"Who cares?" Connor shrugged, and turned to hail the bartender for just one last shot. "It's never stopped me before."

Though it had caused problems. A black eye from a raging a*****e of a boyfriend hadn't been ideal, but it could have been worse. He could have lost his eye.

But even that would have been okay, because he bet he'd ******** rock an eye patch.

A snort was given in response, but no verbal retort, as he was too busy downing his final shot.

"Sure, ******** it, if she's into it, why not?" Chances were that she would not be, but that didn't mean they couldn't try and swing things that way.

"So, how do you want to play this, then?" He had stopped watching the group as some of them broke away, a guy and a girl making there way up to the bar, the one Connor had been interested in heading off towards the bathroom with another woman.

"Might be difficult to separate from the herd, even if she isn't already taken."

"You take all the ******** fun out of everything." He griped when she returned, though he had to hand it to her for at least getting part of the job done.

"And she probably is, just won't admit it. Everyone's a little gay." He smiled, while quoting one his favourite lines, and stood up straighter, ready to go do his thing.

But first, "You sticking around in case I strike out?" He asked, though just out of curiousity. The night was still young, and he had no idea if she had other plans, or if she had anybody scoped out for herself.
