When he got quite she wondered if she shouldn't have asked about his family. She was about to speak up and apologize and say perhaps she shouldn't have said anything but then he finally spoke. "There isn't anything wrong with that. Not everyone is close with their siblings. My brother raised me since our parents aren't exactly in the picture...." She said allowing her voice to drift off for a second. Should she tell him about them? She thought about it for a second but then let it be. She would just avoid the topic for now. Perhaps he'd leave it be as well? "So my nephews are almost like brothers to me." She said thinking about that for a second. "I know that sounds a little weird and all that, but we function well enough so I guess I don't care if it sounds too weird?" She admitted then with a grin. "Enough talk about family though. I don't want to cause you any discomfort. Or we can talk about them, I just... It seemed you didn't really want to talk about it too much." She wondered if that sounded rude? It was too late to take the words back now but she figured if he was offended he would say something to her about it. She shifted her wings nervously against her side.
