DH arrived a while later at the base, minus Akash thinking it would be better to ask Mara before she brought the child back here when it wasn't prudent. That could wait though until she got the video call out of the way even if his current babysitter would have said otherwise.

Reaching range she smiled faintly and mentally poked Wizard.~Okay, we're ready. If you can warn Hexxis I'll meet you both in the room we were in. Ura is in agreement ..and the twins are in a safer place unwillingly. ~ she said the last with a flicker of worry and guilt and no small bit of anger too even if she couldn't sense the stab wound.

//Acknowledged .....Hexxis has been planning. She wishes to be involved in the infiltration and has been trying to form new plans to be added to the conversation //

//Ah ..haha...good. I think this won't be to long...see how well this works at first and if she still willing to work with us after seeing who it is that is helping. I mean ..I still think she will but it's a possibility //blinking as she landed and showed her pass to get in, realize she was tired and rambling. //just..I'm on my way//

//Acknowledged// Wizard thought back to DH as she stopped what he was doing and returned to the room he had originally left Hexxis. A normal organic would have left in the past 5 hours but patterns showed she might continue to be there. Opening the door to the meeting room they had used this morning he glanced inside for Hexxis.

Hexxis had finished writing different scenarios before deviating to looking through the journal and reading entries and looking at pictures and drawings. At some point, she had fallen asleep at the table, in top of her journal.

Wizard blinked watching the figure inside before entering himself. Silently he moved and lightly touch the side of her arm and waited.

She jolted awake, grabbing his arm with only a split second of panic with serious eyes, ready to disable or attack but paused. Staring at him, she let go, coming to a stand. Glancing to the journal, another drawing of Tri on the page she was on, she quickly moved to close it. "...."

Wizard blinked as he was grabbed, looking back at her silently as he tapped her arm again and tilted his head as she let go. Straightening he looked at the picture of her father/original owner before it was closed. A moment later her phone hummed with a text.

-DH is arriving through the checkpoints. Fourth group member will be joining us through video chat-

Hexxis kept a blank face, staring at Wizard. "I apologize." she spoke robotically then blinked, moving to check her phone. "Understood." she responded, looking back up at him again.

Wizard nodded and picked up a tablet that was left there earlier. In a few seconds he had it set up to call just as DH entered the room looking exhausted and drinking a cup of chocolate. "Sorry...he agreed but things were forced to move quickly after that. We should be ready now, Wizard call him..Hexxis, Wizard mentioned you have some plans you wanted to throw out?" Asking as Wizard sent the call to Zaku's phone.

"Yes, I have analyze 32 different scenarios and accomodations for those plans. I limited it to the basic ones since I do not currently have access to the skill set of the fourth member to the team yet." she nodded with a blank look, staring at the tablet in silent anticipation.

Zaku was sitting in the twin's bedroom, a solemn expression played on his face as he waited. The moment his phone rang, he took a breath, letting go of the somber feeling he had for now and answered the video call. "..hey."

"Hello" DH muttered with a nod to the screen as Wizard adjusted it so it was being held by the stand. "Ura, Hexxis. Hexxis...codename Ura " thre was only a flicker of a smile but she was already watching Hexxis for any problems. "He was helping take care of the twins, now he is willing to help reacquire Mr Grumpy Face "

Hexxis focused on the screen as it flicked on to who answered, a blonde haired man that she instantly recognized. There was a flicker of confusion before immediate betrayal and anger set in, even if it didn't show on her face. She took a step back. "..renegade ties.." she commented blandly. "Who." she demanded, narrowing her eyes at the screen. "Who!" she demanded forcefully before looking to DH. "Why?!"

Zaku watched her reaction, not sure what to tell her. "Hexxis.. I'm just here to help, that's it. I won't involve myself further, I told you before that I wouldn't."

Hexxis emitted a very soft low growl, "No." her hands were shaking as she tried to understand why they would ask him of all people.


DH crossed her arms and looked tired. "Hexxis, we're not SIU we are currently independent contractors Mara hired. " not mentioning working with Zaku would still get them in trouble with their own home city. "Tri brought him in because they are his children too, and so far he has kept his word. No renegade contacts, no trouble and it was enough for Tri to leave him alone with them. He is also willing to help ,for what ever reason, get Tri out. He has experience doing this that we all are lacking. " keeping her voice calm and even.

Hexxis looked to the screen, trying to piece the information together. Zaku and Tri.. Tri trusted him with Stormy and Akash. Zaku had no renegade contacts. He was willing to help. No, he was still the enemy. But Tri...

She took a deep breath and narrowed her eyes. "Temporary truce based on data supporting increase of success and notable decrease in margin of error in retrieving authorized owner." she took a step forward to lean to the screen, making eye contact with Zaku directly. "I am not like my father... This is not a favor. I will not repay a debt I never agreed to. I will terminate you if you choose to interfere again once this mission is completed and you have departed." she warned. They needed the help. She was willing to do anything to get Tri back, even if it was to make temporary allies with her own enemy.


Zaku held his gaze with Hexxis, a serious expression with her as he nodded in agreement. "I understand." he replied simply.

Hexxis gave a single nod before standing up straight up and glancing to DH for further direction from her. "What is your plan?"

//A debt?// she muttered looking to Wizard silently. Well that kind of started to explain Tri a little but not much. Silently she continued to listen relaxing as Hexxis agreed to work with them even with Zaku in the group. The lay out of intentions would only help clarify things after the rescue when it wasn't their business any more. Basically it was expected.

Looking at Hexxis she nodded. "As you saw I can take on someone's form and hold it for up to 4 hours. Wizard grabbed information on specific members of the base that would likely have access to Tri and the other "guests" in the compound. Wizard has already compiled as much information as he could without hacking into any new sources." she sighed motioning to Wizard.

"It will take me at least a 2 days to familiarize myself with their obvious mannerisms but that is minor. It will depend on when Wizard can hack and integrate with the new base. Hexxis and Zaku will come as my guard or helper..in disguise obviously, or Zaku will stay in the car. Less likelihood either of you will need to talk. " she continued tiredly, moving the cup from hand to hand.

"The point is to go in and bring him out without anyone noticing or finding it strange. That said ..." she looked to Hexxis and Zaku. "We have never done this before or at least in not such a protected area. Actually barely protected... "

Hexxis kept a focus on DH as she laid out the plans for the mission. "In such case that we fail to keep discreet, I suggest the use of powers at full extent to secure Trisuri. Zaku has luck based abilities along with snaring and powers that suggest easy manueverabilty, assuming he could lift Trisuri, which I doubt, if he is left to escort him out, there will need to be a second person. So he is not a suitable candidate for direct extraction. However, DH and I both have superior physical abilities and are capable of carrying Trisuri if need be. I do not know how agile DH is, or how physically resistant she is, but I can assume that it is more that Zaku or Wizard and possibly myself." she paused. "With this in mind, I suggest that in the event of a breech or failure on discretion, we use speed and maneuverability as primary means of extraction and heavy hitting to cover escape. Is that an adequate back up plan? Yes or no?"

Zaku just stared, internally amazed at her but also saddened how robotic she sounded. He looked to DH for confirmation before speaking out, since he didn't have any problems with the plan she proposed.


DH looked at Wizard for a moment then look back and nodded. "That is a good back up plan. I can take gun shots but sword, daggers and the rest not that well. I am still more hardy in armor form so if needed I can clear the way.. you carry him and watch the rear? Wizard will be able to use their own defenses against them ...which leaves ..." she looks at Zaku and nodded to him waiting.

Hexxis nodded, "I can handle swords and daggers. Gun shots are harder to handle. As well, my bones are dense enough to be almost unbreakable." she added, "I am capable of carrying him and taking damage if need be." She then looked to Zaku as well, waiting for his contributions.

Zaku took a breath, his serious look never faltering. "I am able to lend luck to make things go in our favor only five times. Unless I really concentrate on something damn near a miracle takes all the uses. As for other things, I can entangle people with roots. I am also proficient in free-runner and throwing knives. If I need to be, I can... be a nuisance." he offered with a slight regret in saying it like that. "I can stop people or even act as a distraction. Worse comes to worse, I could run around screaming I'm Zaku Shiori and let them chase me around for a while." he gave a small chuckle.

