Aleksy jerked a thumb outside, where Asimov Ducret was painting a topless woman with an airbrush. "You, too, can live your dreams of having a Pokemon airbrushed onto your tits. I will abstain." His bandages were permeable to water. Also, the thing Asimov was airbrushing was definitely not a Pokemon, but like Aleksy was going to look that closely if he didn't have to. "I refuse to be raffled," said Aleksy, sitting up straighter. "if I am to give up my time to re-enact some d***o's concept of dating I will be compensated." He looked at Thorne, considering his next words carefully. "I know what I am worth." He ran his thumb over Finn's knuckles, Finn's class ring glinting on Aleksy's thumb in the light. He groaned at Finn's drink order. "You disgust me," he said, but he didn't let go of Finn's hand. "He cannot drink like a real person. He drinks beer. For children."

"I ******** hope so, or the fact that I lost my shirt jail-breaking your boyfriend will have been for nothing," Thorne retorted, his expression wicked, verging on something amused and cat-like. He pressed his knuckles to his cheek, biting at one of them before dropping his hand. "What in gods name is that," he added when Finn ordered his own drink. Mostly because of all the things Finn was, smutty didn't seem like one of them on impressions alone and a drink based on the guy seemed even stranger. "That's something I'd pay to see," Thorne retorted, his voice low and rolling with amusement. His eyes flicked to Aleksy and he gave a slight scoff of amusement, rolling his shoulders slightly before adding a response. "More, by far, than that drink," Thorne responded at length, his expression raw with amusement. "Or however much this place is making off of it." He looked up at Finn and raised his brows when Aleksy ratted him out as a lightweight but his smile was warm and the laughter that followed was easy. "And you?" He added to Aleksy. "Have you tried and failed to teach him how to drink respectably?" Thorne wasn't about to go into his drinking habits in front of anyone. He'd had a wild ride during Academy and enough nights s**t-faced to know his limits. They were high, but easy enough for him to exceed given a bar and enough time. And he had more than enough time tonight.

Of course Finn noticed Aleksy and Thorne's chemistry - it was impossible to miss. While he tried not to be the jealous type, he wasn't exactly pleased that his boyfriend seemed to have a better rapport with someone who was just a friend than with him... but Aleksy was still wearing his ring. "It's a thing," he said about his drink order. "A good thing." Both their teasing be damned. "Life's too short to drink terrible things and pretend to like them," he insisted. Vodka was macho bullshit, no more and no less. "Besides," he said, fluttering his eyelashes at Aleksy. "I'm not forcing it on anyone else. At least I'm polite enough to keep my bad taste to myself."

"My attempts to educate have failed," he said to Thorne, his frown brief, sincere, and entirely affectionate. Aleksy let Finn's insistence that vodka was terrible slide, but only because Aleksy loved him. He rolled his eyes and didn't let go of Finn's hand. "I pretend nothing. You may drink your smutty drink, and I will drink…" A long-haired youth dropped off Thorne's rainbow ice and Aleksy's coke. "…A soda," sighed Aleksy. Only one of them was consuming any alcohol, and it was the one with no taste for it.

"I believe you," Thorne retorted, deferring, his smile amused. He shook his head at the mention of drinking terrible things and pretending to like them and laughed. "I've tried more terrible things than I can count and gotten trashed off of most of them." He paused, in actual consideration of his words. "I think." "As for being polite, you'll have to make up for the rest of us, it seems," Thorne added, laughter in his tone. "Especially your boyfriend." He glanced sideways as the soda came, followed by an outrageously rainbow dessert and there was a carnivorous grin across his face in the matter of a heartbeat. Because if there was one deadly secret to Alexander "I'm going to bake 200 cupcakes at 2AM and no one can stop me" Thorne, it was that he loved sweets. His wolfish smile tilted in Aleksy's direction before he dug in, expression wicked. "How tragic," he said, biting the edge of his spoon, pleased by the taste of sweet ice. "Your life is in shambles. First soda, what next?"

