evangelineXXX ►student || reserved and sweet ►Evie entered her room and timidly looked around. Much cleaner than my old room... Lots of decorating potential, too. she thought. I'll probably have to meet my roommate soon. I hope she's nice. Evie's stomach churned at the thought of having to share a room with somebody who hated her. It would be much easier if her roommate liked her, or at least left her alone. Being constantly badgered and teased by somebody wouldn't be the best way to end her school years.
Evie looked out the window at the campus. It would be pretty cool to teach here. Such a nice campus, and all the kids I know are pretty nice. She smiled, her heart swelling at the thought of being a teacher. It had always been her dream to teach English, literature, or anything with reading and writing. She brushed her hair behind her ear and slid her hands out from beneath her sleeves. She was beginning to sweat beneath her knit shirt. She chalked it up to nervousness and took a deep breath. She smiled gently, trying to psych herself up to meet her roomie, and began to unpack her things. There was soon a small pile of clothes on the floor, and a pink hairbrush sat at the bottom of Evie's bag. She picked it up and ran it through her hair until it was soft under her fingers. She's just gotten a haircut before orientation began, and she was still shocked at her hair's transformation from dry and floppy to soft and bouncy. She even felt lighter when she walked.
The haircut was yet another part of her attempt to be new. Evie had endured a hard few years, her freshman year in particular. She'd fallen into a state of anxiousness and ennui, where nothing would satisfy her or make her happy. She made a few bad choices during that year, and she prayed that she could let her past go and grow into a new girl. One morning, she woke up and realized that she could revamp her whole life. So, that's what she did. She sold over half of her clothes and bought all new ones with her savings and some help from family. She began eating healthy and had conformed to a pescetarian diet and was working to be vegetarian. She picked up journaling and had even begun to write a book. She worked to be kind to others, since she'd been mean when she was sad. She stopped drinking and smoking, and started sleeping more. Everything was working, except her attempt to be sweeter. She could still be downright rude, and she hated herself for it. She promised herself that she'd study extra hard and be extra kind this year. She'd have to be sweet to her students, anyway, if she was going to be a teacher, so why not start now?

JαdεXXXXXXX ►Student / Rebel  ► Orientation may have been a week away, but that didn't stop Jade from leaving home early; if you can even call it that. Home is where the heart is, and her heart had long since departed the wastelands of her house. Her parents were drunks, and although they weren't necessarily abusive, their repetitive neglect wore her down and she wasn't putting up with it anymore. She grabbed the last of her luggage and walked out the door, heading to the bus station with her bags in hand.
When she arrived at the campus, she was surprised by how many students were still lingering from the previous semester. Jade passed through Lotus Hall and sat on the steps of the Main Pavilion to get away from the noise as students and staff alike chatted inside.
She popped out a cigarette, lit it and lied on her back, looking up as the clouds rolled by. She hadn't even checked her email yet, so she didn't know where she would be staying the night. Nor did she care. In this moment, it was her, the chirping of nearby Hermit Thrush birds, and the sky. She inhaled slowly, savoring the flavor of her cig.

Dr. Agnes WallaceXXX ►Teacher/ Assertive yet gentle ► Agnes sighed, relief heavy on her breath. Her last school had unexpectedly shut down, leaving her no where to go. She turned to look at Max, her German Shepard. "Well, Max, I'm heading back to work soon! Hopefully these women are just as friendly as the last school." Agnes pushed some strands of hair from her face and gazed out the window. Her office was visibly messy, an obvious sign that she had not spent much time at home. Agnes had been job hunting, traveling all over the country looking for the perfect school. She had never heard of Lotus Academy, but applied anyway. All good schools must start somewhere. Making institutions better was a passion of hers.
I hope registering classes won't be a pain. Agnes sipped her hot tea and continued to gaze out the window. April, her husky, padded towards her and nuzzled her left leg until Agnes pet her neck. "What is it, honey? Can you sense the change of winds already?" April snorted cutely and licked her lips, an obvious confirmation.
"Oh, look at the time," Agnes exclaimed as she glance at her watch, "I've nearly forgotten to feed you. That must be why you're being adorable." The trio walked into the glamorously white kitchen. It was evident that Agnes enjoyed cooking and entertaining. Hopefully I can invite my students over for dinners. I should read the Code of Conduct carefully and ask permission, just to check.
"My darlings, in one week we start a new chapter of life!" Both dogs snorted and jumped slightly, wagging their tales. They too, could sense the positive atmosphere brushing the negative dust away.

💼 Prof. Waka 💼XXX ♢♢♢♢HISTORY PROFESSOR // PERVERTED OLD MAN 
♢♢♢♢ Prof. Waka stood on the rooftop of the dorms and looked down onto all the beautiful female creatures coming and going below. He pulled out his handy binoculars and focused in on one of them.
"Ooooo, what a naughty little girl. Even from here I can tell your skirt is above the appropriate length. Tisk tisk."
He drooled.
At least the dorm roofs were mostly off limits to any of the students, and most of the staff avoided the area as well. It was nothing much really. Just an empty rooftop with various fans and vents. It was useless... except for the vantage point.
Prof. Waka moved onto another target. This girl was not in a short skirt. Pity. There was a bit of a breeze and a chance at seeing some panties was always welcome.
Inside, he knew it was wrong to watch them, but he didn't care. Something about watching all these angels gave his live purpose. It was the only reason he had decided to become a teacher. To get closer to his darlings... and their still perfect bodies.
He couldn't wait for classes to start up. The clubs too. He was going to love this new school. Hopefully none of the old maids would figure him out this time. They were just jealous anyways... they wanted his attention but it was all for his little angels alone.

