Thorne glanced at the bird, amused. Renard had commissioned him for a series of illustrations based on that little guys species. If he made it out of the full moon alive, he'd be sure to ask Rylan for some help with it using a live model.
"I guess we all have our tricks," he added wryly when Rylan dropped the fact that he could see through animals eyes. He should have had more of a reaction to it - realistically speaking. But he was tired and the energy to be surprised just didn't come. So he gave a nod, wondered what it would be like to fly, and leaned his hip against the counter, crossing his arms with a soft exhale.
"Well, I guess if the end of the world is really coming up," Thorne said slowly, looking at the two of them, "Can I just get a - a confirmation. As to what this - is - " He gestured to the three of them, mouth twisting in slight modesty and embarrassment. "So I know what I'm coming back to, you know, after the war?"
