He kept the Chaos limited, not wanting to drown her in it, though it was difficult to maintain that sense of control all the time. Still, Aurostibite had had practice with it now, and it came second nature to him, easing his grasp when he felt it was enough. The uniform had taken place, and the young woman who stood in front of him was no longer the one who had been there before
"It's over," said Aurostibite, and pulled his hand free, blue eyes flickering over her form. "Congratulations - and welcome to the Negaverse, lieutenant."
He took a step back, giving her her space, and said thoughtfully, "We'll have to come up with a name for you - you can't go by your civilian name as a lieutenant, this identity of yours is private."

Her new attire clung to her person like a second skin, something both alienating and comforting at the same time. Pursing her lips, Jinxi dipped her chin in gratitude.
"T-thank you for welcoming me," she said, pressing a hand over her chest. "I'm glad I agreed to join."
Fallow eyes flickered up to the man's and then to the tip of her burgundy-colored heel. "Right, right, but I... don't know of a name." Searching her thoughts proved futile as well. "Can you... Is there one you can suggest?"

He smiled at her, a rare sight, though it was brief and straightforward. Aurostibite was not exactly someone who showed his emotions a great deal, but he found this girl to be potentially a good addition to the Negaverse
Letting his gaze flicker up and down her new uniform, Aurostibite took a moment to consider. He hadn't named all of his recruits, but he'd done enough that he had started to keep a running tally of possibilities. There were some names that just seemed to fit people, the way that their uniforms seemed entirely them.
"Sarabauite," said Aurostibite finally, with a decisive nod. "Lieutenant Sarabauite of the Negaverse."

"Sarabauite, lieutenant of the Negaverse," the newly recruited agent repeated after Aurostibite, as if to etch the name and title into the stone of her memory.
She didn't know what to make of his smile, but the ability to muster up one herself was easier than before. It confused her then; who knew it was so... easy? Or was this the strength of Chaos? The courage?
"Thank you again," she said, truly grateful. "Um, i-is there more you need of me? I'm not... I'm not sure what else to expect..."

He shook his head, causing a ripple of black curls down his back and said, "No, there is nothing more that I need of you this evening. I would, however, like to meet up with you at some point soon to discuss the important points of the Negaverse, but you've done enough for this evening and should rest."
Aurostibite reached a hand into the pocket of his uniform, found a pen and a notecard, and scribbled something down before he tucked the pen away again. The notecard was handed towards Sarabauite.
"This is my number. Take a night and think things over, and contact me tomorrow, if you can," he said. "I'll help you with the first steps of integration into the Negaverse. But for now, simply rest your mind and know that you are in good hands."

Repeating the same action as she did with the handkerchief, Sarabauite barely caught the offered card between her fingers; turning it around to inspect it before settling eyes on the scrawled information. Taking careful note of the number, she pocketed it, and then dipped her head twice at the general.
"Right, right, rest... Definitely... Rest." The lieutenant could feel the fringes of fatigue against the ebbing rush she experienced moments before.
She backpedaled a step, her heel clicking against the concrete path of the park. Then it was followed by another, and another, her eyes not moving from Aurostibite.
"I, err, I'm going now," she said, still weary despite the gift she believe she was given. "I'll, um, contact you ASAP. Very soon. Good... Goodbye!"
And then she hustled off, eager and terrified at once.
