The wolf girl got away but she was spent, the bones crushed as she laid there in a heap. She knew that if the girl were to live let alone keep the leg, they'd have to get a tourniquet on it and get away from here. Which meant that by a strange twist of fate that she would have to leave the walker to recover if she wanted to save the wolf girl.
Zeph left the walker unconcious but unfortunately alive as she left to attend to the wolf girl.

The bony tail mare came to her and tied a piece of cloth around her leg so tight that she screamed again. Something about stemming blood loss. She was asking her name, telling her to talk. "Joramun," she got out finally as the other mare pulled her up. The mare was small but sturdy and she was moving Joramun along faster than she thought possible, faster than her pain wanted to permit. But the whispered urgency that broke through the fog in her mind made her fight to keep her three good legs going though she felt faint and sick.
She was shivering, but the mare kept egging her forward
