Cygnus watched in awe, and a little bit of shock, as his brother charged into the battle like a real super hero. The little Chibi was not anywhere close to being that kind of brave, and he knew it. It made him a little sad, though the snuffling and tears were still mostly about being hurt in the battle. He'd worry about all the mental impact stuff later.
Right now, he just wanted to see his big brother dust that stupid monster good.
And that he did, with a powerful upper cut to the youma's fact that the creature had not been expecting or able to counter. It burst into dust and vanished with a timely gust of wind, nothing more than smoke where before there had been a terrifying monster. Cygnus snuffled and got to his feet, holding his hand over his injury though it was getting stained by blood. He wobbled over to Baikal and clung to him in a tight hug, burying his face against his big brother's leg and crying against him.
He didn't say anything, just held on for dear life and shook as he sobbed and let all the fear and relief that suddenly crashed together out.
