Now he was highly amused, she was angry and clearly annoyed and it put her off her game. He could play to that, tease her a little, string her along, then maybe knock her flat on her a**, assuming he didn't push her to far.
"Come on Dollface," he said with a smirk, cocky as ever, "you can do better than that. Did I rough you up too, much? Gonna have to build some stamina there girl."
He had his hands up guarding like he would in class and swung a few jabs at her, somewhat trying to hit her, but more or less trying to throw her off further. So he missed, so he they were dragging this out, for all his determination to piss her off royal, he actually though Dollface was his kind of people.
Damn, what was her name again ...

She was letting herself get goaded. It took her a bit to realize it but, eventually Violane realized that this guy was getting a good laugh out of her frustration and lack of focus. Unfortunately, she wasn't really in any mood to try and deal with it. She was at the point she wanted this damn spar over with.
With a huff she punched his upper arm. It wasn't meant to cause much harm, just to get his attention and maybe get him to focus back on what they were suppose to be doing instead of feeding her anger and toying with her. Which ticked her off more that he was doing it and it was working.
"How about we get back into this fight, hm? Or do you just want to keep playing around?"HP: 4-0=4

She seemed to get what he was doing, but he really didn't care, it was working and he was just beside himself. Even if she knocked him out, he wouldn't even care. It wasn't like he didn't deserve it, a little. She pretty much, well in his opinion, demanded they focus back into the fight and on the task at hand. "Dollface, I am focused are you." He threw a somewhat pulled punch right at her face, but missed not because the punch was pulled, but because she moved punching him weakly in the arm. "Ow ... that tickled, you wound me Babydoll. Earned yourself two nicknames in one fight too. Youre on a roll." He was surprised in the back of his head that he was being allowed to fool around like this, but he had a feeling regardless of which of them won, they might be getting a talking to for his debacle. HP: 7 - 1 = 6

Violane glowered. He wasn't taking her seriously, the b*****d. He was just going to stand there and continue to mock her. Well, fine. ******** him. She was in to win this spar and if her wanted to continue to taunt her and not fight, then so be it.
"Oh, lucky me. Two nicknames. I guess that means I can hit you twice as hard now?"
To back up her words, Violane put all of her weight into an uppercut to the man's jaw. She had to reach a bit, but her proximity to him and his intent to just stand there and continue to chat her up made it easy enough for Violane to set up her punch at him.HP: 4-0=4

He was aware that he could possible push her to far and the uppercut the his chin that rock him and almost put his on his a**, was definitely enough to set him straight. He was really dazed and stumbled a bit, but he shook it off and set his eyes hard on that other. "Yeah your very lucky, better to have me as a friend then an enemy, their nicknames are far worse," he said stepping forward no intention on trying to hide his actions. He swung his foot hard at her shoulders. He was done playing and very irritated she almost knocked his damn head off his shoulder. Couldn't let her get away with that. HP: 6 - 4 = 2

Ah! There it was. She could see it in his eyes after she finally clocked him. Now he realizes that I am not fooling around anymore. "I feel sorry for them." She countered. Her face remained neutral at this point as she attempted to refocus herself back into the fight.
She could see he was aiming to make a go at her, and when his foot swung towards her she attempted to block it with her forearms but was a bit too slow in her movements and was sent to the ground hard as he made contact with her shoulder.
An audible omph escaped her at the impact of hitting the ground. Now, that had hurt just about as bad as the elbow to the back, if not maybe a bit worse considering she had landed awkwardly on her shoulder. Her left arm was tingling from the blow and at that moment, Violane knew she was bested. There wasn't a way to bounce back from a hit like that and still have a chance at winning. Not in a spar anyway.
So, with pins and needles running down the length of her arm, she pushed herself up to he knees and climbed back to her feet. She was not at all happy. In fact, she was rather pissed at herself for loosing despite the fact she had done a fairly good job of keeping up with the bigger and better trained man. She glared at him for a moment or two as she carefully rolled her left shoulder to try and get feeling back into it a bit faster.
"I won't loose next time." She ground out with fire in her eyes. "Once I get some training I'll want a rematch."

He knocked her down and it seemed she was done and he won which was a really feeling. She pushed herself back to her feet and promised she wouldn't lose next time and said she wanted a rematch. "We will see, but I'm definitely up for a rematch, they are really good spar, my attempts to goad you aside, you almost had me there. Honestly, that uppercut almost had me out. That was a damn good hit." He put a hand out, shake and move on. They weren't enemies and he wasn't looking to make any in the negaverse if he could help. "Next time, I'll have a better less annoying nickname."

And now he was trying to make her feel better. At least that was what it sounded like to the young woman. Well, she was not in any particular mood to try and be consoled. When the had was offered, She took it, giving it a squeeze with a glower. "I am not kidding. We will have a rematch some time." Violane was sure of it. One way or another it would happen. Tha tor she'd make sure to get back at him.
With 'pleasantries' out of the way she turned and walked out of the room. She truthfully had no idea if Cinnabar had even bothered to come to her match but if the General had, Violane had the feeling she was going to get at least a talking to about that fight if not a hard lesson.

Aurostibite had watched the battle quietly from the sidelines, his expression as stoic as ever. But there was a look of approval as the fight escalated and then finally tipped, with the young man pushing ahead of the young woman right near the end, a well-aimed kick serving as a final maneuver.
"Congratulations," Aurostibite said to Witherite with an approving nod. "You're onto the next round, the next battles will begin as soon as the first round concludes.
To Violane, he said, "You fought well and with good instinct. I expect I'll see you excelling further within the Negaverse."