Hexxis looked very unamused by his commentary. "You are also capable of healing so if you are able to stay out of the fray of fighting, you will be useful in healing injuries. Can you heal and run at the same time?"

Zaku quirked an eyebrow. "I've never done it before, but I should be able to do it."

She nodded. "Then you will act as support to DH and I."

"So we switch off as needed" she nodded to Hexxis as she waited for Zaku's contribution and taking in what he said serious up to the point he mention running around screaming I'm Zaku Shiori.

She cracked up plain and simple started laughing as she mentally imagined him running around waving his hands in the air shouting i'm Zaku, I'm Zaku i'm Zaku like a demented pokemon.

She barely heard the rest just healing and support as she nodded still laughing as she wiped tears from her eyes and Wizard moved into the of the screen and watched her quietly before works appeared on the chat screen on either end of the chat. -Zaku will stay to the middle between them and I will be inside their systems attempting to waylay them-

Hexxis looked none too pleased by the laughter, finding this a high inappropriate situation for comedy when her father could be in pain, dying, or dead. She was trying not to get angry, but the outrage was beginning to boil beneath the stoic surface of an expressionless gaze trained on DH.

Zaku nodded in agreement. "Sounds good to me."

Slowly she calmed down, appropriate or not she was of the philosophy of living in the moment when you can. Glancing at Hexxis she made no indication she could see her anger rising and instead turn her attention to Zaku responding only when she felt she had reasonable calmed down even if there was a spark of mischief in her eyes.

"Plan A, B and C fairly laid out. Next is what to expect once we're inside. and The lay out which ..Wizard said you have been drawing?" raising a brow as she looked at Hexxis for the last part but then look at Zaku for the first.

"Well, I don't know exactly which facility they would put him at, but if I had to bet, it's the West Norcrest Penitentiary. That's where a lot of government projects are and the closest to Simco Research.. a Haven facility." he relayed, "I know the weakest areas of their security. People-wise. They tend to focus on their entrance and rear mostly. They have lookout towers, but the weakest entry is the West side since its facing away from the city. There's nothing out that way and so the towers are responsible if anything gets out that way, sniping whatever moves. If they see it. "

Hexxis nodded, opening her journal to flip through the maps she had drawn and setting it down on one of that particular facility. It showed each room of the facility and towers. Most rooms were labeled, such as cells and even the break room for employees. "This is a map accurate to 89% accounting for lack of labeling of certain rooms and a 6% margin of error of exact footage of rooms and overall facility." she commented and looked to DH.

"People inside will be armed. Bullet proof vests, guns, tasers. Your typical swat gear, really. They still change shifts at the same time instead of staggered. An outdated methos that's highly innefective for security reasons but it's easier on payroll and scheduling so it's continued. Anyway, morning shift comes in at 6am, midshift comes in at 2pm, graveyard at 10pm. Best bet is likely when they are moving a lot of people like for lunch at 2pm. It's the best time to do that since it is right after shift change and staff is still getting situated and you run into the faulty part of the system that sometimes people run late to work so the security varies heavily during this time." he added then fell quiet.

Hexxis looked between DH and Zaku then nodded.

"Wait.....penitentiary means ....jail?" She said looking up at Wizard for confirmation then put her thumb and the knuckle of her pointer finger against the bridge of her nose as she shut her eyes tightly. Why, why, why... she thought that was the name of the military base itself, something like a research center but not. These are there times that her lack of experience compared to other races show through.

"Yes, the files Wizard took mentioned he was moved there" frowning as that pretty much put all her plans on its head, it would still work but that depended even more that she got the personality spot on which she wasn't going to be able to do, passable was the best with only a few video clips. There was also a large difference between breaking into a base vs breaking someone out if jail. Then a Haven research center right by it, that made her shiver...

"The plan still works and that time works...except I am not sure how to take Tri out without moving through a whole lot of paperwork with time we do not have and experience I don't have. Even if Wizard's adds a note that he is being transferred there is paperwork...harder than someone in Mara's position taking out a research prisoner. I can see this moving very very quickly to plan B " she said truthfully not even counting the percentages now and just going with gut feeling.

Reaching up she played with the end of her hair as she frowned. Then looked to Wizard and nodded. "Okay he says that he can control the doors and locks..he could make a system wide malfunction at 2pm that would give us complete and utter chaos. The problem would be who are we letting out and who are we keeping in? Put in mind I don't want loss of life but chaos might give us the time to go in and out. The towers will still be a problem, true race guards, with haven near by ..maybe even others like Hexxis .."


"Don't let the name fool you. It used to be a jail but over time is just a government training facility for housing military projects. Then again, it isn't a ritzy hotel either." he commented quickly. "Just means its armed. They want to protect their precious pets and the government funds it to keep it safe. So while letting out everyone there isn't that bad an idea, it does increase the chances of guests there being just like Hexxis. Brainwashed, trained, controlled, commanded." he agreed.

"It may be easier to start in with plan a and attempt to remove him in that method but be ready to switch into plan b the moment we are met with resistance." Hexxis offered.

DH grimaced and went back to playing with a few strands of her hair. "So it is mostly military projects, any actual people there that are jailed there too? Because at this point we could just mosey right on over and take out Haven to" she grumbled not serious..completely. Closing her eyes for a moment she looked to Hexxis. "Yes, I was thinking a combination of A and B. A up to the point where we get question why we are taking him out. Then B is us getting out but then you have the towers, the stretch of cleared government controlled land where they can easily radio in for help and or release and command any of their ..." she grimaced. "Pets" she said with a sigh. Looking back at Zaku "How likely do you think it is that we can walk out of there with Tri if I imitate one of their top officials? "

Wizard shifted slightly -If haven is involve previous files Tri has recovered indicated they have shown interest in researching the glow of his eyes and the living metal at his temple. There is a chance that he may have been transferred from the the penitentiary to Samco. I have only verified where he was transfer after he purposely turned himself in but nothing else-
-With a high security facility not all security modules are connected to a outside source. I will need to physically be there to integrate with the close system. Originally we had planned for me to transfer through their electrical cables then integrate, it is still viable even with the new information. If needed I can give 5 extra luck boosts if Zaku is willing to demonstrate -

"We won't know if Haven is involved with Tri's project until we look at his role. You see Simco ties, you bet your a** Haven has a hand in it." Zaku retorted then thought for a moment. "The likeliness depends on his willingness. Impersonating a top official may get him out, people aren't paid enough to care that much. They won't notice until checks at shift changes. So that buys us time to get the hell outta dodge." he put a hand to his chin thoughtfully. "Demonstrate?"

"Well he was willing to place himself in their hands so pretty safe to bet to he willing to go along with many things " she frowned in disapproval. "So leaning on that...okay so plan A is a go. Plan B ... should we get to that...how are we going to get out? Assuming they just shoot up the car, or we could just all fly ...might be the easiest and most dangerous..at least lessens what they can send after us if we get past the tower's range " looking toward Wizard she glanced back at Zaku. "He can imitate a power if he sees it used three times. Then he has to choose whether to keep it or only use it only when in sight of the original carrier "

"If we activate plan B, might I suggest you and Zaku pair to secure Trisuri's safety. I will take out any guards in the towers that will pose a threat. I cannot fly like either of you. But I am able to jump at high distances and land with little effect to my body." Hexxis suggested suddenly, a blank but serious expression.

Zaku paused with a frown, looking to DH then sighing. "I am capable of assisting with luck to make sure DH and Tri get out safely. If you need help, I can double back to assist once he is at a safe distance." he offered.

"I should not need it. I was raised and trained for this specific purpose." she responded bluntly.

Zaku frowned at the implication but moved from the conversation. "Should I....just show you right now... Or do I have to do in physically in front of you?" he asked, not sure how the power worked and what the limitations were.

"..." DH looked between them and sighed. "Zaku takes Tri, I'll take you and we'll a barrier between them. It only takes up a minute or two to flying hard to get out of range and Zaku can do it in less time with levitate. You take out one tower and we use that blind spot to fly up. " she said with a frown at Hexxis. "Team..because I can bet that if you save him and get captured, he is coming right back to get you " she looked to Zaku and sighed. "Face to face, doesn't work like this "

Hexxis flicked her eyes to DH after she caught on how desperate she seemed to be to get Tri back, even if it meant increasing her likeliness of being captured herself. She reluctantly nodded even if she didn't show how she felt about it. DH was right, if she were to be captured, Tri would inevitably come back for her, something of a cold comfort by this point. Bittersweet and painful. "That is an adequate means of escape." she finally responded.

