As he pumped the chaos into the other he took note of the changes- watched them occur. He watched as the others clothing gave way to something new, something darker. He could feel the others aura soon and while it was weak that was simply because he was a lieutenant. He would need training and experience to grow, to gain a stronger aura - he would help there.
As the other slumped down he pulled his hand free, leaving his starseed right where it had always been, and shifted him around so he could hold onto him - almost cradling the larger figure on the street. "I made you like me. Lesser in rank, for now, you are now the same as me. You are an officer of the Negaverse - a lieutenant." He answered wanting to be as precise as possible. "You'll just need a name...a mineral name." He said slowly as he shifted so he could slowly stand, taking the other with him, despite his bad ankle he grit his teeth against the pain as he forced his body to comply with his demands of it.
"You can call me Benitoite when alone. With other officers it's General Benitoite or simply General. I'm afraid most expect ranks to be used and it may seem odd to some other wise or some form of disrespect though it is rather annoying to be honest." He had earned his rank and he should decide if he wanted to be addressed by it - not other people.
"I'll be training you as soon as you're ready. I'll answer your questions but right here is not a safe place. I'd rather not have some senshi or knight come upon us. You'd be at risk and while I can hold my own I'm a bit weaker than usual especially now." Corrupting someone could wind him and drain him of his own energy. He needed a safe place for them both and the only option was his home. "I'm going to bring us to my home where you can rest, I'll cook, and you can ask questions."

Tom was finally catching his breath and although mad at... Benitoite, he was still thankful for the help in getting up. He wobbled a bit, before standing up straight and taking a deep breath in to calm him down some more. He sighed. What had he gotten into? Rubbing the right side of his head a bit he looked at the General. Should he really go with this guy now? Guess I have no choice. Tom thought as he nodded towards the General. "All right. Just let me get my things." He didn't sound very enthusiastic, but again he didn't even ask for this to happen so he wasn't too happy at this point. He located the two bags and picked them up, putting one over each shoulder and turned back around to Benitoite. Although he wouldn't say it out loud, he was kind of hungry. "I'll go with you for now." Tom would have to. He didn't know what the heck was going on and he had too many questions. He also wondered how they were in danger out here. No youma would probably attack them again for a while, at least with Benitoite around but could there be something else?

Watching the other gather his things, allowing the other to do so, he went to reach out for the other and hugged him close. "This will be jarring when we arrive but when we do focus on your previous clothing and being normal. You'll power down. I don't need your signature or mine being in my house long." He said hoping the other would pick up the lesson quickly, he didn't need any senshi or knights in the area tracking a signature to his home.
Holding onto the other he focused on going home, after all he'd already given the other some warning about how jarring it would be. They inside of his home, the living room, was filled with leather furniture, a plush carpet, dark wood and many sterling silver candle holders. Long scented candles and votives filled the various silver and glass holders the were scattered about his living room.
It was also with him arriving, and powering down, that a small black scottish terrier came running into the room. Dangerous moments ago, and in a real ornate uniform, he was now in jeans, sneakers, and a knit sweater of a dark gray color and he was bending down to pet the pooch that was trying to jump him. Smiling and petting the wiggling four legged creature. "Cadha, have you been a good boy?" Smiling and petting the dog he let them go to inspect the new person. "Be nice to him Cadha." A warning to the excited dog as he looked up from his position on the floor to the other.
"Don't mind Cadha, he's friendly and likes attention. If Katya is home it'll be worse - especially since your a Lieutenant and new. She'll try and claim you as one of hers." He said shrugging his shoulders. "Possessive cat."

Benitoite wasn't wrong when it came to teleportation. Tom almost said he could feel his eyes spinning when they finally teleported there and felt the room spin a bit before finally focusing again. He shook his head a bit to make sure his head was working again before trying what Benitoite suggested and he could feel his clothes changing. He sensed his clothes changing and was impressed and confused at the same time. That felt weird. He looked down to see he was back in his soccer uniform sans cleats and leg guards and wearing his sneakers. Tom sighed while looking around the room. Well, it definitely wasn't like his more modern apartment, but that didn't mean it looked bad. The chair looked enticing though but he wasn't sure if he should sit down yet, or even where to put his stuff down. He saw Benitoite and was surprised at how different he looked. He hadn't really gotten a good look at him while they were walking but the change in hair length definitely threw him off a bit. Tom wondered if anything had changed when he was in that uniform. Tom smiled and bent down to pet the dog. He wasn't one to ignore a dog who wanted some attention and so pet the creature as best he could. "Cute dog." He said, still petting him even though his attention was now with his master again. He perked up at a cat being mentioned. He hadn't seen his two cats that he had to leave back home with his family and missed having them as companions. "Well, I'd be okay with that. Cats are my favorite pets." He said, smiling in reply.