Finn wasn't really sure what Thorne meant about being polite and he wasn't sure he wanted to find out - it didn't seem terribly complimentary. He swallowed his jealousy down again, eyes back on Aleksy's hand in his. He was sure he looked possessive - dangerously so, maybe, depending on what Aleksy had told other people about him - but Finn wasn't sure what he could do to dispel that. Or even if he wanted to. "He still has me," he said lamely, a retort to Aleksy's life being in shambles. As if Finn counted as not being such. He felt very much like the third wheel here.

"I shall doubtless end my days in shame in a Siberian monastery," said Aleksy glumly. He squeezed Finn's hand, gently, and frowned around his glass of coke. "Finnsha? Of course I have you." Aleksy didn't do public displays of affection, even on Pride, but he was concerned and it showed in the furrowing of his brow. "I am only joking."

"Hello boys." Borr was suddenly looming over their table with his 'ripped rainbow abs' t-shirt and a very impressively sparkling beard. He may also have not realized someone left a giant red lipstick kiss mark on his cheek but he was looking particularly rosy cheeked due to all the hitting on him that had been going on today, in jest or not. "Everyone going to mind their limits tonight??" Borr winked pointedly at Thorne. "Feeling better Aleksy?" He was glad to see he and Finn together here for once.

Thorne was well aware of Finn's claim, and his expression flashed with amusement at the Siberian monastery comment before out of nowhere Borr appeared. Borr, who had seen him probably the most drunk he'd ever been in Ashdown (publically, at least.) Thorne cringed openly at the pointed stare, grin roguish and guilty. "Hey now," he retorted, "I'm usually very responsible. You just caught me off guard and lured me in with dogs. And tonight I'm not even allowed to drink." He cocked his head, eyes roving Borr head to toe to tally the damages done to the man. His laughter turned infectious, downright dirty. "I'd ask if there's any chance you can help me relocate a shirt," Thorne said, his voice dipping into a mischievous purr, "but I feel like the only thing that happens around you is a sudden loss of shirts instead."

Finn leaned across the table, holding his doffed park service shirt out to Thorne. "Here," he said. "Put this on. I've got a whole box of 'em back at the office." Once the genie was out of his bottle, he didn't go back in so easily, apparently. "Borr," he said, turning towards the newly-arrived interloper at their table. "Why's the Gay Russian on the drinks menu but not the Smutty Park Ranger? I feel left out. Like seriously. I'm hurt." And he hadn't even had any alcohol yet, if anyone could believe that.

"I've minded my limits," said Aleksy into his Coke. "I am minding them very hard." Don't mock him now, Borr. Now was the worst time for mockery, because Aleksy couldn't even drink vodka. He was a shadow of himself. Aleksy looked from Finn to Thorne, suddenly very interested in whether Thorne was going to take Finn up on that offer or not. "I believe a Gay Russian is an actual cocktail," said Aleksy, chin on his good hand. "Doubtless it is disgusting."

Borr's cheeks were pink at Thorne's commentary on lost shirts. "There's also plenty of Darlene's T-shirts.. and some pride shirts. The money goes for charity-" He gave all the shirtless men at the table once overs. "Shirts on for a good cause." Borr chuckled, "It is a real drink. A bit like a white russian. Not that your park ranger isn't real-" The large man stroked his beard as he usually did, only to then frown as his hand got covered in glitter and he was smearing it on his jeans. Judging by the amount of residual sparkle this motion had already happened a few times. "I didn't make up the drink menu today though. The gals did." As well as Dhan and Nasir putting together the menu. Borr had the amazing job of tasting everything and giving it final approval. Only the best jobs for him. "I'm glad you're better though," Borr said it with genuine affection and care to Aleksy, "And that you're following doctor's orders." A wide finger was wagged at everyone at the table, "Be safe boys. It's all fun and games until you lose your shirt, pants, socks and dignity." As if he knew from some very specific experience.
