Nodding, Moira walked over to him, fiddling with the ring on her finger with her thumb, shooting a glance back to where the creature had slunk off to as if she was expecting an attack from behind from the strange thing. It wouldn't surprise her all that much. She looked wary and on edge as she walked closer to her brother, but still ready to fight, something that they hadn't managed to take from her. Unlike her brother, which she had still yet to realize that this Lucian was the very same Lucian that she was related to, her energy seemed to be coming back in waves.

Glancing at the door, she bent down and went to pick up Lucian, having an idea that would work, "If you can lead me out of here, I think I can get us out with minimal damage.".

He tensed only slightly as she approached, but kept his resolve as he looked down at her hand, the ring safely with its owner as he felt a bit of relief, or was that weakness from the cold. He kept an eye for that thing to return, but it didn't look like it wanted to pick a fight with Moira at this point. He had been distracted by keeping on guard that he was swept up by Moira with no immediate question. His body tensed and his eyes widened, heart pounding violently as the fear was beginning to set in already. 'she'syoursistershe'syoursistershe'syoursister...... that doesn't help at all....' his thoughts raced as his deepest fear of females surfaced. Her voice snapped him half out of his new settled panic. Yes, a plan, an idea on how to get out. Lead her out. He wanted to laugh about the comment of minimal damage as the pain from his shoulder and hip was only amplified by the cold surrounding them. "Y-yeah... I'll lead us..." he forced out nervously as he pointed down the hallway, "We have to get back up one floor then from there I'll have to figure out where to go by their thoughts..." he was already concentrating, pinpointing voices that spoke of barring the front doors. That would be where they needed to go. "..h-hurry.."

Steadying Lucian on her shoulder, she re-balanced herself the best as she could as she kicked open the door of the Morgue. Rushing out of it, she glanced about the hallway and let out a small sigh of relief when she realized that there wasn't anyone in the immediate area, allowing for the second part of her plan to go into action. Sliding into a horse stance with her torso tilting closer to the left side as to keep her brother still on her shoulder, Moira focused on the cement walls, happy that the people who had made this section didn't make it out of the same spongy material that her most recent room had been made of. As she twisted her hand and 'gripped' the cement, several chunks of it found themselves dislodged from the walls and floor, soon floating in mid-air around the two metas [Earth Manipulation] in a shield-like formation. "There we go.." she muttered, standing up straight and glancing at Lucian before smiling a little.

"Hold on tight." Moira said quietly, keeping her own grip on Lucian tight, without the intent to crush or hurt him, before she through the corridor to find the steps, quickly turning on her feet into the stairwell and using her momentum and weight to fly past a handful of guards who had been trying to chase the two. As the guards spotted them, they fired off a couple rounds, most of them flying off the cement shield, but one had found its way into the stump of her left arm. Gritting her teeth, Moira continued up the steps, soon pushing into the corridor of the floor above them. "Okay, where now?" she asked quickly.

Moira smiled at him, and he couldn't help but smile back even out of his own nervousness of being this close. But now was not the time to be overcome by his fears. No, this was life or death. As the command came to hold on tight, he could sense the metal within her as he increased his magnetism just enough to cling to her better so they wouldn't be easily separated as she bolted down hallways. As they passed blurs of guards, Lucian continued to use a combination of magnetism and telekinesis to push guns away from them as best he could. The guns he could move, but once the bullet left the chamber, there was little he could do as bullets ricocheted off concrete and whizzed past in different directions. It was a miracle they were shot up into swiss cheese by now. As they made to the next floor, he concentrated hard on the voices and their origins, pinpointing those that were still talking about barring the front doors. "Take the next left! he ordered, as he was trying to keep focus on the voices, following them, "...Right!............Right!.............uhmm... s**t.... L-left!" the voices of everyone were so loud on top of the blaring sirens, he was starting to get a pretty bad headache. "...right!." As the next turn lead a set of stairs that guided them straight into the front lobby of the building. There were a number of guards waiting for them now, and the few in the back were finishing barring the front doors with what looked like what they had used to restrain the woman in the first place. "s**t.. we might have to fight... " he cursed under his breath as he looked over them all, trying to think of a plan, anything to get through these guards, the heavily barred door, and finally make it to the outside again.

Feeling as though she was being pricked with several small needles as Lucian magnetized herself to her, she flinched a little at the initial pain but quickly shrugged it off. Slowing down and heading up the steps, she stood there for a second, taking a second to think as the guards just stood in a mild shock at seeing not one, but two strange people standing there, before turning on her heel and heading to her right. Deciding it would be best to not say anything, Moira was making her way through the back section of the lobby, having a feeling that there had to be another way out. Though, as she did, the guards started to fire at the two of them.

