She really hoped this game wasn't hurting the fish. It really was fun, scooping them up. She'd have to suggest this game to Niall.

Casey was happy to tag along silently behind his sister and their cousin really. Hawke did enough talking for the both of them most of the time, he never felt a need to add anything verbally.
He moved a little away from the girls and looked down at the fish curiously wondering how hard this would actually be. As his poi dissolved almost the instant he swished it in the water he realized it'd be very hard.

He frowned and took hold of a new one, settling it into the water and hoping to do better this time, than last. He frowned as this one dissolved on him too as he moved it towards the fish.

He took a deep breath and held it as his third poi touched the water and he moved it towards the fish, trying to be as careful as he could. Except he wasn't careful enough apparently. The breath he'd been holding was let out silently, and his shoulders slumped in disappointment.

Back to the fish tank! He had fun with this game last time but that mostly because he'd thought at first that the game was one that meant for winning snacks. He found himself thinking that all of the fish now knew about that because he was unable to get any fish during his first attempt at scooping one of the out of the water.

No luck during his second attempt either. The fish were quick to evade him, fleeing to the other side of the tank and away from the seviper boy. It was likely that they all knew now that he'd tried to eat some of them yesterday... they likely knew that he wanted to eat them now as well. He wouldn't, of course, but they just looked... tasty! A shame that they weren't snacks to be but he was sure he could find other snacks around the festival if he looked.

Three attempts, three failures, it would appear that the fish weren't having any of Gideon this time around. It caused the serpent child to give a bit of a pout. That was too bad, he was really hoping to catch at least one of the tasty little morels. Next time, perhaps? For now though he meant to find himself something to snack on that wasn't able to evade him.