EriXXX ►..►..►..STUDENT // ODD & REBELIOUS  ►..►..►.. Eri made his way to his assigned room and knocked on the door lightly before entering.
"Hello..."
He called out just to give the anyone inside the chance to cover up anything they didn't want seen. He always tried to avoid the awkward stare. It might not be so awkward for a girl to walk in on another girl... but he wasn't a girl. At least not really. On the outside it would be impossible for anyone to tell that though. Eri had worked long and hard to perfect is facade. He wasn't going to blow it.
Hell... he hadn't gone by his real name in nearly a year now. It had been tough at first, but had become second nature at this point. If someone ever did use his real name, he probably wouldn't even recognize it.
Eri walked into the room, trialing a rolling suitcase behind him. It held everything he had brought, which wasn't much. The bag slung over his shoulder carried his writing materials. His babies. He never went anywhere without them.
He eyed his new roommate, who didn't seem all that bad. She was cute anyways. Wait.... was that a good thing or a bad thing?
"I'm Eri."
He held out his hand in greeting.
"Looks like we're living together."
He smiled sweetly. Lay on the charm, he thought to himself. Better to make friends than trouble.

Jax XXX ►Student / Withdrawn ► Jax's cell buzzed three times, signaling an incoming email. She furiously dug through her bag searching for it and quickly scanned the message. Yes, acceptance!. Recently, she had sent in a number of applications to high-end, competitive academies in lieu of recent events at her old school. Her eyes fixated on her roommate's snapshot. Hmm, no name here. Jax had an uneasy feeling that she new this person, but she always thought that about new people. Being constantly afraid to let people down or forget something she always pretended as if she had already met them.
"Right, I should pack now..." She sprung into action and scurried around her parent's flat picking up various items of hers. Packing wasn't really an issue, most of her things were already in bins and boxes. As she whirled around a particularly precarious pile of bins one fell and relinquished its contents: a "Woods Preparatory" jacket tumbled across her naked feet. A visible shudder traveled through Jax as she moved to place the jacket into the waste bin. "Good riddance," she muttered.
[time skip, now Jax is at Lotus unpacking her car with parents]
"Mom, dad, I love you both. Can you let me take my things in by myself? It's time I made friends without you holding my hands." They exchanged guarded looks but obliged and helped their youngest child load a trolley cart with boxes. Everything she owned fit onto one cart. Hugs and goodbyes were exchanged.
Now to my room with my mysterious blue queen roommate... Jax shaded her eyes as she looked up at the school and began to slowly push her things forward. Her parents honked as they drove off. Glancing around she saw many students chatting, as well as professors. She thought she spotted someone with blue hair, but quickly turned the other way. I'm not ready to meet anyone just yet. .
After getting lost twice, Jax managed to find her room. No one else's things were in place yet. She claimed the area furthest from the door and began to slowly unpack her things.

Jade finished up the last possible puff of smoke and flicked away the remainder of her cigarette. She sat there a few moments longer when her cell phone chimed. She whipped out her Blackberry cell phone and flipped through her cluttered email with disinterest.
Upon one of the many emails with time-sensitive information, she found her assigned roommate. The chick had wicked hair and piercings, and Jade couldn't help but smile. Maybe this one will last longer than 2 weeks? She tried to remember the last conversation she held beyond two sentences. Was it last time she saw the Dean about the attendance policy? Maybe it was that rally to fight "No Smoking" zones on campus? Whatever the case, it had been a while. A small part of her wanted to actually try this semester, by working hard and making friends... but the admirable thought soon passed and she returned to her apathetic self.
She begrudgingly sat up and surveyed the court yard. Most people were just passing through, no doubt prepping for Orientation the next day. Jade stifled a mocking laugh at a small family trio that was obviously lost. The mother was wielding a campus tour map, the father was getting red-faced from anger and the heat, and the daughter was messing with her hair and phone in oblivion. What a sight to see.
She glanced at her Blackberry once more to see the assigned dorm: Petal Breeze Dorm, Room 10-A. Right next to the stairwell? Great, all hail the social outlet that is the stairwell dorm room. She rolled her eyes, grabbed her bags, and made her way towards the student dorms.
Jade picked up her dorm key at the front counter and ascended the stairs. As soon as she exited the stairwell, she could hear shuffling inside the adjacent room. This is it, she said under her breath. She lightly kicked the door open and cocked a smile that hopefully shielded her nervousness.
"Jade," she offered. "I, uh... believe we're roomies."

Nearly everything was unpacked. Jax twirled about the room and clutched her skirt.
The door opened and in the door way was her, the blue queen. She introduced herself.
Jax took a deep breath and gently fiddled with her piercings, "I'm Jacquelyn but I prefer Jax."
Jax looked Jade up and down, to take everything in. This won't be so bad after all... she seems very nice and nervous. Maybe I should offer to help?
"Do you need help carrying any other bags? This is all I have but sometimes people have more. I don't have a problem helping out at all..." Jax blurted all that in one breath, so her words blended together and then trailed off. Her face grew a pink hue as she realized she was being a spaz again. She slowly sat down onto her gray bedspread and withdrew herself. s**t, I'm never this nervous. Why is she, Jax snuck a glance up at Jade making me feel this way? Is it because we're living together?