Without any hesitation, she turned back around and used her momentum to hurl parts of the concrete shield from the Morgue level at the guards. Unable to aim and not even caring if she ended up killing those that had kept her locked away, one guard took the largest chunk of concrete directly to the face - causing a sickening crunch as he was slammed against the barred door - another getting caught under his lifeless body as two more were holding their ground. Taking half a second to regain her balance and turn back around towards her initial direction, Moira continued to run through the building, not wanting to be trapped back down in the basement.

Turning to her left, just behind the section of the building that had held the stairwell, Moira soon found herself looking around for windows - one preferably large enough that she could fit through. Running through the hallways that were now abandoned thanks to the guards clearing out this area - though they clearly hadn't thought that she'd get this far - with the alarms still blaring, she smiled wide as she found what she was looking for.

"A window!" she blurted the words out rather excitedly, running towards the tempered glass sheet with the full intent to crash through it, "You might want to get off!" Moira said quickly as she continued to run towards the window - which was still a decent ways off.

Lucian helped defend against the guards at the front lobby by suddenly jerking some of their guns on each other as they had opened fire, gunning themselves down of those that weren't smashed by large chunks of concrete. Moira took off running somewhere else, possible she had an idea. A window. Yes, a way out! She suggested he remove himself from her frame as he let his magnetism go, wings made of light suddenly emerging from his back as he back-winged a bit before setting foot on ground again. Wings extended back he ran behind her, ready to jump through the window after she had smashed through it. After that, all he would need is to reorient himself but he could effectively guide them to the cabin he had rented. It was a straight shot there, and Haven would likely not follow that far.

The loud crack then smash of thick glass shattering away as they found a way outside into the darkness. His wings illuminating their immediate area. "Keep going that way! There's a cabin at the edge of town, we can hide there until the heat dies down!" he instructed with a sense of purpose, pointing in the direct of a cross section of road.

Running as fast as she could, Moira put all her weight into the sheet of glass, feeling a slight resistance as she felt the anti-splinter film mixed with the shards of the tempered glass, but it tore and broke all the same. With her momentum still carrying her forward, she tried her best to slow herself down before crashing into the next building. Nearly slamming herself into it, she managed to ram her right hand into the buildings side, leaving a nice dent in it, before turning towards her brother. Eyes following where he was pointing, she nodded, not allowing herself to enjoy the feeling of fresh air in her lungs as she ran.

Continuing in the direction that Lucian had instructed, Moira kept her head low to avoid any strange looks as she bobbed and weaved her way through the alleyways and through streets to get to the cabin that was at the edge of town. Slowing as she saw the cabin, she continued to reduce her speed until she was finally walking, looking a little out of breath as it had been the most movement she had gotten in quite awhile. "I really hope this isn't another dream of mine." She muttered, looking quite annoyed that it could very easily be just another one of her dreams. It was something that she had been dreaming of for a long time - escaping and seeing Vic again. Trying to start her life again, maybe this time it could actually work.

Lucian led the way, periodically looking back to make sure Moira was still following, and to make sure they weren't being pursued. There were some guards that had tried to follow them, but between Moira's momentum bobbing and weaving through alleyways and Lucian's free-running expertise, they were able to make it safely back to the cabin while losing the guards. They'd have to hide out there and recuperate a couple days before they could safely try to exit the city unnoticed. There was just too much heat on them at the moment to do anything but stay hidden.

As they approached the cabin, Lucian came to a slow and opened the cabin, darting inside quickly as he waited for Moira to enter before slamming and locking the door. He fell back against the door as the pain he had ignored this whole time suddenly rushed back, his body sliding down against the door as he sat on the floor, holding his side. It look like another bullet had grazed him without realizing it. He winced a bit as he took a deep breath and looked up to Moira, looking even taller now that he was sitting. "...It's not a dream...." he grimaced as he pulled his hand up to touch the bullet wound in his shoulder. "...s**t.... yeah, the pain is very real." Giving a sigh of relief, he closed his eyes for a moment to collect himself. "...Are you hurt?... I can heal you..." he offered, opening his pink eyes as he stared with a sorrowful and longing look at her.

His eyes drifted slowly over her figure. Taking in every scar and disfigurement, his eyes growing more and more pained. He looked at her eyes, one miscolored from what looks like an attempt to tear her eye from her very face. The rocks that lined her face, the lack of almost an entire arm. She swallowed hard as he opened his mouth and choked back. His face hot, he hadn't even realized tears had billowed up in his eyes, agony at seeing his dear sister so mangled and abused for god knows how long in that horrid place. "...i'm so sorry..." he whispered, his voice straining with anguish, his heart breaking slowly as he could only be thankful she was even still alive knowing that the infamous Haven had captured her.

