There was something unreadable in his expression as he regarded the man across from him. Slowly, the pressure of his fingers against flesh reduced until his hand was gone completely and Labyrinthite stepped away. The smirk had slipped away and his jaw was clenched, like there was too much passing through his mind in that moment.
He stepped back again, until there was enough space between them for him to turn with his cloak billowing in the slight breeze behind him.
Though he no longer faced Wolfeite, his voice was clear when he spoke in that raspy way of his. "Good boy." There was an absentness to his tone, with his chin tipping up and whiskey-gold eyes lifting to look at the moon instead of the half-beast behind him.
His arms came to rest behind his back carefully, bare fingers wrapping around the wrist of his gloved hand. "You've done well, I'll allow you to choose what we do next."

Whatever test Labyrinthite had set for him, he'd passed, which Wolfeite found pleasing. His breath ghosted out of him as both the general's hand and the general himself retreated back a few steps, his back turning towards Wolfeite.
A grin unfurled itself across the half-youma's face, sharp and eager. He banished it after a few seconds, resisting the urge to step up behind Labyrinthite and keeping the distance between them purposefully, his tail flicking snakelike behind him, twitching back and forth.
"I want - "
Too much. Too much he wanted, from Labyrinthite, to violence, to starseeds, to crushing Order beneath his fingertips until they bled out. Wolfeite drew in a breath, sharp in the evening air, and felt the chill of adrenaline chase its way through his veins.
"I want to fight."
And by that he meant I want to rip starseeds.

Labyrinthite had moved far enough forward that the ball of his feet hung off the edge of what intact parts of the roof remained. He rocked slightly onto his heels, weighing his options and choices. It wasn't hard to know what his wolf wanted when he said he wanted to fight.
The idea of purposely misunderstanding was tempting but instead he nodded sharply, cast a glance over his shoulder.
There was the pulse of order on the edges of his senses, an aura he was sure his companion could feel too. It was not as loud, encompassing as Labyrinthite's but still present enough to be of interest.
"Very well," he agreed, cocking his head towards the tug of order aura. "Lead the chase, but do not disappoint me." Or you'll be punished, went unsaid but still as clear as if he had.
It'd been a long while since he'd seen his half-breed in battle against a senshi, perhaps it was time for him to observe.

He could indeed feel the Order signature; a blatant, disgusting blot of sterile white in the darkness. Wolfeite tasted the air like a hound would, his ears flattened back against his dark hair so that every part of him was tense, strung as tightly as a bowstring.
"Yes," Wolfeite hissed, eagerness lacing every thread of his voice. "Sir."
He knew the consequences. He knew the potential outcome should he fail, and he both wanted and didn't want it - the yearning for blood and for violence was more than his desire for anything else at present, however, save for the inexplicable and often loathsome desire to please Labyrinthite.
And right now they were tied together into one unbreakable knot.
The Order signature was down below, to his right. Wolfeite stepped up onto the parapet beside his general, the wind gusting past him, a light breeze. He let his senses overtake anything else, and crouched down, one gloved, clawed hand resting on the edge of the wall. The wolf inside of him was more present than ever, sharp teeth and trained body, ready to attack whatever prey was below.
There.
There was a snarl, a snap of teeth, and Wolfeite leapt.

Labyrinthite knew.
Of course he did. He knew his wolf well enough to understand the twist and conflict of his desires. He could see it in the slightest twists of his expression and it pleased the general to know that Wolfeite hated every ounce of it, almost as much as he craved and wanted all of it too.
In the end, there would be something given to the captain.
He preferred to reward rather than punish, but what Wolfeite would get would depend on him. So, when the wolf leaped Labyrinthite descended after. He would land gracefully a few feet away and watch, prepared to intervene if needed.
But the pest was someone inconsequential, a lower rank and in the end, no match for the wild aggression of his half-breed. A low hum of approval left the general's lips as he came to stand behind the captain, pressing his hand against the small of his back. "Your technique is sloppy, but we can work on that. Otherwise, you did good pup."