Well it wasn't hair length but rather when powered up his hair wasn't kept back in a pony tail like it was when he went about as a civilian. If he wanted it tied up he had to do that all on his own, and he hadn't before. he knew it made him look more feminine, in either form, and softened his features. He looked...delicate even but that helped him in a fight. Some people would think him weak or that he was easy to fight - he was neither thing as the newly minted Lieutenant would find out as he planned to train him.
"Cadha is good, he's a lot of energy but he'd good." To be expected of a terrier really, or so he had learned. "You can sit down if you like, he'll likely join you on the couch. I'll make dinner and Katya, if home, will likely be down soon..." He didn't mention she talked or how prissy she could be at times. He'd let the other discover that first hand. If she was home she'd cone down, she'd have sensed both their auras and be curious about it no doubt - she was still a cat.
"Anything to drink? You can shower also if you need it." No doubt he had been on the dirty ground and was likely dirty himself not to mention possible sweat and such. He didn't have clothing to offer the other though...less he wanted to try and squeeze into the shorter males clothing - impossible really. She had indeed felt it and it was enough to bring her out of her reading and have her standing at the top of the steps listening. Tail swaying behind her she came slinking down the steps. "It would seem that by the way you're talking this one is new." The russian blue purred out. About her neck a strand of dark pearls and a chain with another hanging from it she wore a pink hat as, or crown perhaps, as well. What stood out more than the clothing was the dark star on her forehead - no normal cat. She spoke and looked different.
As the blond nodded his head she smiled a cobra like smile. "How nice..." She purred and moved toward the new person and the dog, who she thankfully got along with.

Tom pet the terrier for a bit longer before placing his things on the ground. Looked like he was going to be here for a while anyway. Cadha and Katya, proper names compared to what he called his own pets. "I was wondering, what do they call you besides Benitoite? I'm sure you're not called that when you're... like this." He had mentioned Tom needing to take a mineral name so this man must have a normal name too. He thought about taking a shower and wasn't sure if he should do so. The only change of clothes he had in there was a clean shirt and socks. But perhaps a shower would do some good and he wouldn't have to stay in there long. "A shower sounds nice." He replied, grabbing his soccer bag again. "Where is the shower?" His cat must be indoor/outdoor since he had mentioned that Katya might be out. He then heard someone talking and looked around until he spotted a cat, or at least what mostly looked like a cat. Honestly to him she looked like something out of a video game or manga considering cats didn't usually wear pearls, unless it was their collar, have a star on their forehead, and spoke. Tom was still surprised though and it probably showed on his face. He almost wished he could talk to his own cats. "Uh... nice to meet you?"

"Hardly. It's only other officers who even know about the other part of my life." Best way to put it he figured, or at least close to it. "I wans't always in the Negaverse anyway, I was brought in when I was 16." And he'd been in almost five years now. Thinking about it, mentioning his age when he joined, it made him feel...old or perhaps just seasoned; like he'd been at it too long. "You can call me Alexandre, or Alex, when I'm out of uniform. I'm an art major."
He was going to show the other up to the bathroom when he heard, than spotted, Katya and nodded to her question. "I'm glad you seem to approve Katya." Not that he was surprised. She liked new officers, more so corrupted senshi, and rather liked to try and claim them as hers. She'd claim this one as hers as well, he was sure of it. "Katya is a mauvian, a corrupted one. She's a guardian cat who works with us, the Negaverse has several such cats while the knights and senshi have some as well. Some cats like to stick with a certain person or a group of people. Others seem to drift and float about. Katya stays with me but likes to grab up those around me as well. You'll find she's good company if you can get her nose out of whatever book it's in." He said ignoring the dirty look she shot his way at his words - it was all true.
"She also has a thing for corrupted senshi." Shrugging his shoulders a bit. "let's show you to the bathroom so you can wash up and I'll make something to eat." He said with a smile in place."It's good to meet you as well." It was very nice to meet a new officer, it always was, and she stood there letting him look her over as she preened under his gaze as he took in what must be a very odd thing for him to see - the poor dear. As Alexandre explained what she was, and her specifically, she shot him a dirty look and narrowed her eyes. He really was honest and blunt...to the point that it was rude. "At least I read and am intelligent unlike some other guardian cats - I do wonder about some of them. I think some don't even posses the common sense of an alley cat." She stated her nose turning up and tail flicking toward her General. he belonged to her - always would.
"Yes, lets show you to the shower and he can cook for us." As she would be getting a cooked meal as well, she did not eat simple cat food - that was for normal cats which she most certainly was not.

