With a sharp nod and a grin at Rosie's retreat, Rabbit hurried back to her booth, retrieving the tablecloth in question in addition to as many pastries as he could carry. The former went over his shoulders as a temporary cloak of sorts and the latter in a plastic bag he found along the way. It was only a little bit bloody on the outside, and you could barely even tell the crimson speckles had been there at all once he'd wiped at them with his shirt.

Weaving past the not-so-injured and stopping back at Hux's side, he opened the bag, then shut it again when he recalled the man's nausea. Like the baker, Rabbit had a surprisingly strong tolerance for vomit, though his stemmed from completely different circumstances. Still, that didn't mean he wanted to deal with more of it right now.

"Food," he said, shaking the bag. "And bandages." He lifted a shoulder, indicating the tablecloth. "I'm gonna see what I can do to help, if you wanna come." He swallowed as the reality of the situation threatened to overpower his adrenaline, winning the fight for now. Dive in. Don't think.

Dawson gaped at her, dumbfounded. Maybe he had been jostled just a bit too much. Maybe he was mishearing. Or maybe when America had said witch, it hadn't been just a funny title.

"Right," he said casually. "Sure. Good. Don' think nobody wants bitin'. Hope they, uh...they listen over there."

Too frazzled still to do much else, he followed the sound of food and joined a gentleman with the tablecloth of the stuff. "Uh, mind if I take some a'that?" he asked, motioning for the bandages. Well, and maybe some of the food too. The bag of goodies he was clutching from The Sweet Spot was a little smashed.

"A were..." Rylan's brow furrowed. So it was happening. The thing that Lucas had been trying to avoid by crossing into Other Ashdown, it was real. And they'd managed to land themselves right in the middle of it.

"Kid, you'd better take it easy," he said to Dawson. "Head wounds are no laughing matter. Don't go running off after the werewolf or anything."

He crossed over to Eve and crouched down next to her, taking in Aleksy's injuries. "Scuse me.. I'll only take a second of your time, but," he caught her eye, tried to find the truth in them. "Lucas. He's, okay? He was with you on the other side, not... here?" He hoped it wasn't Lucas.

And after, after that he would get up again, and he'd try to figure out how he'd rescue people out from under the fallen shelves without any equipment, and without any trained help.

"Yeah, sure," Rabbit said with a grin. "Only..." His bandages were the tablecloth. Maybe he shouldn't have used that word out loud. "You can take as many of these as you want, but if you want to help people, I guess I'll need a scissor?" He held out the pastry bag in the interim, noticing the guy had his own bag. "It's a dessert party in here," he said to himself with an out of place chuckle.

"But yeah, the bandages aren't bandages yet. They can be soon though." Scissors. Right. He didn't see any, but he hadn't looked all that hard. He also couldn't help but hear a nearby woman talking about Other Ashdown and transforming and holy s**t, her ears were pointy. What in the hell was going on around here?

Safely bandaged and now ensconced in a jacket that smelled very appealingly of Jeremiah, Aleksy calmed a little. His chest was still actively being torn apart, but Finn was right there, and the jacket was warm where Aleksy was so, so cold. He turned his head away from the pineapple juice, repulsed by the coldness (and the fact that it wasn't vodka, which seemed much more offensive) but then his mom was there and holding his hand. That made it better, and the pineapple juice was good, and…

"You look not scary as Lucas," he said, turning his head to look at Eve. "I am very brave. The bravest." He wanted to say more, but that required so much energy and all he wanted to do was sleep and hope the pain went away.

"Oh," said Finn, nodding like what Eve had just told him made any sense. "Okay."

He had no idea what was going on, and at this point, he was afraid to ask.

"You've been exceptionally brave," Finn assured Aleksy. "I'm going to get you a medal."

He looked at Eve. "Um. Do you think - now that he's stable, can we let him doze? Or would that be really bad, do you think?"

He was going to defer to the person who was actually qualified to make medical decisions on Aleksy's behalf, obviously.
