Chestnuts: 1

Amonee did a few stretches before diving straight into those acorns. They looked so shiny and pretty, he just had to give this game a try! He was not well versed in methods to find chestnuts by feel alone and it felt too hurried to inspect the pool closely so the jadeblood opted to just grab as many handfuls of nuts and acorns as he could. Maybe he'd find a use for the acorns somehow, who knew!

"Wow, what a rush!" He gasped as he exited the pool once his time was up. "Thank you for the acorns, they're lovely." Amonee gave Lutrin a pleasant smile and wondered where she had even gotten all of these things. She must've been a really hardworking troll to gather so much for this event. She deserved something nice back and he had just the idea for it! Giving her a friendly wave, he left until bumping into Caiden and gushing over the painting options together. The other painter was always a delight to be around and his happiness showed on his cheeks in light flushes of green.

Wandering back through the crowds, nut beast in hand, Fellah was looking for a booth that the little gal might belong at.
Finally coming up to Lutrin's booth with all the decorated snail shells, the redblood started to slowly put two and two together.
"Uh, 'scuse me miss. I found this cute little nutbeast getting her tongue burnt on some pretty spicy hot chocolate. Poor thing. Her cute little shell looks like she might come from here?"

“Oh my gosh!” Lutrin reached out to take the troublesome nutbeast. She clicked her tongue against her teeth and shook her head. “That makes strike two!” she said, unhooking Shelly's tiny arms from around the teenage orangeblood's finger.

She turned her attention to the owner of the finger and saviour of the nutbeast. Her eyes widened and her mouth formed a small 'o'. After a moment, she broke into a grin. “You look strong! I bet you could fight anything!”

Xavier had decided to let his Mum tend the Apple stand for a bit while he went exploring. On his path across the Bloodfest Grounds, he thought he spied a troll he'd seen at his own booth the other night. "Oh! I remember you from the Apples booth. Hi there again!" He greeted with a little bow of his head. Curious, he decided to make his way over to the orangebloods event. There were so many chestnuts, he couldn't help but let his eyes wander over the pile. Rolling up his jacket sleeves, he decided to give it ago.

With a determined lift of his head, he dived in rifling around. As he did so, his findings weren't entirely promising. At first he'd thought he found a chestnut, but regrettably it was empty upon further inspection. Next the greenblood found an acorn of all things. That wasn't what he was after!

Wrinkling his brows in frustration, Xavier went for one last thing before the time went out, pulling at it once his gloved hand clasped at the item in the pile.

As Xavier kept digging around in the colossal pile his gloved hand seized at a particular acorn. A dull rumbling began, causing him to lift his head gazing in muted wide eyed horror. Xavier turned as if to retreat from the pile, but the tidal wave of nuts had other ideas in store for the jadeblood. Squealing in surprise Xavier flailed helplessly. "W..WhAAT.. AH!! NOOO?!" His hands went over his head, in a vain attempt to protect himself. In an almost comical fashion the sea of acorns came roaring down on top of him. The small boy was helpless as the tower swallowed him whole.

Being trapped under a massive pile of acorns certainly wasn't how Xavier expected his first booth adventure to go. Terror made his pump biscuit hammer wildly as he began clawing and pushing at his surroundings to try and unbury himself. While only a mere 10 seconds went by, he'd been terrified. Each moment had felt like minutes, leaving him wide eyed and horrified for a moment as he finally popped out from under his nutty prison.

"I'm okay!...I think." Xavier muttered the last part under his breathe as he straightened up, not wanting to look like a scaredy beast or something. He raised his hand up, from the pile waving in conformation. Quickly he began pulling himself up and out as he dusted off.

Xavier while frazzled was just fine; he hadn’t been hurt or anything after all. At least he smelled woodsy and sort of nutty. That wasn't so bad. Looking sheepish, he pushed his boot toe into the snow as he rubbed the back of his neck, freckled cheeks flushed with his jade hue. "Just a little unexpected development yuh know?" He laughed shaking his head in dismay as he moved back to the safety the snow covered ground offered.

Aha, Lutrin had opened up a new game for them, had she? No way was Etsali going to miss out on seeing what was going to happen with that. But first, she really out to see about making up for how terribly her dive had gone the night before! She jumped in, digging for something not acorn, and came up with...two acorns and oh, this was something! She scrambled to unfurl the crinkled paper and was greeted, at last, with a voucher for a very familiar booth.

It was only as she was pulling herself out of the pool that she remembered that the blueblood at said booth didn't have anything to use vouchers on. Oh well, maybe she'd ask when she visited next anyway. For now, what was this about snail racing?

Jumping back into the fray, Elidae continued to search around for anything of importance. Acorn, acorn, acorn. So many acorns! Her time soon came up and Elidae honestly felt like she had been down there forever with no results. Boo!