Tom was amazed. He knew that these... attacks on DCU had been happening for a while now, but he was surprised that people who were so young were being "recruited" into... well what honestly sounded like a war. He supposed he had been "recruited" too, however it seemed more of a forced thing, almost like a kidnapping or brainwashing used to gather more soldiers. He felt a little uneasy at this point. So now he was going to have to fight too? He had too many questions that would need answers. He didn't know what mauvians were, but he assumed they were some type of different species of animal. And Negaverse? Was that the side that he had been put into? That had bad written all over it, especially with the "nega" part in front of it. He just nodded in response to what Ben... Alex had said. Tom supposed he should introduce himself too since he had asked the other to do so. "I'm Tom." He only let one person call him by his full first name. "I'm pre-med at DCU." He was planning on only becoming a general practitioner though and working at a private practice. Tom let a bit of a smile show through at the description and actions of Katya. Whatever species she was, she certainly acted like the "cat" in the "guardian cat" part of the description. He ran a hand through his hair nervously. "A shower sounds good right now."

"That's a lot of hard school work. I know someone who went through medical school, they work at the local hospital." There was more than one in Destiny City, of course, but the one closest to him and the biggest in the city was where his friend worked. He knew it was a lot of school work and time put in, he was proud to hear that at the moment. It also might come in handy for the Negaverse at a later date.
"It's good to meet you Tom, now lets get you upstairs and I'll start dinner. No allergies?" He asked not wanting to accidentally poison the other, if he wanted to kill someone he'd do it and not via allergic reaction. Leading the way to the stairs Katya had just come down he headed up them slowly, he still was limping and now a bit more than previous the the youma encounter.
"Do you have any pressing questions? Anything you want to know before you wash up?" He questioned. If there was anything he needed to know - right now, he would answer them to the best of his ability. "I'll answer anything else that I can over dinner.I'll give you the information you need and start on training as soon as you're ready. I'll let you determine that in part. I can't have you powering up and running around the city with no training - it'll get you killed quickly." Or leave him vulnerable to purification....not something he fancied the idea of.

"Yeah well there are ways for me to make it easier on myself. Or at least make it easier to memorize." He usually drew out whatever he had to study, whether it was anatomy, symptoms, etc. it was easier for Tom to memorize something if he could put a picture to it and drawing them out made it easier for him. "I'm hoping to go into a private practice myself." He carefully followed Alex, noticing the limp he was sporting. Tom wondered if he could help though Alex seemed to proud to take him up on that offer. "Actually I'm highly allergic to any seafood so it would be better to avoid that if possible. Sea salt is okay though." He remembered the first and last time he had some fish and he had ended up in the hospital because of it. Tom sighed once again, thinking about the situation. "No I think I'd rather just have everything answered at once. And maybe I'll think of a few more questions while showering." Maybe cleaning up would help him to think a bit better than he was right now.

"A good plan." He said nodding his head in approval. It was a good idea though gaining clients, gaining a footing, might be a bit difficult at first. There were never too many doctors - not in a city like this one. With everything odd, strange, and dangerous which happened there was no shortage of need for doctors and nurses and such.
"Alright, I'll keep that in mind." Nodding his head to confirm his words as he looked back to the other and smiled. "I wouldn't want to hurt you." No more than he already had. "If you ever need help with your lessons I can try and contact my friend and see if he can help you." Since Xander had already been there and done that, not to mention Xander was like an elder brother to him. The two had grown up together, though more so Xander's younger sister and himself. Down the hall and he stopped outside of a door. "Bathroom for everyone to use is in here. If you ever need a place to stay, even for a short while, I have more guest rooms than I know what to do with." And for a fellow officer they were always open to whoever may have a need, for as long as they had a need.
"Of course, I'll answer everything over dinner." He said opening the bathroom door. inside it was pristine in a tarnished gold color for the fixtures and an light sage green and white. There was an obvious like, on Alexandre's part, for candles as there were brushed glass candle holders scattered about the bathroom. "Towels are in the closet in there." Fluffy and well kept, but no surprise to those who knew him.

