"Well..." Amaya thought for a moment, having only eaten half her salad. Though she was still feeling a little anxious, so it was understandable. "There's the entertainment room, it has a TV and videogames and stuff in it. Beyond that... well, I'm not sure." She ran one of her large hands over her head nervously, the spines folding back under it's weight before standing back up.
Damn, she was probably getting off track. As much as she wanted to stay and talk with the nice woman... the girl knew that right after she finished the rest of her salad she needed to run back out and look for Colche.

Bobby looked from her own meal to Amaya's, only thinking partially on what the girl was saying. Crying out loud, what DID happen with her food? The casserole was about 2-3 times larger, and Amaya was about three quarters of the way done. Shrugging to herself, the woman thought it just might be comfort-eating, although she would have prefered to do that with ice cream or something.
"I will definately check those out... maybe one night when can get a few girls together and have a 'girls night out' or a sleepover!" Bobby laughed, she hadn't done anything like that in years!

Amaya couldn't help but smile a little. Even though she hadn't had any real good friends back on the mainland, that didn't mean she had never been to a sleepover. "That'd be fun." She voiced timidly after another bite of her salad.
She had eaten most of it and now her hunger was quelled... but her worry for Colche wasn't. The iguana frowned, not wanting to seem rude to the woman who had been so nice to her but... maybe she would understand.
A sigh escaped her scaley lips and she stood, looking at Bobby. "I feel bad for leaving so soon but... there's someone I'm looking for that I haven't seen in awhile." Amaya smiled slightly and awkwardly picked up the salad bowl with her large hands. "Thanks for everything... I can't say how happy it makes me to know that not everyone is going to freak out when they see me." Her young female voice made her actually appear like the little girl she was for the first time.

Bobby smiled, "It's a date, then!"
As Amaya got up and gave her meaning for leaving, the woman waved her off, "By all means, go find your friend! I'm sure she'll be happy to see you."
When Amaya was out of range, Bobby frowned, contemplating the girl's comment. "Why would anyone freak out?" she murmured to herself, "we're all in the same boat now...."

NEW RP (after Bobby's 25% transformation)
She was spending a lot more time in the cafeteria, although she did so as much as she could when no one else was around. Bobby very much avoided contact with anyone. She still didn't want herself to have to face them.
Bobby was at the buffet. She had gotten used to controlling the pig so that she could make something from the food offered in the buffet. At first it was tricky, with her fat fingers, but ever so slowly, Bobby got more and more used to them. It wasn't that she wanted something tasting better that she continued her little routine. Combining the food to make something else was now just a pasttime of hers, and it helped her not think so much about the Island and their delimna... and now, especially, her grotesque appearance.
The woman hummed while she made things together. It wasn't uncommon for her to make the equivalent of 5 meals at one time. She was hard at work, and the activity of making the food distracted her from the reality that every so often a squeal or snort would interrupt her song.

Like any other day, it was lunchtime and Amaya was getting a little hungry. She came from the jungle, having spent her time basking on any rocks or trees she could find to get her. Though she was getting a little more confident with her... new face, she was still a little weary of new people she didn't know.
As she made her way to the cafeteria, the iguana peeked through the windows in the doors and spotted Bobby. She smiled and quietly pushed the doors open (being mindful of her tail this time).
"Hi Bobby." The girl said quietly and timidly, though she wasn't all that shy around the nice woman she met days before. The older woman's change didn't even seem to register with her.

At the sound of Amaya's voice, Bobby paused in her humming and turned. Seeing it was Amaya, the woman smiled happily in greeting. Her bottom canines glinted in light, "Hello, Amaya-dear! Take a seat and I'll whip something up for you? No? We can eat together."
Normally, Bobby would avoid communication. But, she felt Amaya wouldn't mind her changes as much.... and after her little speech with the girl earlier, she felt it would be a criticism of her to say anything or bring attention to her new disgusting-nature.

"That sounds nice, okay." Amaya smiled, getting the feeling that Bobby was... an aunt of some sort that you meet every once in awhile that spoiled you rotten while you were under their care. It was strange how she seemed to apoint almost everyone on the island into a family role, whether on purpose or not. Perhaps she was making up for all the time she spent without a family to care for her?
This time the lizard caught the changes, but didn't miss a beat. She had learned that when you transformed, the least thing you wanted was people pointing it out... plus, Bobby really didn't look that bad. A little bigger, maybe. She absently wondered what she was turning into, though dare not ask it.
Amaya walked over to a table near the older woman and spun a chair around before sitting on it, not even caring that she was wearing a skirt and had to pretty much straddle the chair. When you had a tail that was as long as hers, you stopped caring about such tiny things.
"So... how are you doing?" The reptile asked, looking over at her. Her green eyes looked at Bobby no different then they had last time the met. Pig DNA or not, she was still the same nice woman who had been so nice before.

