The prompt reply from Juno brought a shy smile from Aaricia. To have someone so excited to see her again... Yes. It would be nice to have a friend. "Oh, I don't wish to be an inconvenience with your working schedule." After all, her own schedule was made by her father, and was less than flexible when an event was set. A delicate finger rose to tap her chin thoughtfully. Two days from now was a silly dinner party... "I will be able to return in four days," she said finally, her smile brightening a little. This would give her plenty of time to prepare herself! ...not that she knew why she felt the need to prepare herself; she just knew she would need it!

He couldn’t help but grin at the way she tapped at her chin as she thought, her eyes twinkling in contemplation. If she didn’t just seem so… perfectly genuine, he would have worried that she was coming up with some excuse as to why she couldn’t make it on either of those days, or ever. But he was certain that wasn’t the case, not with her.
“Four days it is. I can meet you right by the fountain in the middle of the marketplace, around the time the afternoon bells ring at the temple of On’nos. If I’m late -- and I swear I’ll try my best not to be, but sometimes the morning deliveries are delayed and my whole day gets thrown out of whack -- just wait a little while longer and I promise I’ll make it up for you. But… anyway, if all goes well I should be waiting for you by the time you come.”
The way he was talking about it, it sounded like some elaborate plan -- he laughed at himself, shaking off the tension.
He just didn’t want to disappoint her by showing up late and sweaty and flour-coated, that’s all. But when any luck, he’d be done in time to go home and clean up, put on some clean clothes and hopefully make a good impression.
“Would that work for you? I can meet you somewhere else if you like. You can even come wait right here if you like, but… Fia will be watching the stall, and sometimes she’s less than friendly. Harmless, I promise, but a real sharp tongue.”

Aaricia clasped her hands together while Juno spoke, finding her excitement growing. Plans to meet someone again.. A nice looking hybrid who seemed sweet and polite and earnest so far... She absolutely could not tell anyone that she was planning a special visit though! It had to look like an accident! The thought that she might have to wait for him was worrisome, but she knew that anything could get in the way. If the Gods could be kind...
"The fountain will be a fine place to meet," she assured with a nod. She took the last bite of the bun and started to lick her fingers clean of the sweetness sticking to them. Blushing, she quickly ducked her head and reached to pull out her handkerchief. "I.. look forward to seeing you. In four days. At the fountain." Though her voice and smile were bashful, her golden eyes were alive with delight.

Cornetified that's it for me, just one more from you and we're doneeee! thanks for finishing this. <3 if you'd like to plot more stuff for this pair, lemme know! up to you and how you feel about it. o wo “M-hm.” Juno nodded on the subject of the fountain. “You’ll see it from anywhere in the market, and… anyway, it’s a nice place to sit, especially on a hot day.”
He was rambling now (and trying not to watch as she licked her fingers, because that would be especially creepy), having run out of the bravado he had gathered and feeling sort of embarrassed again. It was, however, a slightly different kind of embarrassment from his earlier awkwardness, when he hadn’t really known if he would offend her by even asking to meet her at all. Now, it seemed (tentatively) clear that she was happy about the invitation, and… jeez, that just made him feel even more nervous for some strange reason.
“I, uh, I look forward to it too.” He said, stiffly at first. Then he shook himself off and grinned. “Hell, I can hardly wait. But four days’ll pass soon enough, and I’ll see you then. You take care ‘till then, hm? Don’t get sick or land yourself in trouble now. I’ll accept no excuses if I don’t see you in four days time.”
He laughed as he waved her off, and started counting down the hours.

Aaricia nodded slightly, tucking her handkerchief back away. Blinking slightly at the shifting moods, she couldn't help a small smile as well. Was he truly nervous about this meeting as well? "I hope you take care as well, Juno," she replied softly. Four days. How could they possibly pass quickly? They couldn't pass swiftly enough for her. Giving the other hybrid a small bow of her head, she turned away from the stall to continue on her way.
Four days... It surely would not pass quickly enough.