"Hmm.. alright. Yeah, I can show Wizard my power when we meet face to face. Although, I recommend it not be on the same day as we go to get Tri. I can only use it five times in a day... and if I'm already using it three times.. well, you obviously see what I'm getting at." Zaku gave a half shrug, then sighed.

DH stared at Hexxis then nodded, internally relieved she agreed to it without much problem. Turning to Zaku she quirked a brow "I was thinking when we see you next, which should be in a bit. Tomorrow Wizard will do the first test run to get into their outer systems..if so and everyone is ready we move. If not then we keep waiting until he does. "
DH looked to Hexxis and frown "You might want to dye your hair black and Zaku...brown. "

"Sounds good to me." Zaku replied simply. He then chuckled a bit nervously. "I... can't dye my hair.. but I have a wig, so I'll use that..." he commented.

Hexxis nodded. "Understood." she responded then tilted her head slightly as DH suggested she dye her hair. "....I do not know how to complete that task.." she admitted, embarrassment rising just beneath.

DH looked at Zaku and raised a brow curiously but nodded. "Just make sure if doesn't fall off... " she blinked and looked at Wizard then back. "Or you could cut it off too" there was a flicker of a smile as she relayed the information.

Turning her attention to Hexxis she looked faintly surprised. "That if fine. I can help you do that right after this meeting. Wizard will go to Ura and we will get that done first. Hm... anything else we missed?"


"I'm good, I'd rather not cut it. And don't worry, the wig won't come off unless I want it to." he answered.

Hexxis nodded. "Understood."

"I think we covered everything." Zaku added then fell silent.

"Okay then... if we are a go tomorrow we'll meet up at (address) " she said trying to think of anything else and nothing that could be done right now. After helping Hexxis she just had to go and stare at someone until her head hurt. "Wizard will meet you in a bit because he is going to go and run at reasonable vampire speeds instead of a vampire on Speed " there was a flicker of warning as she looked to Wizard who just looked back at her and tilted his head slightly. " ..." she sighed. "Right then. Hexxis... lets go do that now? unless you can also put a wig that won't come off"

Zaku nodded. "Alright, I'll head there right now." he replied. "Let me know if there's anything else you think of." he added then waved a bit and hung up, already moving to pack some things then head out right away.



DH nodded to Zaku as the phonecall cut and she looked to Wizard who had moved to take care of the machine. A moment later he left heading off to meet with Zaku as she turned to look at Hexxis. "Worth a try, um lets use one of the empty rooms and i'll look around storage " she muttered motioning to the door as she glanced over to the notes and the journal.

"Understood." she replied simply and looked to her journal, hesitating before deciding to gather it into her purse before taking it with her out the room with DH.

It took Zaku much longer than expected, taking a little over an hour more than he would have needed to travel as he finally made it to the house. His shirt was torn, he had been shot three times, two in the back and one had pierced through his side which he was still clutching for dear life before he bled out, there were three more wounds, two in his leg and one in his arm that were already healed up enough to not be a problem. There was blood running down the side of his face, but there didn't appear to be a major wound there. As he walked up to the house, he practically sksmned into the door, disoriented and off balance as he was struggling to stay awake. Moving to prop himself up on the door frame, he winced as he shifted to knock on the door.

Wizard had arrived soon after the end of the call and was now looking against through information Tri had left behind to see why he might have been trying to turn himself in. He was highly aware that Zaku was late but multiple reasons could have existed for that so he waited. At the knock he got up from the chair and moved to the door, glancing through the peephole to see who it was before opening the door. Staring at the muse he silently grabbed him and pulled him inside while also checking the security cameras outside and sending a text to DH. Standing he stared at Zaku with a flicker of a frown as he attempted to look up specs and repair guide for a muse.

Zaku looked relieved to see Wizard open the door, moving to step inside but he was already pulling him inside quicker than he would have been able to himself. As soon as he was in the house, he collapsed onto the ground, still bleeding out from the wound in his side, "...sh-s**t.." he cursed, trying to stay conscious but it was difficult with how blurry his vision was. "...I.... I need to heal,...." he was mumbling to himself, still trying to heal at least that wound but it looked like it doing nothing or working far too slow to be beneficial by this point.

Wizard said nothing and just stared at Zaku, current healing was considered one use as he analyzed it quickly. Currently no heal ability programmed into Paste, no heal abilities in base program, regeneration and prototype suit components out of range and emergency services untrustworthy due to notoriety.

Permanent non-functional state of Zaku Shiroi imminent.

Silently he pulled up Zaku's shirt looking at the wound at his side as he activated ability after ability. (Analyzing(lvl7):multitasking(passive) ), (Pasted ability: Beserker(DH):target ability: Repair(up to lvl 10), (Repair: Nanites primed for separate organism),(Programming:lvl 4:rewrite nanites, setting extraction point).

Reaching up there was a flicker of electricity as he touched the thumb nail on his right hand with his pointer finger. (Energy manipulation: (lvl 6) electrons modified to vibrate and allow better cuts.15 rounds)). Using his thumbnail he cut a line into his wrist allowing blood to swell and drip until a line of silver grey replaced the blood and blocked the wound. Turning he tried to pull Zaku's arm away and allow the pure nanites with some of his blood to fall on the wound. A repair that would likely be extremely painful for Zaku since does not know how to program for pain blockage but should allow him to survive until DH arrives.

Zaku was struggling to stay conscious, coughing a bit as he was still trying to heal himself to no avail. "...slow healing..." he muttered but it was faint.

He closed his eyes, trying to focus, before he felt Wizard move his hand. It was moment before surging pain washed over the wound, screaming out in agony as he thrashed in immediate response.

Wizard let go and moved out of Reach as Zaku threaten. Blue eyes held a flicker of doubt as he watch Zaku, making no other movement to help or stop him.

Glancing at his wrist the wound slowly was starting to close. Nanites below 15% activating manufacturing protocol.

Kneeling he kept watched over Zaku as he waited.

DH sighed pretty sure she was nose blind to the smell of the dye by now but it was done. Done with a new color other than black after realizing how close to Melody that would be, that would be very awkward and quite sure Mara nor Melody would appreciate it. Not that she had actually meet the other metas, they had been careful to try and stay inside and even with more people coming in to fill positions that were needed she and wizard would stand out. There was also the possibility they would not join SIU ...something she had been seriously thinking about but was unsure. Going in disguise will help keep that option open plus not putting herself or wizard on the wanted list is also a very good thing.

A buzz from her phone made her frown as she quickly checked it. ".......Gaia..." she whispered and put it in her pocket as she looked around for Hexxis, if not she will just run off but better at least warn someone.


Zaku double over to his other side, grimacing hard as he screamed out again, the pain unbearable it threatened unconsciousness out of shock. But luckily, or unluckily, he was still awake, barely clinging to it.

Hexxis was washing out the last not of dye, not being happy about having to be in water and keeping it to shoving her head under the faucet instead of actually getting in the tub. Once finished, she dried her hair as quickly as possible and moved to find DH. Spitting her, she tilted her head, noticing her faster pace.

DH spotted Hexxis and frowned, eyes quickly scanning her hair then moving back to her face. "I have to go. Ura seems to have meet some trouble along the way and ...we need him" she said calmly. "I'm heading toward the address encase I don't text you in half an hour "


The nanites spread through Zaku's system converging on the wounded areas and shifting to replace the damage tissue with a nanite built structure. Bullets where slowly but steadily being pushed out through the entrance hole, through time it will use the building blocks of the cells to stimulate growth to heal the area and slowly fall off until it is completely healed in ...maybe a month.

"Affirmative." she answered calmly, staring at her with an expressionless face.

Zaku scrunched his face in pain, coughing harshly as he fought back against the feeling of pain. He had no idea what wizard had done and what was happening, just begging in his mind for it to stop. He only lasted a few more minutes before he completely passed out.

DH nodded and headed out, moving through the check points as quickly as she could until she could take to the sky. It wasn't even more than a second or two when she saw wings taking off after her in her peripheral. Far away enough to seem coincidental but not far enough to not make her suspicious. Continuing on her path she flew over the city skimming here and there as the other two flew a far away as they could, without many places to hide they were pretty obvious and she was in a hurry. Turning she flew right back toward them, spotting the look of surprise on their faces as they fumble for something at their waist. "Hey! ...don't I know you?" she point to a random one as she squinted at the fallen, yelling loud enough to be heard over the wind.