"Thanks for letting me use the shower and... thanks." Tom wasn't sure why he was thanking this guy. Maybe the situation hadn't really sunk in yet. Soon though he found himself alone in the bathroom and getting ready to clean himself up. He sat for a bit on the floor, just to calm down a little since the cold tiles felt good right now and he wasn't sure if he felt nauseous from the situation or from something else. It was finally starting to catch up to him and he didn't know how to keep his emotions in check. He honestly felt like crying, which he hadn't done in a while. However, although there were tears forming in the corners of his eyes, that is where they would end. He wouldn't shed any, not unless he could find someone he really trusted and this was something you couldn't even say to your priest. After a while, he felt his stomach become calm and finally felt like he could move again without his stomach protesting and was able to get into the shower. He felt a lot cleaner after the shower and made sure to make as little mess as possible. He changed into the clothes that he had to change into, even if that meant wearing some of the other dirty clothing still, and walked back down the hallway, not bothering to dry his hair for right now. Alex's apartment was warm enough for him at least, and he had a hoodie in his bag if he needed another layer. He had gone back into the living room and saw that he was by himself here, though he did here noises from what he assumed was the kitchen part of the apartment. He didn't want to bother Alex and so rummaged through his bag until he found his ipad and sat down to read the current Agatha Christie book he was in the middle of.

While the other was up in the bathroom having issues Alexandre had limped and gimped his way down stairs and into the kitchen. Various things were pulled from the fridge, veggies and meat, herbs were taken from the small cups filled with water he had in the window sill. He grew his herbs in his greenhouse, in the backyard, and would pick some and put them in the little cups of water for use throughout the day.
While the other showered Katya remained laying on a chair in the kitchen talking, filling up the silence of the room as he worked, Cadha was busy eating as he'd set his dinner out as well. Working at the oven he had a pan with various veggies cooking in just a bit of oil. he'd added his herbs and spices and was warming his hands over the heat as he kept his gaze on what he was making. "I'm just hoping this doesn't turn out like most of the others I've brought into the Negaverse. It's not that I care how it looks for me, not that I don't think about that, but it's not good in general." He was saying as he turned and stared at the russian blue who was cleaning her paws.
Cadha must have heard something as he left the kitchen to head into the living room, the guest was likely out of the shower and downstairs now or on his way downstairs. "I can't force people to do things, I won't use force - it'll just drive them away. It's a matter of balance and it's different with everyone. Hatsya still wants my head on a platter I think." He said rolling his eyes as he went back to what he was working on. Katya liked her, of course she did, but Hatsya disliked him though she hadn't acted out on her dislike of him around others - thankfully.
Noting the vegetables and meat almost done he went to put the fresh pasta, there was a nice store in town that sold fresh made pasta, into the hot water he had waiting for it. As soon as that was ready he started to plate the pasta and than the rest. Adding sauce to both dishes. A small bowl was set up for Katya as well, she was such a picky thing...much like another certain guardian cat he knew.
"Dinner, come and get." He called out toward his living room.

Soon after Tom had sat down Cadha had come to join him and snuggled in his lap as he read his novel. He absentmindedly pet the dog as he continued to read, getting lost in the story and it wasn't until Cadha had jumped off of his lap that he had realized that dinner was ready and that Alex had probably been waiting a while. Well, this wouldn't be the first time that sort of thing happened to him. He just got too consumed by reading books. He quickly made his way to the kitchen, hoping he hadn't made the other man wait too long. "Sorry. I was too focused on reading that I didn't even hear you." Might as well be honest now that this was a problem than be punished for it later. He noticed that Katya got her own plate too and was amused by it. Although she seemed to be different when it came to cats, what with being able to talk and all, but she acted quite a bit like them too. Tom wasn't sure if he should sit just yet, since he had made the host wait, but sheepishly sat in his seat, waiting for Alex to eat first. He wouldn't dare make the host wait any longer since he had been so distracted already.

He had been waiting but it hadn't bothered him, he was used to it thanks to Katya. He also was rather understanding of such things, getting caught up in things, as he tended at times to get lost in a painting he was working on - it happened. Looking up when the other joined him he nodded his head. "That's fine. I assume it was a good read." He said motioning for the other to sit and make himself comfortable. "What can I get you to drink?" He asked already getting up from the small kitchen table. Cadha, who was under foot as usual, almost tripped the limping man but he did manage to catch his balance.
"You can ask anything you want...anything about the war, the Negaverse, senshi, knights or myself or Katya if you like. I'll do my best to answer and if I don't know the answer I'll let you know and, if I can, try and find an answer. If something is too personal I'll also let you know. But I think that in order to work best together you should know whatever you can and know me as well." He answered while opening his fridge to get something for the other to drink, waiting for an answer from him silently as slate eyes watched the other.
Katya was, unsurprisingly, eating already and he eyed her for a moment. "Forgot lunch did you?" He asked getting a nod in return from the cat. "I thought so, your eating a bit quickly and your usual manners have slipped a bit. Lost in some book again - no surprise." he said with a rolling of his eyes.
