Arete shrugged "This place is creepy, you said. The holes give them a reason to renovate once they stop being mind controlled," she stated. She glanced around as the alarm went off "So what? Knock all them out? We may just be better getting away from the servants and looking for the knight and that queen lady," she suggested.
"Oh come now, you can come up with a better deal than that..."
Katherine just looked at Arete "well i would suggest that...but they seemed to get up from being knocked out before...so doubt it" she stated sighing "na...someones coming to us...probably the woman whom was pissed at us for barging in..." she said as she would already be back in the human form she started in. within a few seconds of this someone would come running into the room only to have multiple spears flying at the duo Katherine of which would create her blade and swing to redirect the ones at her. "quite an entrance....you want her?" she asked "she looks like a knight..."

-Illusion Display- inherited from her family clan she has the ability to create illusions, including being able to create a false body to everyone around her, IE her human form. she tends to use this for her bounties and her limits are only the fact of her size. she can not turn into something bigger than her but she can do smaller. the illusion is so powerful that the illusion is manifested into a solid state as if shaoeshifting, but is based off the mind(thus illusions) -Weapon Creation- She has the ability to create weapons but due to the lack of practice she can only create one weapon which is her long body length blade, she tends to keep it out but she can make another when the other breaks, besides this she can't create much. -Fox Flare Blade- she can consume her body length blade in a black and blue fire that she can manifest, rather than just creating flames and firing them, she tends to keep them attached to the blade, the blade when makes contact with an enemy burns them yet can not burn her. she can control how much flame is on the blade making it big or small. -Soul Ammo/Reload- In her gun she doesn't use real lead bullets rather she uses consentrated soul particles for her gun, its just as effective as normal bullets except that it can pierce any shields created by magic or soul energy, yet against normal shields it gets stopped. she has a total of 8 shots with each time she uses this gun, and it takes her a bit to reload(a full post of not shooting) to fully get it loaded again. -Fox Shot- much like her sword she can add her fire to her bullets, and much like the sword can be controlled of how strong the flames will be. the bullets are much like the typical bullets she uses except that they add fire damage to every hit, and if she puts enough fire in a bullet, they can catch completely on fire. -Smoke Field- one of the main reasons she smokes is that she can control abit of the smoke that comes out of the cigarette and by this she can expand it so much that the entire area around her fills up with thick smoke arena which can be impossible to see through, the only way to find ones way around is if they can smell or hear better than most or can see souls, which even then finding their way in navigation is almost impossible. -Grace of the Tree- she has the ability to heal her wounds, of course she can't heal wounds such as lost limbs or injuries that would kill in seconds, but she can heal fast, if she heals a mortal wound she will remain injured in such a way that it leaves a scar unlike her other wounds, and the wound will still feel pain. she gains an aura of a white glow when it is activated. -Mark of Lumen- each member has this ability, its shown from the symbol placed on their body, her's is placed the back of her hip hidden from most eyes. this mark allows the Lumen to locate each other as well as talk to each other telepathically, of course for any of these effects to work they must be within a 100 feet of each other.
Arete's gaze shifted to the attacker, her prosthetic hands began radiating with energy and her wavelength rose. A forcefield made of her wavelength formed around her, causing the spears to ricochet off of her. The forcefield lowered and Arete got into a fighting stance "Sure. She seems interesting. We want her alive or dead?" she asked, eyes beginning to glow a deep blue-green color.
"Oh come now, you can come up with a better deal than that..."
Katherine chuckled "good then shes all yours" she stated before she would start to walk off to the opposite door "well she appears to be the knight so...thats completely up to you...theres still a chance that she may be under some influence...but its your fight...just don't lose" she said before she would leave the room still connected to Arete through the mark. "now to find this queen" she stated. the knight would hold up a shield and a sword both seeming to look like spears connected to one another "i'll handle you first...then i'll rid that shifter" she stated before Tossing her sword up and kicking it at Arete having it come at her fast, when it got close enough it would explode into multiple spears that seemed to conduct electricity to one another.