The fallen blinked and shook his head "N-No. I am pretty sure I would know if we met" there was a smirk on his face as DH move to hover far from them.

"Ahh okay.... " she said taking out her phone and taking a picture of them as she backwings while sending it to someone else.

"H-Hey!! you can't do that" the other one flew toward her looking alarmed and worried.

"So sorry. I mean you both -really- look like someone.. and being here so close to the base. Were you wanting to join SIU? I mean as a security measure I took a picture of you and sent it directly to their director since you did fly out of SIU territory and it is a no fly zone without ID and all. Sorry if she already knew ...you know can't be overly careful" she said with a laugh she didn't feel. "oh right... I have to go. If you weren't and you were just snooping around I wouldn't...to many trigger happy people there... and all the warnings are on the signs, pity they can't put any in the air right? saves on being targeted by a missle when just cruising along. Welll... see you!" she waved taking off before they could figure out what to do.

Diving low she flew between the buildings, making sure they didn't follow. Normally she would have brought them coffee... that would have been amusing but right now that stop could have forfeited Zaku's life and she was afraid...Wizard was with him but he couldn't heal.. maybe just slow it down. Still if she wasn't careful she would bring who ever was tailing her to them. No strength and no armor.. not unless she wanted to confirm she was the person who helped Hexxis.

After she was sure she headed to the house and opened the door with her own key. Inside she stared at Wizard watching Zaku and Zaku passed out on the floor covered in blood but breathing. Hissing she moved toward the prone body and checked for a pulse as Wizard filled her in.

//Zaku is currently alive. Boosted Repair and transferred nanites. Healing is not advised, subject seems to be in immense pain...... I ...do not understand what I did wrong. Nanites working on current updated muse body diagram as of a few months ago from (medical school).// Wizard sent to her as he watched DH kneel by Zaku and grimnce at his words.

Moving in less of a hurry she started to check his wounds, watching a lack of bleeding and in some of them something moving and wiggling its way back out. "...great great great great..." she muttered staring at Zaku as she ran her hand through her hair. Healing Wizard was tricky business...and now he had that tricky business with Zaku. ".... Okay i'll monitor him until he wakes. if he stops breathing deactivate the nanites and i'll take over healing. Also keep an eye out for people searching the area. It might be coincidence that I caught some of Mara's watchers or somehow someone knows I am connected to Zaku. Not...fun"

The home was extremely simple, likely how the home they were living in was before the children were brought in. There was a covered couch, a couple of chairs and nothing more in sight. Zaku was covered with the couch cover but still on the linoleum floor as DH slept.

Wizard sat in one of the chairs staring at Zaku but mentally doing other functions as he ate something that looked like a homemade granola bar from a blue ziplock::

Zaku winced, opening his eyes slightly. Groaning a bit, he dare not move, his side still hurting but much more manageable now. "...what the ********..." he muttered to himself, grimacing as he looked around, seeing DH sleeping then shifted his vision to Wizard then sighed.

Wizard looked at him and tilted his head slightly in question, showing not much more emotion then that as he moved and lightly started to tap DH even when she tried to brush him away with a wing he continue to tap her with a single minded intensity.

DH muttered and grabs his hand. "nuuuu don't wanna get up" she muttered trying to push him away then blinking as her mind kick started. "Oh...he's awake?" she said pulling her wing back and looking around groggily as she focused on Zaku. Red eyes stared at him as she pushed hserl up and moved over to him. "How are you feeling?..." she muttered running her hand through her hair as Wizard got up and moved back to the chair to watch them.


"....I remember being shot at, being shot, getting away, then....." he looked over to wizard again. "....then he did something that hurt like hell..." he commented. He tried to move a hand to his side, still feeling some pain but he wasn't bleeding out anymore. "...still feel like s**t but... I'll live..." He still had healing wounds, taking surprisingly longer to heal than normal.

"He...did something complicated because he didn't think you would live other wise" she sighed blinking as she looked toward the large wound on his side which was a metallic sheen where skin should be. "I will be careful with your healing though... " she muttered. "He can't heal...he can repair... including manufacture a nanobit robot like thing that he uses to heal...he re-programmed them and sent them into you. So..." she frowned. "if you heal a wound while they are there they could be put into the cell itself ....continue its function and make a mess of your body. Can you sense them?"

He closed his eyes, "I don't understand any bit of that... I think I feel it, just mostly hurting..."

"Uh...." she sighed and closed her eyes. "you're still injured. you have metal in you that is doing the function of your important bits. Don't heal those wounds. Focus on the rest. the metal thingys will heal and fade away on their own... "

He didn't seem to grasp the concept as he just ended up Looking worried. "How long do I not heal...?" It was obvious he had no idea what nanites were and what they were doing.

"Unless you know a tech based meta with healing powers..likely a month maybe a bit more since it stimulates your body to heal it instead of ...magical healing. It's like a moving bandage ....only better?" She winced trying one more time to find something Zaku could understand instead of worrying.
Wizard looked between them with a flicker of confusion as he sent a text.-who was chasing you?-

He frowned, ".....okay." he spoke simply then sighed. No healing himself for a month, that'll be fun. Oh well, gotta trust the odd metallic healing bandage stuff then. He felt his phone vibrate and he fumbled to retrieve it from his pocket, trying not to shift too much due to the pain, wincing as he did so. He read the message and narrowed his eyes. "Military from Criel. They were shooting to kill."

DH sighed "Maybe not coincidence...I was followed from SIU just now. Lost them but they will likely have someone different next time" she sounded concern as she moved to Zaku and carefully started sending healing energy to the areas that weren't being completely cared for by the nanites.

-Military from Criel would have needed permission from Belrad to enter the city for dual short term operation unless here illegally or through prior agreements. Criel must have known where you were or followed DH after Hexxis's incident. Another possibility it is also Norcrest operatives that have been observing Mara following either of us or that Tri was forced to release the information and norcrest passed the information on. -

-If on observation then DH, Stormy, Akash, Rasiel and myself have been linked to you. There is still a margin for error but considering your wounds and Mara's access to your DNA a match can be easily done.-

"The ones observing Mara have no reason to deviate from that...I guess. But ..Criel was after Hexxis in a surprise run on Belosh...now here the same. My money is on Tri ..." she looked angry as she kept healing, noticing how slowly it worked on Zaku.


"They tailed me from the house." he spoke as he sent a text message to someone then sighed. He frowned, a somber look wearing on his expression as he put a hand over his eyes and took a deep breath. He looked to DH with a pained expression. "Is that why she came back to SIU?" he asked but didn't really wait for an answer as he cursed under his breath. "My money is also on Tri. There's no way they would have connected either of you to me like that. Or Hexxis..." he commented and slowly sat up, grimacing slightly. His phone buzzed and he read the returned message and exhaled with relief. "Stormy and Rasiel are okay. He says he's sure they weren't followed but will continue to keep a look out and let me know if he sees anything." There was another buzz, a message that made him frown. He replied and locked the phone. "What now then?"

"Good... Akash should be fine.. even if they did tail me" she frowned but made no movement to send any text on her own. Looking back at Zaku she frowned "You're injured... and for some reason you're rejecting quite a lot of my healing powers. This will likely put you out of the rescue. I am not quite sure if I shouldn't go sneak Hexxis out and we just wait or continue going on as normal. "

"My body processes healing slower than normal. I'll be fine. I just.. I need to take it a little easy until we go." He assured her. "Just keep with the plan."

DH looked at him and raised a brow. "You do know it's not a scratch right? and we could be going as soon as tomorrow if ...well likely not but it is a possibility" she sighed. "Stubborn ...you ..Hexxis..Tri..." she sighed. "That they can also be waiting for us to go after him... it wouldn't take them much to know what Wizard and I are doing for Mara.." Realizing this became a 1000 times more complicated than she thought.

"...yeah... the pain won't exactly let me forget that.. but I'm also Zaku ******** Shiori... And this wouldn't be the first nor the last time I am shot at." he commented with a half-confident smile that pushed past the pain he felt. "If they are waiting for us to attack, then why advance? That's a pretty shitty trap of that's the case. If anything, the fact that they are pursuing us is a dead giveaway they have no idea what we are planning. But you can bet it won't stay that way for long now that we are moving."

