Her brow creased in confusion and Eros slid a quick glance at Quartz for hints about what she was supposed to say.

"A few months, general? I can't... say that I do. Which agents and corrupts were taken? I wasn't involved in anything like that, I never get involved in hassling the Negaverse, but maybe I heard something side long... or I could ask around about it. I just need some details to find the right incident..." She said, hoping it was the right thing to say.

She didn't remember hearing about any abductions, but maybe? It'd be easier if she knew who had been taken... maybe where they had been held, since it sounded like they had been rescued, or something. There wasn't anything she could do about not knowing, but if finding something out secured her safety, then ********. She'd put on her PI hat and get to work.

Quartz was ordered to put away his weapon and Eros felt a surge of relief for the reprieve. This woman wasn't going to kill her, at least at the moment, and she could work with that. She had an urge to rise herself, but after a moment's consideration... maybe it would be better to wait a little bit.

Eros' initial confusion had Xenotime's lip curling in impatience and disappointment, but she caught herself before the expression could fully manifest. Drawing in a long, steadying breath and letting it out as she allowed the senshi to continue on, offering to do whatever she needed to find any information she could on the abductions. It was a start, and Quartz directing their little informant, showed promise.

The general nodded to herself, apparently satisfied for the moment, and continued that languid walk around the tall captain so she could circle behind the senshi. "They were being held at a prison. Agents, corrupted senshi, even Dark Mirror senshi, if the rumors are true."

She was a little hesitant to give names, on the chance Eros was playing both sides, though it wasn't as if those that had done the abducting didn't know who they had targeted. "Ochre, Amphitrite, Jet, to name a few." Here she would look to Quartz, curious if the captain knew some of the others that had been taken.

"Who orginized the attack is important, but more than that, I want to know how. How the hell did they manage to hide a dozen chaotic auras from the entire might of the Negaverse for as long as they did." The last was ground through clenched teeth, and her fingers hand curled at her sides again. It took effort to relax them again, but they carried none of that tension as she reached out to catch the pretty senshi's chin again. "Find this out for me, and I will give you my personal protection." Which meant it wouldn't just be Quartz she could call upon for help, but Xenotime as well, and any agent under her lead.

Quartz rolled his eyes at Eros. "Rein it in, Lisa Frank," he chided half-heartedly. Not that it was his personal business, but from a professional standpoint, he considered it unwise for one of his informants to get too close to other Negaverse agents, particularly ones that outranked him. If she developed individuals relationships with them, they might ask her to do too much too fast, to serve their own interests -- and that would make it hard for Quartz to ensure her safety and profitability in the long term. And if someone like Xenotime got too attached to the little flirt, and decided she wanted her dressed in black after all . . . it could be hard to dissuade a Negaverse agent once they'd fixed their desire on having something. Informants were hard to come by; Quartz didn't want to lose this one.

"See if you can make a connection with a sailor soldier named Aegir," he told Eros. "He's your starting point."

Quartz looked back to Xenotime, careful. "Is there anything else, General -- or are we dismissed?"

It was a deliberate inclusion, treating Eros as a soldier under Xenotime's command as much as Quartz was: hopefully treating her this way would help reinforce the idea that Eros was a valuable cog in the Negaverse organization, and that she was best left just where she was.
