention to the map, reaching at one hand to pinch the edge and steady it. The Hermes dorm wasn't hard to find on it; anything else though... "You'd think it'd be close to the entrance, right?"

"One would think...but who knows. Wonder if you guys have like a vault or something. Wouldn't put it past Hermes to go around nabbing things and dropping them off here...stealing ain't my style but I would love to see what he's got." Eyes widening, Mathilda laughed quickly. "Not that I steal, that's bad. Very bad. Yea." She paused. "Oh! The entrance...that could be one place. Have you seen any mail boxes. That would be a hint."

"I'll have to look into that," she chuckles, "and let you know." Cocking her head to the side, she appraised the other girl, "Curiosity doesn't imply kletopmania," she teased before considered the question about mail boxes. She hadn't see any in her recollection but they had to be somewhere, "Not that I recall but we might as well head that way and start our search there."

Laughing, Mathilda nodded and followed Marisol. "That's true." Glancing around, Mathilda took in the outside of the Hermes dorm. "Cool. Maybe they'll have a package drop off. Or at least directions."

"Someone has to know where it is," she replied, "otherwise I hope there's some delivery owls like Hogwarts." She began down the path towards the Hearth and Assembly Hall. Those seemed to be the most obvious places of gathering. Perhaps the mail was delivered and picked up near there. "At worst, we change to tracking down those recruiters or the tour guides and ask them," she chuckled.

"Ooooh...I hope so. Maybe we each get our own owl too! I would name it Cupcake." Giggling Mathilda looked around at the path they took. They passed a couple of dorms along the way as well. "We could also try to find someone as well. Luckily this place isn't too confusing."

Marisol considered an owl of her own, "Pirouette might be a fitting name," then shrugged the thought off. It wouldn't help her much here. Besides owls were pretty noticeable. She glanced at the buildings before focusing on the Hearth up ahead. "The map's handy, too," she added. "Might as well check the Hearth before we set out for a person."

Nodding, Mathilda veered in the direction of the Hearth. She felt kinda bad for dragging Marisol into this hunt for the mailroom, but at least there wasn't awkward silence. "So, how do you like it here?" She left the question hanging in the air.

"Not much to dislike, so far, after the whole ' btw monsters are real' bit." That still took some adjustment. One she'd do her best to adapt to because in her mind there was no other option. "What about you?" she asked.

"It's different, to say the least. Change is something I'm used to. I'm curious about the monsters, however." Mathilda had dealt with a lot of change in her past. Hopefully, this new change would not have any major hiccups.

She nodded, "That wasn't in the sales pitch, I heard," she admitted. "Do you have experience fighting?" because this woman had mentioned the monsters but nothing about the part where they would have to fight them.

Glancing at Marisol, Mathilda smirked. "And then some. Been able to fight since I was six. Hand to hand, with weapon. How about you? You have any experience?" Mathilda smiled. Fighting was totally her thing.

"Not unless you count ballet as a martial art," she laughed. "Maybe I'll have to ask you for a sparring match when I know what I'm doing." Although she had a feeling it'd be a long while until she was good enough to go up against someone who had been fighting since they were six.