From Amaya's tone, Bobby knew the girl wasn't trying to make fun. Inwardly, she shrugged it off as she added making a salad to her already growing 'list' of things to make.
A line of trays with completed dishes were already waiting. One was a kind of tater-tot casserole. Another a strange lasagna (much like Greek Pastitzio with pasta instead of the long lasagna sheets), some regular corn, a stir-fry, a chef salad, and she was woking on more.
Bobby literally held herself back. She finished the last dish she was working on, a sort of steak-lettuce-pasty wrap, and then the salad. The woman made sure everything in the salad was compatible with a lizard.
As she turned around, her arms full with all the entrees, Bobby smiled, "Oh, I'm great... you know the usual.... Well, actually, I've been trying to stay away from other people. And what about yourself? Did you find your friend like you had hoped?"
The woman sat down and handed Amaya the vegetarian salad. Meanwhile, she worked on her own feast.

"Yeah, I know that feeling." Amaya said as she watched Bobby, then looked at the salad set in front of her. "Thank you." She said kindly, picking up a fork awkwardly to pick at it before eating some.
The girl didn't speak again until she had swallowed what was in her mouth. She gave a tiny head-bob, her version of a nod. "I found her shortly after I ran into you, actually." A smile crossed her scaley features, taking another bite from her dish.
Amaya wondered why Bobby made so many different dishes... both times she had seen her, she had been doing just that. A way to cope, maybe? ... Poor Bobby. She must have lost a lot due to Moreau.

So, Bobby was now a very quick eater. She was already a portion of her way done with the first dish when she looked up at Amaya, "I'm glad you didn't have to spend too long search. You look pretty anxious to see her, I hope she was alright."
The woman could have fought the urge to eat so much, but while the pig in her wanted to eat, it also made it so she didn't want to fight it. Well, at least she'd make it so her manners didn't escape her. She would not talk with her mouth full of food like, well, a pig. "So, did you think about the sleepover yet?" she winked.

"Yeah, she's alright. A little shaken up I think, though." The iguana left the fact she was almost raped out, of she didn't know then it wasn't exactly something you spread around. "Her name's Colche. Normally she runs around naked and she's turning into a cheetah, I think." She paused a moment. "I think she's one of the few people that's as far along as I am."
A smile graced her scaley features at the mention of a sleepover. Amaya had one with Colche, but what was another to hurt? "Sure, I don't mind. But who all would come?" Green eyes looked over at Bobby, almost lost among her scales.

"Colche?" The women frowned. She had seen the girl soon after the event, although what happened Bobby didn't have a clue. "What happened to her? I met her, and she seemed absolutely horrified when I saw her. Very skittish and bruised to. I didn't want to ask her then, I think it was too soon for that."
"Well, I..." Bobby thought about the people she had met. The estrogen of her list was limited. "I've met you, Colche, Cass, and Joli, so far... well, women at least. Maybe the others would like to come?"

"Well... from what Joliette told me someone tried to rape her but failed. I think his name was Billy." The lizard frowned deeply. "Thankfully they got him before he could get very far, but who knows what kind of life Colche came from... it's no wonder she was so afraid." She paused. "That's why I went to see her, to make sure she was doing alright. The bruises are gone and she seems a lot more confident again." Little did she know that she was probably digging a hole for herself, if Bobby were to explode to find out it was Billy who had done it.
But Amaya wanted to get off such an unhappy subject. "I guess you've met all the reptiles so far then." She gave an unhappy smirk. "Greer might want to, I can ask her... though I havn't seen her in awhile, so I'll have to track her down." She tried to think of others. "Oh, and Hargun."

"Billy?" The name didn't mean much to her. She thought she knew who the culprit was... but rape? That, she didn't know. Well, she would have to find him and skin him when she does! "I am glad Colche is going better. I did see her, and she seemed much cheerier than our first meeting. The poor thing..."
Bobby laughed as Amaya thought of more names, even though she didn't know who they were. "Yes! The more the merrier! I can make little treats, and we can watch movies and stuff. I am not so sure on the games, maybe a kind of catch-phrase game that would accomodate any, ah... well, you know..." the woman seemed slightly bashful, for she didn't know how far everyone else was in the manner of hands and finger mobility.
