"Does Sunny look like you? Oh my god. That's kind of hilarious." Autumn had been so distracted by Pax, she hadn't really looked at Sunny. If she looked like Zac... that was some hilarious s**t. And honestly, it would probably help her get through meeting her. Just something small to give her a little bit of strength.
"I don't think we're ever gonna be safe, Zac," She said honestly, sighing deeply. There just wasn't any way around it anymore.
"Hence why I'm reaching out."

“She’s… I think she’s Latina?” he said cautiously. “I mean, given when it was painted, and given there is an print of her in a book called…”Indian Princess”, I think they just made a sort of… I mean, I don’t think we look alike. Maybe if you just compared…skin tones?” He offered and then tipped his head. “Reaching out?” he said cautiously. He picked at his thumbnail, there was something, unrelated to the tragedies he wanted to admit as well, because he felt guilty now that he’d let himself be distracted.

His eyebrows went up at the turn of phrase she used. “Thankfully?... ”He said with a twitch of a smile. “Nothing “ “Um… but… on lighter notes, that I still feel bad about, I k…kinda… went on a so…sort of date.”

The sound that escaped Autumn's mouth was not human. She grinned from ear to ear, and straight TACKLED Zac to the sofa. Squealing with delight, she pinned her brother.
"Tell. Me. EVERYTHING!!! Did he kiss you?! Was it magical?! Do I have to beat the s**t out of him and be a scary big sister?!? GIVE ME DETAILS!!!"

NOT.. the reaction he expected. SO Much better. God so much better, no hate, no anger no .. how dare you while I was missing. Just… ‘Tell me EVERYTHING’. My god he loved her. He gave a tired laugh, but the smile was real, the flush as well. “Um… His name is Nico, um… he’s actually Lucas’s brother…little brother.” He started “And it was sort of an accident, because apparently I fail at flirting but he thought it was cute anyhow. Um… he kissed my hand?” He offered flushing. “Said I had pretty eyes.”

"Well you DO have gorgeous eyes, you little s**t!" Autumn squealed, shaking Zac on the sofa. She was so ******** excited it wasn't funny. Her mind gave her the bizarre thought of wondering how quickly Zac would call 9-1-1 in the event of her having a stroke from excitement. A part of her panicked, very slightly, that it was Lucas's brother... but she wasn't going to judge preemptively. Not if it wasn't necessary.
"Ohmygod, Zac, I'm just. I'm so happy for you!" She shook him again, for good measure, grinning. "You have to tell me EVERYTHING, okay? All the dirty details, how he is in bed. And if he EVER EVER hurts you, you come to me, okay? I'll buy you ice cream and beat the s**t out of him."

He made a sound that sounded rather like it might belong to an Online game fantasy creature as a sound effect, the heat in his cheeks increasing he thought ten fold. ‘Well… we haven’t done THAT yet.” He stammered. “He’s… Really open, bubbly almost… super friendly. I should…. I wish I could see some of what Aleksy does… just so we’d know if…I mean I know about the…’Rarrrr’ thing. I was delivering a suggestion that MAYBE if he’s dating avoid um…mouth…work for a while.” he coughed embarrassed to talk directly about the topic. “If he ever hurts me, I promise I’ll let you have the first shot, and -then- maybe I’ll tell Jeremiah.” He teased. “I’ll send pictures if he’s still talking to me, it’s been a bit since I was up to talking to most people.”

"I kickbox, babe. I could ******** break this guy over my knee if he so much as looks at you wrong," Autumn said, still teasing with just a note of darkness in her tone. She'd dated enough assholes in her time- been on enough Terrible Tender Times (as she was now deeming them) that she was going to be as protective of Zac as need be.
"I cannot WAIT to see pictures," Autumn agreed, softening a bit. Threats aside, she was REALLY happy for her little bro. And she was going to say as much.