"I was thinking more of ..they are going to pump up security" she reached out and poked Zaku's nose. "You sound like a kid who says he isn't sick so he can still go to the park even when he is blowing his nose like crazy " she said with a hint of amusement before she let out a long sigh. "So by tomorrow do you think you can carry 200 or so pounds through a chaotic corridor while being shot at?"

Zaku scrunched his nose as she poked it. "Hey, maybe I am that kid." he muttered embarassedly before smirking. A flicker of seriousness passed his face as she asked if he could lift while being shot at by tomorrow. He laughed a little nervously then sighed with a smile. "Yeah, yeah. Wouldn't be the first time. I can to do. Its going to hurt like hell. But it's worth it."

DH smiled faintly as he mentioned he might be that kid, as he continue to push to go she sighed. Staring at him seriously she reached back and punched him lightly, for her, in one of his wounds. "Get up and run " she ordered.

He made a half cough, half noise of pain as she punched him lightly, curling a bit before sighing. He looked at her seriously then pushed himself to a stand. It was obvious he was in pain but trying to push past it. "Where am I even running to.... I thought we were worried about being seen." he commented before just shaking his head before just running around the couch, wincing but still moving.

"Didn't matter" DH said with a sigh. "Idiot....come back or lay down. You'll go, just keep between me and Hexxis. " she said getting up. "It is a good thing you're the one carrying Tri if he doesn't want to come." not pointing out his reaction time was still really slow, he will try to go either ways she knew the type...she was the type sometimes.

Zaku slowed down to a stop then bent over to rest his hands on his knees, "Yeah.. okay.. I get it.." he muttered then gave a thumbs up to her even if he was somewhat doubled over trying to regain composure.

DH laughed softly even if she didn't mean to. He was trying so hard and it was cute when it really shouldn't be, someone else would still say he was a liability in that condition but... he did it and he didn't take forever to do it. He'll move faster when adrenaline is rushing through him too. "Just rest. I have to ...figure out how to sneak Hexxis out now.. Actually might have an idea but have to see if Hexxis can drive..." she said with a faint frown.

Zaku nodded, still focusing on pushing back the pain, before practically throwing himself on the couch to lay down. Rolling onto his back, he let out a long slow exhale. "Yeah..." he just agreed quietly, too distracted by his wounds to really formulate words.

"Sleep... don't go out and Wizard... eh..... ehhhh " she ran her hand through her hair thoughtfully then shook her head, still fighting off sleep really. "stay here too... I think this might mean the end of our contract with Mara... well ....official one" she said moving to the door.

Zaku nodded, taking another deep breath and closing his eyes. He found it surprisingly easy to fall asleep once he had settled.

"Rescue(Part 1)"

In the two days, Hexxis hadn't slept, only barely shoing any signs of tiredness but mostly out of some sense of boredom. She was currently playing with her phone, a flicker of a small smile on her expression that came and went quickly and every so often.

Zaku was relaxing, although would have preferred to be listening to music but that was out of the question as he just stared at the ceiling, glancing to Hexxis every now and again.

DH was mostly gone during those two day and Wizard stayed with the others but out of the way. He stared at the far wall either playing with a piece of wire or any random thing he found. Sleeping at night if someone stayed in the living room or barely at all.

DH returned the night before but was mostly gone the next. Reappearing with clothing that match the jail along with newly printed ID before disappearing again.

Wizard stopped playing with the wire and sent a sgnal to all three phones. -Inside-

Hexxis sat up the moment She saw the text, it's presence actually startling her slightly that she almost dropped her phone on her face. Flicking her gazebetween Zaku and wizard, she awaited the next step.

Zaku leaned forward, taking some time to even pull out his phone and read the message before looking at Wizard. He began to grin a bit, already having been ready to go for a while now and finally now was the time.

Wizard had moved to his feet as he searched and accessed the file on Tri.

Looking toward them he stared quietly.
-Pick up uniforms, change into what is needed but don't put them on yet -

Hexxis immediately moved to open her journal back up to the pagethat held the map of the facility. Glancing at it, she pointed to the cell that would be the number indicated by wizard. Hexxis stood, collecting the rest of her things, leaving the journal for last in case they needed it. She picked up the uniform meant for her and awaited instruction

Zaku nodded at the message, only peering over to take a glance at the map before 5sking up his uniform. He looked much better despite still feeling pain from the metallic nanites in his system. But it didn't matter, he was going regardless. He nodded at wizard, giving a faint nod.

Wizard joined them in changing, glancing quickly at the map as he saved it to storage before saving the other maps in the journal as well, encase they would ever be needed. Finishing up he moved to the door and waited as he adjusted the hat, not that it did much to hide his unnatural hair but that wasn't the reason he was wearing it, mostly it was because he wanted to see himself wearing the full uniform. Which he was doing as he stared at his reflection in the glass.

Some time later he opened the door and walked out as DH in her guise drove up in a car with military plates. Looking at them she focused on Zaku /Can you drive?/



Hexxis didn't even give Zaku the time of day to return the gaze, barely paying attention to him as she had meticulously avoided eye contact with Zaku while still always keeping him in her peripheral vision. She had been checking a small compact mirror to make sure that the contacts were working efficiently, still a little weirded out by the idea of changing her eye color with a small plastic lens in her eye. She looked up as she finally heard DH, moving to pick up the journal and put it in her purse as well, taking a quick look over herself to make sure she was dressed in the correct manner and moved after Wizard and Zaku.

Wizard waited until everyone was ready and lead the way outside closing the door behind them before joining the others in the car. DH looked at Zaku and moved to the passenger seat. "I get to act important... " she said with a muttered sigh

Zaku smirked a bit at DH's comment, moving into the driver's seat. He gave quick nod to DH, and then made sure everyone was buckled and secure before driving off for the facility. As they approached, he pulled into the employee parking lot and then looked back to the others. "Put on a good show, okay?" he smirked.

Hexxis was unamused.

DH smirked back faintly "If I go -this doesn't look good- you know we're pretty much in plan B then. Ah ha ..ha... eeehhh" she sad nervously as she took a deep breath and schooled her face into a stern and unamused look after casting glances at Hexxis in the back seat. //Protocol to taking out a prisoner is to have them bind. so handcuffs... rope around the wings... not indicating you know who he is until we get out. Now cross our fingers people and hope// she chuckled nervously as she got out of the car, the nervous look fading as she waited fro the other two to get out before heading toward the doors, pass in hand. Wizard stayed inside waiting.

Zaku gave a faint nod and stepped out of the vehicle, stretching a bit as he looked pretty casual about it all.

"Understood." Hexxis answered as she exited the vehicle and moved to Zaku and DH.

"Don't take your purse with you... leave it." Zaku commented with a serious tone, sliding his gaze to her.

Hexxis narrowed her eyes at him, "...you are not authorized to tell me what to do..." she spoke dryly, obvious that it wasn't a protocol of hers, but being belligerent with him.

DH looked back at them and raised a brow. //Leave it with Wizard. No certainty we will even get back to the car// mentally sighing softly for not catching that and asking Hexxis to leave that at the house. Safer than the car she just uh...borrowed for the person she was disguised as.

Wizard looked at them with a faint curious look

Hexxis nodded at DH, personally reluctant to be separated from her belongings but did so anyway for the sake of the mission, still wearing the clapless bell necklace as she slipped it under the shirt of her disguise. Returning to them, she walked with them both into the building, trying to give her face more emotion but it really wasn't happening as she kept watch on surroundings in her peripheral.

Zaku sighed, he didn't want to start a fight with Hexxis, but it seemed like she was the one who wanted to start it. He let it go, handled by DH as he went back to not addressing Hexxis directly. It pained him, but she really wanted nothing to do with him, and that was enough to give her that respect of space. He followed along, his mannerisms akin to someone who honestly belonged there, filling a role he played so easily.

DH moved through with a slightly bored look as she nodded to the guards and handed her pass.

Taking it the guard passed it and frowned, passing it again and even a third time before checking his own then finally checking it once more relaxing when it beeped. "Problems with the scanners, but your in" he waved them in to the next check point, which was for all metals and items improved with sigils.