It was a heady, thrilling rush of violence and intensity; of broken bones shattered under his hands and blood in his mouth and a broken body beneath him, a starseed held in Wolfeite's hands by the time he was finished, his chest heaving.
It was exactly what he had wanted.
There was scarlet streaked down the side of Wolfeite's left cheek, the mask tangled around his neck, eyes glowing with the rush of it all. He felt a pressure on his back, Labyrinthite's fingers pressed against the small of it, and sucked in a sharp breath, looking down at the starseed glowing dully in the palm of a gloved hand.
The praise was intoxicating in its own way. Wolfeite closed fingers around the starseed, dragging from him the very basic need to inhale the orb, to feel the crunch of energy under his teeth.
But he turned, slowly, and offered it up to Labyrinthite inside, his eyes glittering, because giving up that addiction and that side of him; taming him in one way was necessary to get to where he wanted.
"For you, General."

Were he not trying to curb the starseed addiction threatening to overtake the captain, then Labyrinthite might have let him keep it. Might've let him chew on the gem as a treat, a reward in it's own right. Instead, he plucked the starseed and closed his own fingers around it. From there, it was placed in that pocket of subspace where he could keep things.
Something saved for later, either to be consumed as needed or to be offered to Metallia in place of the stores that had been stolen from them.
He would decide later, for now there were better things that required his attention. He dug fingers into the back of Wolfeite's uniform, stepped closer to crowd his space.
Labyrinthite had leaned forward, mouth not too far from a furred ear. "Would you like a reward?"

He watched as the starseed disappeared beneath Labyrinthite's cloak, Wolfeite's expression hungry behind the golden eyes. But he restrained himself, deliberately, and made no motion to reach after the glowing orb, his body rigid with tension and the effort of holding back.
It was getting easier to refuse the addiction. It clawed at his chest, sank its hands into his body and tried to pull the need from him, but Wolfeite swallowed it down until there was nothing left, until he could focus on something other than the taste of ash in his mouth.
Success, after all, was a much sweeter reward.
Labyrinthite was in his space, pushing against him, mouth to one of his ears. Wolfeite felt the tremor all the way in his feet, chasing its way up and down his spine, and he made a sound in the back of his throat like a low growl, his pulse racing.
Too eager, and Labyrinthite would not give him what he wanted. It was important to know the balance between the two.
"Please," Wolfeite whispered, and there was a muted hunger in his voice, tamped down for the sake of the general, whose fingers he could still feel gripping the back of his uniform. With anyone else, it might have been humiliating - and with anyone else, they would have lost their hand.
Labyrinthite was not anyone else, and they both knew it.

Labyrinthite enjoyed gauging the reactions of others when he crowded their space or put them into a situation that would yield different results if it were someone besides himself. Wolfeite often was his favorite to do this to, because the reactions left him hungry.
His head dipped, breath warm against what bits of exposed flesh there were. He appeared to hover, contemplating his choices before pulling away. His hand shifted, moving to grasp a lean hip instead. It didn't take too much effort to use his grip to twist his companion until he faced him.
Labyrinthite reached for Wolfeite's neck, pushed the handkerchief down until it pooled around his collarbones. "Very well," he said, voice dropping to something deeper, more heated. His thumb came to rest beneath Wolfeite's jaw and Labyrinthite used it to tip his head back when he leaned in and pressed a hard kiss to the wolf's mouth.

It was always the same, especially after a fight, for Wolfeite; adrenaline ran thick and heavy through his veins, heating him from the inside out, and he had never wanted for anything intricate. All of his needs and desires stemmed from the most basic of instincts: need and hunger and greed, along with a strong desire for self preservation and violence.
He could feel Labyrinthite's breath on the scant inch of skin beneath his hair and his collar and it made his own breath quicken. A hand was on his hip and then Wolfeite was dragged back, spun around, his eyes glowing and heated, an eagerness that was rarely seen flickering across them.
Firm fingers gripped his jaw and Wolfeite's hands came up, digging fingers into Labyrinthite's upper arms, a sigh of pleasure and satisfaction escaping against the general's mouth. He pressed himself hungrily closer, ears flat against his hair, feeling almost giddy with the relief of being given what he wanted.
"Thank you," Wolfeite breathed, a low, ragged sound from the back of his throat.

