She let it hit her, the pain only fueling her wish to win. Her excitement. This was the best fight ever! The sweat was dripping off her hair, her body, everywhere. She could barely grip her bow she was so sweaty.
"My mother." She said proudly. "And my other aunt, Dya." Dya was blind, but she would've been the best archer if she hadn't gone blind. As it was she still knew a few tricks, and between her and Briella she knew it all. At least she thought so.

You do whoever taught you a good credit as well, and I think both of us are here making our mother proud."They were both fighting well, and in reality she was pretty sure this match was going to be decided with both the winner and loser being exhausted.

Votzhem takes full damage! Votzhem loses! --- It was less the arrow that did it, and more the force of will behind her attack. The wound was serious - it would require attention. His pride, however, would heal. He nodded as the referee called the match - his loss. Removing the resulting arrow from his person, he held it out to her, smiling. He was tired, very tired, but it had been a good fight - a damn good fight. "Here. It was an honor, niece. Maybe we can spar again another time." he said, "In the meantime, though, make our mother proud in these fights. His voice suddenly became forceful, an invective not a merw side comment.