Arete nodded at Katherine, now fully focused on the fight. She didn't even talk to the knight. Arete sent up another force field to block the knight's attack. At the same time, the two gauntlets spend outwards and launched at the knight from either side at insane speeds, aiming to slam into her. Right after that, Arete launched the force field outwards, causing it to charge towards the knight, aiming to have that hit her as well.

Katherine would keep moving following the direction and scent of where the knight came from where the slaves went to, she would eventually find herself in a throne room Whistling out loud signalling she was impressed. "wow...this queen sure knows how to decorate a throne..." she stated outloud "thank you, i pride myself on my servants work...may i ask who you are and why you bothered coming here i assume for my head" a woman on a throne seat would speak, her legs crossed and her hand holding up her head from the one arm rest. "the reasonings not important...but...names Katherine...pleasure to met you, i hope you find these last moments interesting" she said taking a smoke out and lighting it, taking a breathe from it and breathing it out "Smoke field" she muttered with it in her mouth only to have the smoke begin to thicken up and spread quickly almost instantly making the entire room impossible to see anything the queen rose an eyebrow "hmm...just because i cant see you doesn't make it any easier to kill me" she spoke in a sighed tone. soon a voice from behind the queen would come up "oh...its not to kill...its just how i play my games...now...i have some drinking im missing on...and im sure my lil recruit is bored out of her mind" Katherine stated before firing her gun at the queen, the queen quickly jumped out of the way, but her face was grazed from the gun "quicker then i predicted...how did she get behind the throne so quickly" she muttered "because this is how i play my games" katherine smirked before she fired again this time hitting the queen this time in the shoulder, the queen bursted into flames only to spead her wings flying upward "h...how...what are you" again behind the queen the voice came, "just a ol gal whom loves to hunt" soon the queen would feel a kick in her face having her flying at a wall going through it
when the guantlents came at her she moved her hands to both sides having her palms stop them despite the speeds she was about to throw them back at Arete but the force field would charge at her hitting her backwards into a wall "spear field..." she muttered before creating a spear stabbing it into the ground when she did the ground would shake having spears stab upward all over the room at the same time including where she was. the knight was used to taking pain and it was clear the woman had some superhuman strength especially to stop the gauntlets but it was clear she needed her hands to fight back thus she couldn't stop the field or avoid it.

The gauntlets quickly flew backwards away from the knight. As spears came out of the ground, Arete's eyes glowed as she built up her wavelength. Suddenly a large shockwave burst from her and outwards, shattering the spears around her. As the shockwave made a path for her. Arete took off, running at the knight with extreme speed. Her hands suddenly turned deep blue and she balled them up, aiming to punch the knight. The metal on her prosthetic hands reacted with her wavelength, creating a plasma that coated her hands which meant that if the knight was hit at all, whatever part Arete's hands touched would melt from the plasma.

The knight would keep her serious expression despite the ease Arete seemed to handle the spears from the ground. soon she would charge at the knight seeing this the knight would create a shield made from the spears holding it up to block the hit, the hit would knock her back but she would stop before hitting the wall the shield she held up seemed to dissolve immediately after blocking it well rather it barely blocked it, as it was dissolving instantly after the hit she would toss it down discarding it. soon electricity would come off her hands, she would slam her hand against the wall, having the electricity flow from the wall to the floor to the remaining spears in the ground having the electricity flow at arete quickly to shock her. the next thing that would occur was the wall between the two burst having the queen flying out hitting the opposing wall breaking it "m..my queen...what happened" the knight stated running to the queen and helping her up despite being in the current fight, from the wall she came from one could see the light of a cigarette, only to see two different colored eyes glow from above the small light, after this Katherine would walk in taking the cigarette out of her mouth flicking it away "oh...hey Arete...having fun yet?" she asked before putting another cigarette in her mouth putting her finger to it lighting it with her blue flames "need any help or should i continue my fight?" she asked before the queen would glare at Katherine "yo...you monster...your not human" "never said i was...also i don't like fighting someone whom wont fight back at all so start fighting back" she sighed

Arete froze suddenly as she was hit by a current of electricity. She glowered before her wavelength increased. Her gauntlets positioned themselves, the metals in them acting as a conductor so all the currents of electricity went towards them and not Arete. She took a deep breath then and stood up straight before glancing over at a distracted knight and the woman that was on the floor. The queen she was guessing? She heard Katherine then and looked over at her "Kind of boring... Tempting offer but I think I can handle it on my own," she replied. Her wavelength increased, her prosthetics humming and heat began to rise from them. She suddenly slammed her hands down into the ground, a shockwave running through them. Fractures began appearing in the ground followed by blue plasma that came from Arete's prosthetics, melting the rock and making more plasma. The shockwave as well as wave of plasma came rushing towards the knight.

