Personality profile:This girl clownfish is the first of Silver Angel's Betas. She is a result of the second breeding between Graceangel's Amythest and Mistress_Ice's Malila. Pretty clownfish~ heart
Since Iris was separated from her parents at a young age, she doesn't know very much about her family; and also because she was my first Beta, she was not familiar with many other Beta. She is slowly but surely taking steps to come out of her shy personality and blossom into a sweet, friendly Beta.
She likes music, especially Maaya Sakamoto, and often hums or sings to herself when she thinks nobody's listening. She also enjoys caring for and playing with children and loves the sound of their laughter.

Personality profile:'Tis Zane! whee He's lovely.
Zane is relatively cool-tempered for such a hot Beta. He has a flair for the flashy and loves music with a beat you can dance to. He's always listening to some kind of music, from classical to techno. His taste in people is much like his taste in music. He's not too picky as long as it sounds interesting. Since he has a relatively upbeat personality, he tends to dislike music with dark, depressing themes.
Although he wants people to think he's a dancing stud, he's actually more of a poser than he'd like to admit. He doesn't like people to think he doesn't know as much as he should. To hide this fact, he'll usually ask someone to dance and then imitate or improvise on what they do. He has recently been practicing glowstick tricks. He would rather listen to music than dance to it unless he's with a good dancer he can mimic.
His three offspring with Pink Floyd are his son Daft Punk and two daughters, Glowstick and Pop Rocks. Although he was intimidated at first by Pink Floyd's seemingly harsh and uncaring personality, he soon discovered that the wild Beta could be quite the opposite. Long story short... Zane has the hots for Pink Floyd. Since being with Floyd, Zane has mellowed out from the aloof poser to a free-spirited, easy-going glowstick raver who doesn't care who's watching when he dances as long as everyone's having fun.

Name details: reflects the mood under which she was thought up
Personality profile: heart Sigh is a sweet, sentimental Beta who can't seem to get her head out of the clouds. She daydreams of that special Beta who will sweep her off her fins and say sweet nothings in her ear, and someday carry her off to a faraway castle to make her his mate and live happily ever after.
What's funny about this little princess is that she can be quite oblivious to the affections of some Beta, while she may get herself worked up and speculate endlessly about the true feelings of any Beta she comes to be interested in.
Although she knows it's shallow, she can't help but be attracted to pretty Beta, thinking that the inside must match the outside. She's trying to learn not to judge a book by its cover, or a Beta by its scales, and get to know a Beta first.
So far, she has been observed to like these things:

Name details: named after my real-life female betta, Amaya Sanyu; Amaya = night rain, Sanyu = happiness
Personality profile:Sanyu Amaya is very energetic, a little eccentric, always hungry, and a very aggressive eater. She is very skilled at scavenging in pebbles for leftover food. When the mood strikes her, she likes to chase things. She's a little jumpy and easily spooked, but is not afraid to fight when provoked.
Nicknames: Sanyu, Amaya, San-sanThe real Amaya Sanyu, female betta splendens, approximately 3 years old, passed away between 3-6-09 and 3-7-09. Cause of death was thought to be suffocation or starvation due to bacterial infection which attacked her gills, skin, and possibly her internal organs.
Amaya was vibrant and feisty, always came to greet me when I approached her tank, and always knew when she was going to be fed. On occasion, I got her to chase things that I pointed at her from outside the tank. She was a voracious eater up until her illness, and a skilled swimmer with great maneuverability.
Amaya Sanyu was first bought from PetCo on December 7, 2006. She was an only betta and is survived by myself, her owner.

Personality profile:Megumi is a Limited Edition Naughty elf Beta! Kishara decided that I'd been naughty enough to merit one of these. I got to pick gender and a couple colors and/or a theme. I decided on a female with a sakura theme, and indeed, I got what I wanted. Wait, but that's not how Christmas coal's supposed to work, is it?
Who knew being naughty could turn out so nice? whee
Megumi is one of those Beta who are delightfully sweet on the outside but have a dark, creamy, sinfully naughty center to them. Sure, she may seem innocent and generous, but who knows when that naughty streak may pop out?

Personality profile:In Chinese folklore, there is the concept of an invisible red string which ties two destined lovers together. No matter how far apart the two people may become, the red string of fate will never break.
Destiny fancies herself a matchmaker and loves to make suggestions to people she thinks would make a good couple. She doesn't push her opinions on anyone, though. She is a bit of a hopeless romantic, and in spite of her gift, she doesn't seem to be particularly in tune with her own love life.
Let's just hope she isn't too busy with the red strings of other people to notice the one around herself!
