"You have kids t'watch," Alexis chided, lips curving up in a subtle smile as Hux touched their leg. Surprisingly gentle, for such a large man: they liked that. "I don't do it when I'm startled anymore, but I can still break people." It wasn't anywhere near a threat. "I prefer to walk too, yeah? It's a nice city, lot of things to take in." They pushed off the bench, bending down to check their laces, swallowing the last bit of jerky.
"I'll be around. There's a place a few blocks from here -- Spiral? They're relatively cheap. If you want to hang around the place tonight, around ten or so..."
Well. The raised eyebrow made their offer clear.
"Got to get back to the run, though. Tell the kids they're cute for me."
And Alexis took off -- just like that.