DH moved to the other side and waited for them, a couple of people pass and looked at her but quickly looked away as they went on with their own business. Another set of guarded doors lead into the jail itself and their next stop.

Zaku and Hexxis had passed with badges pretty smoothly, but then they were faced with a metal detector and that's were things got a little rocky.

Zaku took one look at the machine and knew he wasn't going to pass that without some help. He used a little bit of luck (Good Fortune) to try to get the machine to break but even he couldn't do that, the detector going off in response to the nanites in his body. 's**t..'

Hexxis cursed in her head, but looked completely calm as they asked Zaku questions and eventually told him he could not pass. She figured if she could break the machine herself, that maybe they could get Zaku through as she focused on the machine. It began to flicker and glitch, actually causing the machine to mess up as she went through. However, the guard caught this sight of the problem and sighed. "We are going to have to check you manually." She nodded calmly as they used a metal detector wand to check her, the metal around her neck setting off the device. "Remove whatever is metal around your neck." he requested. Hexxis hesitated and removed the necklace, not sure what to do with it, if she had to go back or... "We will hold it here in the office until you return." he told her, giving it to another guard who then moved into the office to put it in a lockbox. She had a flicker of panic on her face that she quickly pushed back as forcefully as she could. Looking over to Zaku on the other side of the machine.

"Sorry, ma'am he's not getting in." he commented with an irritated look. She looked to the guard. "Did you get your license suspended..?" The guard looked at her with confusion as she took a step toward him, holding a softer gaze with him than she usually gave to anyone. "...no.. why..?"

Zaku quirked an eyebrow at Hexxis' question, not exactly sure what she was trying to do.

"Are you sure,... because I'm sure you drive all the ladies crazy.." she commented with a smooth voice.

Zaku blinked in surprise, absolutely astonished, and honestly was trying really hard not to crack up laughing, keeping the most stoic face possible.

The guard stared at her, taking a step back with an unpleased look. "You should go, unless you want to join your friend outside." he warned.

"Just go on ahead, I will wait in the car." Zaku spoke out, give a small smile to Hexxis and DH, before giving a small salute and heading outside. The moment he was outside, and far enough away from prying ears, he busted out laughing so hard it hurt his side. Well, that was interesting.

Hexxis frowned and nodded complacently and moved to DH to continue without Zaku.


DH had her fingers pinching the bridge of her nose as she looked at Hexxis then glared after Zaku. "What the hell was that about?" she exclaimed softly as she moved away from security, yet loud enough for them to hear. "If you two were so set on not coming just tell it to my face, you both know better. Lets go " she said angrily with a hint of disbelief as she went to the entrence, passing her badge again and being let through into the system itself. Normally they would have a guide but technically she should know her way through this, trying to remember the map she walked through as if she knew where she was going even as she scanned quickly around looking for where they are.

Hexxis frowned slightly and shook her head a bit in protest, to show she didn't mean it and bowed her head a little, moving to follow DH quietly. She moved just behind DH as she kept track of where they were going, and how to get there.

Zaku took a minute to calm down before moving off to find a post that was only guarded by one person, and levitated up to them, "Hey, I'm here to take over for you, go on break." he commented with a smile, Siren's Song taking affect as the guard nodded and moved off to where the break room was. After a few minutes, Zaku moved off as well to try to make his way to try to meet back up with DH if things went down to Plan B, keeping a safe distance for now as he waited, keeping within range.

"(rank) Farmer" some one said stepped right past the door as it opened and moving to catch up with them. "I was ask to escort you to the labs. One of the prisoners escaped, but we have them trapped. We sent a call but we were unable to reach you..." he said already moving toward the doors they just pass then looking back expectantly.

DH stared after him and mentally cursed. "I'll be right there" she turned to look at Hexxis. "Get him ready for when I come back" she said turning away and moving to follow the guard.

Hexxis nodded and moved off to complete the route to the destination, knowing exactly where to go, picking up the necessary equipment for the job before finally stopping at the door and scanned the badge then entered the room. She looked over to Tri sleeping on the bed, walking over to the bed and kicked the edge of it with a nudge to get him to wake up. "Wake up. Hands behind your back." she ordered calmly, waiting for him to move as she got the cuffs and rope ready to bind him.

Tri snapped his eyes open the moment she crossed the threshold and was already fully awake long before she kick the bed. Silver eyes with barely any glow looked at her tiredly but he moved silently to comply. Hands behind his back as he furled his wings in but not tightly yet. No emotion on his face as he waited for her to snap the cuffs on.

DH followed the guard her mind racing as she tried to figure out what to do. If they needed help she was likely burning this place down... and that wouldn't help their current mission but she would do it. She was already feeling guilty about not doing anything for the others here, so when a second guard walked over to them she was ready for worse news.

"We got him calmed down, binds are back and we're taking him back to his cell" There was a pause as the second guard stared at DH. "You move.... fast" there was a hint of suspicion in his voice but he shook his head. "Sorry for interrupting your morning. Your instructions worked and things are being moved. No casualties but it did give us a scare"

DH frowned and nodded. "Good, When (name)" she muttered the name off the tag. "grabbed me I thought there was more than what you mention on the phone" she said with flicker of concern.
The second guard relaxed "No, everything is under control. We're checking into what happened and keep you informed"

DH nodded "Do that" she said turning around and heading back the way she came, slowly since she was now just trying to get back to where she had originally left Hexxis.

Hexxis shoved back her emotions that threatened to push to the forefront. She had to bury them as deep as she could, even getting close to another break down was still met with an audible verbal warning she couldn't control and that would give herself away in a heartbeat. Even if that meant ignoring how broken her own father looked. She steadied her breathing as she cuffed him and began to tie the rope around his wings, securing him for when DH got there, refraining from saying anything more to him or even looking at him. It was too much to even do that as her hands were beginning to shake slightly.

Tri said nothing straightening only when it seemed that the guard had finished restraining him, shifting within his bonds a little to alleviate future pain by moving the bond a inch or so forward or back with some practice ease. Other wise he stared out of the cell toward the hallway beyond.

DH made her way there with only one missed turn that was quickly corrected with Wizard's help. One hand was on her phone as she kept walking, trying not to break it as she tried to stay in character at least being angry right now would be in character because that she was as she pass cell after cell of metas. Stopping in front of the correct one she looked inside, eyes narrowing slightly as she focused on Tri noticing a dull flicker of surprise as he recognized the person she was imitating but said nothing.

"What is he still doing here? I thought I told you to take him to one of the rooms" she said sounding crossed as she shook her head. "Lets just go, I spent to much time on this already" she muttered giving Tri a once look over before leading the way.


She refrained from speaking, only nodding to DH as she began to lead the way out, keeping a hand lightly on the cuffs and her other rested firmly against his back to keep control as they moved. She kept a close watch on anything that might hinder their escape from this point. Nothing appearing to get in their way as they arrived at the checkpoints out of the facility.

It wasn't until they reach the check point that someone stopped them.

"...(rank) Farmer... I don't have any paper wo- ah ... never mind. It just came in. " he muttered staring at the release form as it appeared on the tablet. "Just sign" he muttered turning it over so she could do so. DH opened her mouth to say something then sigh and nodded reaching out to sign quickly before letting go, not exactly coming any where close to how the original person signs it but it didn't seem like it mattered. Silently she moved to Tri's other side ready to grab hold of him if he tried to escape, but headed toward the parking lot.

Tri followed without resistance, his attention peaking only when it seemed they were heading out of the jail. Then turning calculating as it looked like they were heading out.


Hexxis kept her grip firm on Tri, moving out of the jail and completely out of the facility and into the parking lot. She kept her gaze focused away, she still couldn't muster the strength to look at him, to notice his changing expression, just staying held onto him.

Tri did nothing but follow along except he was more aware now and his wings just slightly pushing against their binds.

DH stopped in front of the car and cursed softly, where was Zaku?. Opening the door for Hexxis, she let her put the archangel into the car as she stayed nearby encase, casting a look around.

Tri narrowed his eyes slightly but said nothing.

Hexxis pushed Tri toward the car, moving a hand to rest on his head to make sure he got in the car without injury. She entered the car beside him to ensure he didn't escape now, sitting forward, eyes downward and still not saying a single word. She knew just by looking that they were waiting on Zaku. Hopefully he'd show up soon and this would all be over with soon.

