Aries trying to bring the big man down somehow, he kept locking it in, hoping to wear him down as time passed on.

With the match being this early, Samoa Joe had enough freshness and awareness to back himself and Aries up into a corner hard enough that Arie's back slams into the turnbuckle with Samoa Joe's weight also making Arie's hit the corner harder

Austin Aries trying to wear down Joe, he was suddenly slammed to the corner as Aries quickly let go holding his back in pain.

Austin Aries reached out his arms while in the headlock as he slowly started to get back up to his feet. He was struggling to get out of the headlock with Joe's huge arms.

Samoa Joe keeps wrenching with the headlock, but realizing that Austin was getting up and starting to power out, he let's go but quickly attacks with a backhand chop to the chest!

Aries held his chest as the chop was heard throughout the whole arena! Austin took a moment to recover, trying to think of how he could get out of this situation.