Wolfeite's body pressed against his own was something Labyrinthite was familiar with and in the end, there was something akin to pleasure that traveled through him as the captain impressed himself further upon his general. There were pricks of barest hints of pain from where fingers dug into his arms, but he liked that.
Few things made Labyrinthite feel much of anything, yet - Wolfeite certainly brought something to the surface.
There was a low, dark chuckle that rumbled from his throat as he was thanked and he dipped his head, pressed his nose against the half-youma's throat and let his lips graze skin. "Do you want more? You've done well today, I think you might deserve it."

A breath escaped Wolfeite, his head tilted back to allow Labyrinthite access to his throat. His fingers still held tight to the general's arms, digging in, but not enough to rip the fabric - that would have been too much, Wolfeite deliberately restraining a part of himself that was eager for more.
"Yes," he growled, and it was taking every instinct not to snap now, his chest tight, pulse skyrocketing. Above them, the moon was wide and bright and silvery, and he could taste the scent of blood and fresh air and everything on the tip of his tongue.
Wolfeite's hands slid up Labyrinthite's arms, drew past his shoulders, skimmed his neck and caught his face between his palms, his breathing uneven. There were few who gave Wolfeite what he wanted - and Labyrinthite had been, so far, the only one to expand the world that Wolfeite wanted, hungered for.
I will break you and then remake you.
"Please," Wolfeite said, and then covered Labyrinthite's mouth with his own.

His grip was fierce, strong and possibly bruising from where it held Wolfeite's hip. The amount of pressure was carefully applied with the grip on his neck and Labyrinthite's lips parted until it was his teeth that pressed against skin instead.
He did not get to bite down as he would have liked, with the captain's wandering hands drawing his face away.
Despite himself, the general kissed back more eagerly than intended. He had meant to pull away, scold his subordinate for daring to think that he could leverage any amount of control in their dynamic but -
Instead, Labyrinthite used his strength to back the captain into one of the building's walls. He stepped over broken bottles and kicked stray garbage as he did, then he braced himself with the hand that used to hold Wolfeite's head in place.
With something to keep the half-youma in place besides just his hands, Labyrinthite deepened the kiss with his mouth opening slightly and catching Wolfeite's bottom lip between teeth.

It was dangerous ground, he knew, treading this path. Dangerous and illicit and exciting all at the same time, because Labyrinthite could so easily have cut his head off instead of having his teeth set against Wolfeite's neck, and maybe that was the reason why it was so necessary now. Labyrinthite had a way of making everything sharper and fiercer, violently so, and it was a part of him that Wolfeite craved.
His feet scuffed against the ground as the general pushed forward, and Wolfeite's back hit the solid brick wall of the building behind him. His fingers gripped tight to Labyrinthite's face, body pressing against body, pinned into place by the lean, solid weight of the man in front of him.
It was a heady, intoxicating rush. He shouldn't want it as much as he did, but the need was too much. Wolfeite had no emotional connection to anyone, but Labyrinthite had tied him down and now he was chained to him and he couldn't help himself.
A muted groan escaped Wolfeite's throat at the scrape of Labyrinthite's teeth. He was breathing heavily by now, his eyes wild as he looked at the general, chest heaving and his face scant inches away, thumbs sliding along the man's jaw.
There was a question in his eyes, along with a hunger.

He liked the fierceness, the desperation, of the kisses. It reminded him that he'd taken this volatile man and broken him, made him craved the things that only Labyrinthite could give him. His smugness over that manifested in the smirk that he gave the other man when their kiss broke.
Labyrinthite wedged a knee between Wolfeite's legs, a dark brow arching in response to the unspoken question.
He knew what the half-breed wanted, but he was going to make him ask for it before he'd trouble himself with any sort of answer. Instead, he would taunt and tease. Entice.
He pushed against Wolfeite, licked his lips and cocked his head slightly with that pesky smirk still stretched across his mouth. He went for Wolfeite's throat again, nosing down what fabric was in his way and sunk his teeth into the skin.