Zaku was headed out when he was stopped by a patrolling guard. "...Hey.. (Rank) Wilson, you're not supposed to be here. Where is your commanding officer. I will have a word with her about you walking around like this unsupervised." they warned. "Ahh, I had to use the bathroom and lost her along the way. I know she's at the exit, but man, these halls get confusing no matter how many times I walk them... guess I'm gonna need some coffee, especially knowing she's going to chew me out again for making her wait like this. Hey, you think you could point me in the right direction... sorry about this.." he spoke smoothly, twisting his words within a sirens song to convince him to show him the exit. The guard sighed, "Alright, this is the last time I help you Wilson, you gotta get it together or they're going to can you. It's down that way, take the last left." "Thanks, you're a life saver, I owe you one." "Just get outta her before we both get in trouble."

Zaku gave a small salute and smile and headed out, heading out of the facility, albeit late as he jogged over to the car, grimacing slightly from all the movement. "Got him?" he asked DH as he reached her, leaning to look into the car to see Tri and Hexxis already in the car. "We good?" //What about Wizard?//

DH gave him an irritating look that had almost nothing to do with the disguise. She was still marveling at the fact they mostly got him out without incident only to mess it up here would suck. "In the car " she said curtly as she moved to the passenger side door and got in. //He'll meet us away from here. Go to (address) he'll be there// mentioning a road that was just out of government property.

Tri ducked his head and moved inside, the dull look back as he sat down uncomfortably on his lower wings, gazing at the two outside as if he didn't care. A flicker of life was back when the third person join and his eyes narrowed, he knew that voice, he heard it to many times already to confuse it so easily. Glancing over to the guard beside him and the other one who looked like (rank) Farmer trying to connect them.

Zaku smirked, "Alright, let's go." he commented, getting into the drivers seat and waiting for DH to enter before driving off to the address he was given. It wasn't long before he glanced up to notice they were being tailed. Zaku started laughing. "Wow, really... it took you idiots that long to figure it out..." he commented with amusement. Looking over his shoulder, he smirked. "Hope everyone's buckled." he spoke then focused on the road and floored it. He knew by now if they were pursuing, it was because they'd been found out. And trying to talk them out of taking them all in at this point was futile.

Hexxis showed a flicker of alarm as she hadn't honestly seatbelted Tri, and really wasn't expecting them to be in a car chase. Shoving away her anxiety about being in a speeding car yet again in her life, she reached over and pulled Tri in a laying position to rest his head in her lap protectively since there was no time to attempt fiddling with a seatbelt. But even now, was still avoiding eye contact or speaking, just holding onto him with a blank calculating mind.

"Zaku, you idiot" Tri hissed, awake and alarm as he shove his feet forward trying to brace himself from sliding or being thrown off the moment Zaku braked or turned. He felt the guard grab and pull him to her lap and he he complied not having to many other options even if it would not work that well. He still hadn't figured out who the two females were but if he was in Cord or Andy's lap...ugh.


DH didn't say anything as she brace herself, having spent the few seconds it took to buckle in and wa snow looking back throught he mirror at pursuit...darn it and they weren't out of government property yet. She snorted softly hearing Tri's exclamation but said nothing as she readied herself. Worst case she can do distraction... it was far enough that she could possible do that and still make it out, in the worst case. Actually....

Opening the window she summon a metal candle holder to her hand and let it go then summon another and let it go and kept going until she moved on to pots.

Zaku snorted, "Oh, I'm the idiot..? okay... I'd argue with you on that one, but kinda busy right now. Raincheck though, okay?" he retort, drifting around corners when he could to gain more ground from them, that with the combination of DH's candlesticks and pots were slowing them down, but not quite enough.

Her mind was calculating the scenario the best possible solutions. Focusing her thoughts to DH, she began to quickly formulate back up plans as they moved. //If it is necessary, I can teleport both you and I to fight them, giving Zaku a distraction to escape on. I would then be able to teleport us close to where we need to be and can meet them there.// she suggested, //Or I can teleport myself up to seven times via the shadows. Let me know what is more adequate solution to this situation.// She was still holding tightly to Tri, using the stability of her own seatbelt and her strength to try to keep him from being thrown around by the sharp turns.

DH kept throwing stuff back at them until they were out of sight. //Uhhhh// was her intelligent answer back to Hexxis as she turned left and right to get a better view behind them then during a clear stretch sticking her head out to look at the sky. //teleport? ..... you can do that?...right! get the collar off him! can you?// she turned to look back at Tri who was emotionless and tense, watching and listening to them even as Zaku confirmed his identity.

Zaku kept driving as fast as he could, making sudden turns until he couldn't see the pursuers anymore for a while, but was still unsure. Very gradually slowing down, keeping an eye out so they no longer looked suspicious.

//It's a shadow teleport... I can't unless I teleport out of the car... or into the trunk...// she shuddered at the last part before looking to DH with a blank stare and only the tiniest flicker of worry. //I can possibly get it off of him during a jump if I take him with me.//

//That was ...two separate ideas. Sorry// she muttered as Zaku started to slow down. The moment he did she leaned the seat all the way back and turned reaching out to them and grabbing Tri by one of his wings to pull him closer. "Don't move" she hissed as he jerked back trying to get out of her grasp.

"Wh-.."

"Does not matter right now!" she hissed back at him grabbing the collar around his neck with both hands and snapping it off. "I promise you Tri, if you run off right now.. Hexxis will chase you right back into there" she said grabbing both pieces and throwing it out the window only to spot 4 people on the wing heading in their direction. "Move Zaku. In the air"

Tri grimaced as bits of metal cut into his skin leaving tiny bleeding cuts but the collar as off. Pulling back he frowned at ...who he assumed to be DH if the strength was anything to go by. "I ...can teleport us " he said quietly, his voice going cold as he started to put together who the last person was.


Zaku glanced upwards into the windshield. "s**t, are you kidding me?" he cursed and sped up again, well, it would have been too good to be true to just get away. He was still trying to weave enough to lose them now.

Hexxis tensed as DH reached back and broke off the collar, watching beads of blood well up on his neck, her hands were beginning to shake as she forced herself to look away, but began to take his wounds, even if they were minor cuts. Only faint surface cuts appearing around her own neck. She listened to his suggestion to teleport and looked to DH for confirmation on what to do now.


"Do it " DH said tensely as flickers of her armor where starting to form just above her skin and slowly faded away again. "Do it now!" she said to him as she turned back to look at the people on the sky chasing them.

Tri didn't bother to look back, he reached out for the shadows in the area and pulled it to them, teleporting all 4 of them to the furthest spot his powers could find, appearing under the shade of a tree in a calm neighborhood a mile away from where there was now an empty car rolling and crashing on its own.

Zaku stumbled forward a bit as they reemerged from the shadows, not knowing when exactly it was about to happen before he regained his balance and turned back to make sure everyone was accounted for.

Hexxis stumbled as well and actually fell forward, not getting enough baring on teleporting at all to accommodate for the travel, also having been holding Tri and now not. She scrambled to her feet to move to Tri and unlocked the cuffs and untying the rope, then stepped back, looking away and dropped both items. "...keep moving..." she instructed dryly as she began to walk off toward the address they needed to go.

Zaku paused, watching Hexxis, frowning as she began to walk off, looking back at Tri. He moved to Tri, looking him over. "Are you okay? Do you need healing?" he asked, with a hint of concern in his voice despite his stern and serious expression.

Tri appeared as he was when they were swallowed up, laying on the ground as DH appeared sitting on the cement as if she was still in the car. He said nothing as Hexxis..he was pretty sure now it was Hexxis as she spoke allowing him to get a better ear for her voice, untied him.

Getting to his feet quickly he looked after her silently, confusion and anger warred within him as he clench his teeth and followed after her. It was pointless now to argue why they were there or why they rescued him when they were already out and he was not going to risk Hexxis getting captured just to return. Saying nothing he moved his wings in close trying to hide the jumpsuit he was wearing as much as he could. Turning to look at Zaku as he spoke to him, a flicker of confusion crossed his face at the concern but he shook his head not even glaring at him as he just ...followed Hexxis.

DH got to her feet and sighed as she looked around. "Okay ...Wizard will join us later. He's moving. Now where to get you to..." this time she looked at Hexxis and Zaku since..they had not actually planned this far. Getting to the apartment they had been at was key at the moment but if one of them had something better she was all for that.

