"She is a good girl," Algie at least agreed on that with a small smile. He did have a soft spot for her. "I think she's done a bit of work for everyone. She's a remarkably hard worker.."

Even if sometimes it was a bit uncanny. It was one of the least suspicious things he'd found in this town.

The implication that he could do her wrong had Alg tilting his head. Mostly because he hardly viewed himself as trouble, a threat or anything besides a superficially grumpy lump of a man, "I wouldn't do anything bad by her, I assure you."

His brows lifted, Renard's comment sounding to his ears a bit like a threat. Of course it was a useless one as he didn't intend on treating Kally badly- but it sounded threatening all the same.

"Yes of course." A receipt was printed out and slid along, quoting the price total.
