in the darkJeremiah had got that feeling again. A shiver up his spine that had nothing to do with the chill. Right at the same time that he heard Algie yell out 'Think fast!'The detective ducked down just in time for a book to go sailing over his head and hit a lamp, casting the room into faint darkness. "Jesus ******** Christ, Alg. We're not that drunk!"

in the dark"Speak for yourself." He drawled with a snort and sipped his glass again. It took a moment for him to register until Jermiah shifted and the light through the hall door hit him and his eyes shined like a cat. Algie actually jolted, surprised as he saw it, "JESUS."

in the dark"Okay, fine, we are that drunk, but could we not destroy furniture? At least let me be a little more ..." Jeremiah trailed off and blinked as he looked around, head tilting. The world looked a little too- Algie's exclamation had him looking over to him. "Alg? What is it?"

deadly weapon"I'm not a practice dummy," he growled, reaching out and taking the remote away and throwing it onto the table. Jeremiah's hand reached out and grabbed Algie by the wrist and tugged at him. "You can actually wield a book like it's a weapon, Alg, and I apparently can just take hits like it's nothing. It's -" He flicked his free hand in the air. "I don't know what it is but I know I need another drink."

deadly weaponAlg chuckled when the remote was taken, letting himself be tugged to sit back. He shrugged, probably should have been more surprised than he was but at this rate magic bullshit was normal. He turned to distract Jeremiah with a kiss, pinching his side, "So long as you can still feel-" The other then leaned away to pour his lover another drink.

in the darkWith a sinking feeling of dread, Jeremiah went towards the small wall mirror. It was bad enough that the world seemed far more illuminated that it should have been given the room was cast into faint darkness ******** me," he said, blinking as he looked at himself in the mirror. His eyes were illuminated, a faint ring of blue visible and surrounding a luminescent color. <******** me," he repeated.

flowers for algernonAlgie would find Hellbine waiting, very patiently, outside the room as class came to an end. The small cat was, very primly, sitting there and waiting. Pointedly ignoring anyone that was not the professor.

flowers for algernonAlg usually waited around and talked to a couple students before the room finally emptied and he packed his books and papers back into his bag. Most wouldn't even notice the tiny cat sitting there but as the professor closed the classroom door, the white cat stood out. He didn't often actually see Hellbine out of the house because he was off visiting people he didn't live with. "Hellbine-" He crouched to scratch the tiny cat, "Visiting me?"

in the dark"I think it's just ..." Jeremiah jumped at the butt pinch and then growled at his spouse. Every time, he got him with that every time without fail. He turned and put an arm around Algie's waist, spinning so that he had him against the wall. It was not as seamless as it was normally, a little wobbly because of the alcohol. "Very concerned about how this is going to affect me during the day," he said, leaning in close to nose along Algie's jaw. "Lights don't have to be on all the time, I think." With no light hitting his eyes, if Algie turned to look, his eyes were dark and normal. "... though I think I can see in the dark now." He was taking this well but that was probably because this seemed small fries compared to, you know, the entire being damage resistant.

in the darkAlg's arms went around Jeremiah's neck, fingers in his hair. His eyes, this close up, were shine free. He scratched through his lover's hair as he was nuzzled, tilting his head for it. "Don't know how I feel about that either. I like that when the lights go out, everything turns off." It helped him shut down. Alg certainly was glad he couldn't see in the dark.

flowers for algernonHellbine let out a small, also prim, mew. Yes. This was a very important duty. He pushed up into Algie's hand almost insistently, not purring but clearly he was there for him. He was pushing so that his fingers would slide along his head and along his collar.

in the dark"I'll just keep my eyes closed," he huffed, turning to finish nuzzling his lover's cheek. Jeremiah's arms went around the other, keeping his face turned away from the light and just there in greying hair. The scratching fingers had him pressing closer. "Or you can figure out ways to turn my mind off like I turn yours off," he murmured, giving the other a squeeze and then he groped Algie's butt. Have to one-up that pinch.