Hexxis continued to walk in the direction of the location they needed to rendezvous at, already unbuttoning her shirt to just her tank top underneath and taking off the hat, throwing them both in the nearby trash and keeping on as she said nothing at all, just moving.

Zaku unbutton his shirt as he pulled it off and offered it to Tri. "It's all I can really give, but hey, better than the entirely orange suit." he offered quietly, trying to keep up with Hexxis and Tri as they walked off. He waved to DH for her to walk with them.

Tri looked at Zaku and frowned but silently but nodded taking the shirt and saying nothing. He eyed it for a moment before handing it back. He couldn't wear it, it wasn't made for wings and if he tried he would just have it hanging from them. Right now he was just trying to processed what has happened in the last 30 minutes since the gua- Hexxis just came.

DH stared after them with a look of annoyance. // Hi..... where are we going? Tri, Zaku... do you have any safe place here in norcrest they might not search? Walking around in part army uniform part escape convict in a neighborhood will get remarked so can we please stop walking and figure this out so we can leave faster? even if it is flying... //

"Oh, yeah..." he looked around to figure out where they were before pointing in a direction. "There's a safe house over that hill we can hide out at for now." he began to move in that direction.

Hexxis stopped, reluctant to turn around but she had to, the safehouse was not in the direction she was going anymore. Sighing, she turned around and began to move toward where Zaku seemed to be going.

DH nodded and silently turned to head in that direction, wanting to take wing but the people who were searching for them would likely have a better view of the city from the sky so staying grounded was their best bet for now.

Tri said nothing, reaching for a shadow that was approximately where Zaku indicated the house was he teleported all of them again just over the hill. He didn't want Hexxis to get into trouble...even so it seems she already did.

"Warning!" DH hissed stumbling as she tried to regain her balance as they reappear over the hill Zaku had indicated. She said nothing more, wanting speed over a slight discomfort and annoyance.

Hexxis stumbled again and fell down at the sudden teleport, growling under her breath as she took a deep steady breath, her face still blank. Pushing herself back up to a stand, she kept walking once more.

Zaku blinked, tripping a bit but catching himself as he looked over at Tri and DH then looked to Hexxis as she fell again. He frowned, moving to go help her up but she was already getting up. Sighing, he continued to walk, the house just a ways in front of them. Only taking a short time to reach it. Zaku moved to the side of the house to locate the hidden key, returning to open the door for them.

Tri didn't move to help her, didn't say anything just followed, wings held tightly against him still trying to block out most of the orange.

DH watched Zaku get the key and didn't relax until they were all within the house walls before she pulled out her phone and quickly sent a text. "He'll be here in a few minutes" she said looking up only to see a ticking time bomb waiting to go off between Tri and maybe Hexxis. Taking a moment to think about it she just shook her head, Tri was smart to get up to this point ...she can assume he wasn't going to run back to jail after what they had risked trying to get him out.

Once inside Tri looked up, eyes narrowed slightly as he frowned. "Why. Did you rescue me?" he said with a flicker of accusation in his voice.

DH narrowed her eyes back and opened her mouth but then closed it. Nope she was going to let everyone else who had a better reason talk.

Zaku took a deep breath, at least they were safe now. Although, the air was thick with a tense feeling, Tri and Hexxis acting off. Then the question came and he frowned. "Why the hell wouldn't-..." he paused as Hexxis turned on her heel, walking up to Tri to look him straight in the eyes and reach back as if to smack him but hesitated, anger and pain in her eyes, tears immediately building in them, holding her hand in the air for a few moments, shaking before she slowly lowered it in reluctance, biting her lip as she fought back tears and moved past him to go to sit in a chair on the side of the room. As much as she wanted to leave the room, go to a bedroom, slam the door, and sit against it... she knew that wouldn't do any good. Even in isolation, he still left her then too. It hurt so much and she didn't know how to make the pain stop, avoiding eye contact once more from him.

Zaku's frown deepened, looking from Hexxis to Tri, then sighing. "Because we care too much about you to leave you in a place like that...." he commented softly before looking worried and confused. "What the hell were you thinking going to them? What did you think was going to happen? Do you even know what you did??" he questioned, not all that angry but obviously disappointed. Sighing, he let it go before Tri could answer. "Nevermind... the point is, you were rescued. Most people appear more thankful that they have people who'd risk their lives to save yours. But I'm not here to judge you on what you see as a rescue and what you find a nuisance."

There was a flicker of surprise when Hexxis raised her hand but it faded to blankness as he stared at her silently, waiting for the blow to hit not even closing his eyes. A hit would do far more damage than she knew even if she was in pain. Watching her head to the side he frowned and turned to look at Zaku.

"You obviously are if you added that to your sentence. " there was a flicker of defensiveness in his tone as he said it. "Rescue usually means an unwillingness to be there. I went there willingly, I went there to do something instead of keep on running. Everyone other than Ree was fine and set. I wanted to do something that was not continue running! " There was a bristle of his wings before he tried to rein back in his emotion.

DH backed out of the conversation, moving to open the door and allow Wizard in instead then just keeping out of it.


"You do a lot of reading between the lines instead of just taking what the words are for what they are. So you willingly went to them, held in jail because you think everyone can just live their lives without you. Knowing you're in there and we are all out here trying to survive. Did you seriously think we weren't going to come get you?" he paused, frowning with a defeated look. "Do you really think that low of the people in your life that you think everyone would just... go on with their lives without you?" he asked sincerely. "You matter to people. We see that. I just can't understand why you don't see that...." Zaku sighed, trying to keep an eye on Hexxis from where he stood, the distressed girl sitting with her face in her hands and leaned forward.

"Yes. Hexxis decided to stay with a piece of s**t that makes her happy. While you were supposed to take this "opportunity" to leave with the twins and Ree is avoiding me and doing a pretty good job at it. I did not want to stay there jingling in that home doing nothing." he looked to Hexxis with a hint of guilt but then faced Zaku again feeling odd but angry. " I had a life before the fiasco that was Parley, I put family first but unlike you or Hexxis I worked with them or tried. " he put his right hand on his chest as he spoke before lowering it. "This was not a test or an attempt for attention this was me moving on with my own life as everyone else has"

"And how long do you think you were going to stay in that jail before they transfer you to Haven? Before they experiment on you or make you like Hexxis." he demanded before hesitating, to look at Hexxis.

Hexxis clenched her teeth. "Enough!" she hissed and stood, moving over to Zaku and shoving him away. "Stop antagonizing my father!!" she demanded back, glaring at him, a look that dared him to contest her. She then turned her attention to Tri. "They told Mara you were dead. They told me you were dead. And that was after they burned down the only actual home that I've had that wasn't a research facility. I'm sorry that I fell in love with a piece of s**t like Zephyr, but I did. I had something, and no matter what I do, it all keeps getting ripped away from me." she had an intense anger in her eyes as tears spilled down her cheeks. "We argued before because I was too selfish to consider your feelings. Well you don't consider mine either. If you didn't think that I wouldn't come after you like this then.... then why do I even try anymore..." she commented, her throat tight and she swallowed back a lump in her throat. "I just want you to be happy and safe... but if you are so adamant on returning to the people who made me the child that couldn't feel when you first saw me, then you go right on ahead and hurt me like I hurt you. Because I've run out of options. I cannot make you happy no matter how hard I try." she clenched her hands, trying not to break down crying right there, her whole body was shaking by then as she hesitated then turned to Wizard. "...give me my purse... I'm leaving.."

Zaku was shoved back and blinked at her but didn't challenge her as she laid into Tri.

DH looked at Hexxis silently "You promised Mara" she said quietly. "Walking out now is not a good idea. "

Tri stared after her then just looked...frustrated. He didn't bother to even respond because neither of them understood, SIU was not haven, he had not gone to Haven when he turned himself into Norcrest, it was a hope that if they allowed SIU they would either send him back there or something similiar. If he had wanted safe and sound he would not have help make SIU...something even Zaku seem to have forgotten. Looking at Hexxis he frowned but ..for once it was hard to feel sorry for her, Zeph didn't even bother to hide so it was not surprising they found him and with him ...her. "Where are you going?"
Wizard held out her purse from where he had the strapped held tightly in a fist.