The knight would get hit by the shock wave being thrown outside of the castle along with the queen thanks to them being near each other "how dare you attack the queen and not repent" she yelled before glaring at Arete, the queen slowly got up having her energy flow upward showing her using the soul to power up "ohoho...does this mean i'll get a challenge?" KAtherine stated chuckling taking a breathe from the cigarette "alright...try to enjoy yourself then...im hoping mine will be fun as well" she stated before spinning her gun on her finger. The knight would stand up her clothing like armor seemed to be affected by the plasma as it was starting to deteriorate from it, she would great yet another spear but it was bigger than the others, she would point it at Arete, having it break apart in her hands the parts that broke off seemed to fly around it getting faster and faster "Tempest Jolt" she called out having a blast of energy come out about half the size of the knight flying at Arete "this is your repentance" . meanwhile the queen would disappear nd appear infront of Katherine holding her palm at her, the moment this occurred Katherine would almost instantly fly backwards back the way they came "it doesn't matter what you are, you will die just as quickly" the queen stated before she woulf turn to the knight "finish her quickly...we have other matters we must attend" with that she flew after Katherine, by the time she would reach Katherine she would be hit into the ground from above having her create a formation where she hit "so you can move that fast...where was that hiding" Katherine spoke spitting blood out of her mouth yet still smoking her cigarette.

Arete rolled her eyes as the knight yelled her little spiel about attacking the queen. Anyway, she watched as Katherine formed her attack. Arete clasped her hands together, the plasma building up as well as her wavelength. As the knight launched the energy blast at Arete, she created another forcefield, a big one, combined with her plasma. The blast slammed into it, it seemed powerful at first but eventually the knight's attack began to deteriorate in power. Eventually both the forcefield and the energy blast cancelled each other back, Arete skidding backwards slightly in the process. She released a breath then before holding one hand out. Hundreds of energy orbs made of her compressed wavelength appeared around her before launching at the knight, splitting into different directions and coming at her from every angle.

The knight would toss the lance at Arete when the attack finished. soon Arete would aim to create orbs and send them at her. when this happened she created two shields using them block as many as she could, getting hit by quite a few of the orbs, when this happened she fell on her knee having multiple injuries from the fight, "yes my queen....i will end this as fast as i can" she stated to herself before standing up slowly, soon her soul would begin to rise giving a small red glow around her body "Berserk rush" the knight would then disappear from aretes sight only to appear in front of her aiming to stab her with a spear but it wasn't just one she would thrust the spear at Arete quickly allowing her to strike multiple times in succession.
the queen would struggle to get up as Katherine was holding her down with her foot on her head "your....going.....to regret....defying...me" katherine just laughed "really...because based on how this looks...it doesnt seem like defying...since you cant do any better then hit me in the chest" she laughed before spinning her gun in her hands "now...lets return to that expression when you caught on fire shall we" she stated before pointing the gun at her again firing the gun hitting the queen in the back having her catch on fire again screaming in pain "your knight looks tougher than you" she laughed before the queen would glare at her "i said listen to me...repent, bow to me...let me go so you can be punished" the queen stated her eyes glowing. Katherine sighed "that trick doesn't work on me...i'm a master of illusion...my mind tricks others...it can't be tricked..." katherine smirked "t...then your either a demon or a...kit..." she would be stopped in her sentence by a sword being stabbed her her head "now now...don't spoil the fun for everyone...lets keep that a secret shall we" she chuckled "the queen can manipulate minds Arete...meaning that knight may very well be under the influence...might want to hurry up and get all the fighting you need...because this queens weak...i'm only keeping her alive until your done fighting..." Katherine stated "that knights the strongest person here...enjoy it" KAtherine chuckled as she kept the pressure on the queen so that she couldn't move.

Arete quickly moved out of the way of the one spear that was thrown at her. She kept a defensive stance as the knight seemed ready to attack her again. Suddenly she disappeared and reappeared in front of her. Arete managed to evade the first strike though she was grazed slightly. Arete suddenly used her own speed to lunge and grab the spear with her hands mid thrust. The spear began melting as it came in contact with the plasma on her prosthetics. Meanwhile, one of her gauntlets launched at the knight, aiming to come at her from her right side and slam into her hard.

The knight would keep trying to attack, but would stop when the girl grabbed her spear and melted it, the next thing she took notice was the gauntlet hitting her in the side sending her straight through the wall, coughing up blood the knight would keep trying to get up, falling a few times as she tried it wasn't just the attack it was also the berserk she used since it took a bit of her energy out. eventually the knight wouldn't be able to stand and would be glaring at Arete, meanwhile Katherine was just dragging the queen back to the same room the fight was going on in "nice...i'd say she wont be getting up....well...time to end this then" she stated before throwing the queen against the wall throwing her sword right after peircing the queen in the heart, "here...let me put you out of that pain" she stated before shooting the queen in the head. when this happened the knight would scream in pain holding her head, which would be followed by multiple people yelling mainly the servants Katherine held her ears due to her better hearing it hurt abit, when it finally died down the knight was passed out. "sooooo...want to get some food before we head back?" she asked puffing a blow of smoke from her mouth
"...If not we will remain at an impass, you want cheap i want proper"

-Illusion Display- inherited from her family clan she has the ability to create illusions, including being able to create a false body to everyone around her, IE her human form. she tends to use this for her bounties and her limits are only the fact of her size. she can not turn into something bigger than her but she can do smaller. the illusion is so powerful that the illusion is manifested into a solid state as if shaoeshifting, but is based off the mind(thus illusions) -Weapon Creation- She has the ability to create weapons but due to the lack of practice she can only create one weapon which is her long body length blade, she tends to keep it out but she can make another when the other breaks, besides this she can't create much. -Fox Flare Blade- she can consume her body length blade in a black and blue fire that she can manifest, rather than just creating flames and firing them, she tends to keep them attached to the blade, the blade when makes contact with an enemy burns them yet can not burn her. she can control how much flame is on the blade making it big or small. -Soul Ammo/Reload- In her gun she doesn't use real lead bullets rather she uses consentrated soul particles for her gun, its just as effective as normal bullets except that it can pierce any shields created by magic or soul energy, yet against normal shields it gets stopped. she has a total of 8 shots with each time she uses this gun, and it takes her a bit to reload(a full post of not shooting) to fully get it loaded again. -Fox Shot- much like her sword she can add her fire to her bullets, and much like the sword can be controlled of how strong the flames will be. the bullets are much like the typical bullets she uses except that they add fire damage to every hit, and if she puts enough fire in a bullet, they can catch completely on fire. -Smoke Field- one of the main reasons she smokes is that she can control abit of the smoke that comes out of the cigarette and by this she can expand it so much that the entire area around her fills up with thick smoke arena which can be impossible to see through, the only way to find ones way around is if they can smell or hear better than most or can see souls, which even then finding their way in navigation is almost impossible. -Grace of the Tree- she has the ability to heal her wounds, of course she can't heal wounds such as lost limbs or injuries that would kill in seconds, but she can heal fast, if she heals a mortal wound she will remain injured in such a way that it leaves a scar unlike her other wounds, and the wound will still feel pain. she gains an aura of a white glow when it is activated. -Mark of Lumen- each member has this ability, its shown from the symbol placed on their body, her's is placed the back of her hip hidden from most eyes. this mark allows the Lumen to locate each other as well as talk to each other telepathically, of course for any of these effects to work they must be within a 100 feet of each other.
Arete rubbed the cut on her side with an annoyed expression as both gauntlets floated back to her and attached onto her prosthetics. She rolled her shoulders slightly, still keeping an eye on the knight up until Katherine killed the queen. Her wavelength finally lowered then and she stretched slightly before Katherine came back over to her. "Sure... also please finish that up. That smoke gives me a headache," she told Katherine.