Once inside of the cabin, she stood there in front of her brother before she eventually started to pace. Even though it had been years that she had been locked up and drugged into a coma-like state to keep her subdued, they could never manage to get the energy that seemed to keep her going. Taking in a breath, Moira slowly let it out as she continued to pace, her mind just a mess of too many thoughts trying to get out all at once.

Luckily, Lucian's voice managed to snap her out of her thoughts. Turning to face him, she nodded, "I think...it might be best to try and get this-" she waved the stump of her left arm, "Sealed shut as fast as possible before I lose any more blood.". Even though it was a serious thing, Moira had an odd smile on her face, one that was mixed with exhaustion, but the unadulterated joy of being free from a place that had done so much harm to her. Slowly and awkwardly moving into a sitting position in front of her brother, she seemed to wobble a bit as the sudden dizziness washed over her as the adrenalin rush started to fade away.

"Th-...the sooner the better..on the sealing it thing. I don't want to sleep anytime soon." As she spoke, she just stared down at her own feet, not wanting to look up just yet, as if scared of something, though it had only been within the compound that she had found herself in rages so red hot that they kept having to move her into stronger and more secure rooms.

He exhaled sharply trying to collect his composure once more but only getting so far to keep himself from crying at this point. As she suggested he heal her stump of an arm he nodded with a melancholy look and shifted forward toward her, wincing as the pain in his shoulder was aching in the back of his mind. Reaching out he seemed to hesitate to get that close to her. Taking a deep breath, he moved his hands close to her wound, concentrating as his hands began to glow, the damage being slowly repair, skin forming over meat as he couldn't fix her missing arm, only heal what was left and leave it at that, sealing the wound shut the best he could. At least she wasn't bleeding anymore. After that was done, he moved to the bullet wound on his shoulder as he placed a hand over the hole, concentrating as hard as he could, the bullet ever so slowly sliding back out, forcing it's way back out before falling to the floor. Lucian sat against the door, throwing back his head in exhaustion from using so much power in such a short time. He narrowed his eyes, but refused to close them as he seemed to stare up at the ceiling, trying to tame his overwhelming thoughts about Moira and the situation she was in. After a few minutes, he shifted reluctantly to pull his phone from his pocket, inspecting it to see it was fried from his magnetism as he tossed it to the floor with annoyance. "...there goes another one.." he muttered with a slight grunt. Thinking for a moment. "We should rest. Don't have to sleep, just rest our bodies and wait for a good opportunity to leave undetected. Which, hopefully, is within two days. I have to get back to Aldas before the parley. Zaku is depending on me to be there..." he explained, leaning his head against the door again as he never got up from sitting in front of the door, just avoiding moving in fear of the pain that would ensue if he tried to force his body to budge from his spot.

Moira sat still as she watched her brother go about the process of healing both of them, just silently thankful that someone could heal as she could not. It had always been one of the things that she hated about herself, her inability to heal. As the open wound of what remained of her left arm slowly stitched itself closed, the skin slowly forming in strange patches and weaving together, she closed her eyes and let out a sigh that she wasn't aware that she had been holding in. Once Lucian had finished healing her, and taking the bullet out of himself, she sat there silently for a couple moments, just listening to him talk about things she had no idea about, as she had been trapped for so long.

"Thank you, Lucian." She said softly, her voice a gentle one that was a little bit of an oddity coming from a woman who was usually so proud of her own strength, reigning it in as she didn't need to be so strong right now. "Really, thank you. I..." Moira paused, looking down at the floor, taking in a deep breath and holding it before exhaling, "I'm in your debt now...is there anything I could do to repay you?" her voice was still quiet as she asked, slowly looking up to his face.

He sighed, closing his eyes, trying to think about what he needed to do. How he could possibly get Moira to the next city with him. She wouldn't be able to fly....... He paused. Fly. No, he distinctly remembered she had wings, pink ones like Nana. He exhaled shakily once more, pain in his very breath as his face showed strain. He could barely handle realizing all the things they probably did to her. He had wished he had stayed closer to his siblings, had he known..... He paused, realizing he probably would have been long dead if he had been captured by Haven too. The infamous research center was definitely one of legends, spoken like a passed-down horror story between Metas. Her voice broke through his racing thoughts as he forced his eyes to look at her. She was thanking him, he couldn't help but smile in almost desperation of the whole situation, on the verge of laughter as he lowered his head in a slight embarrassment. "It's fine, you don't owe me anything. It's kind of what I do now, I help Metas and fight for Metas rights in the renegade under Zaku Shiori." he gave a relaxed sigh with a smile and his gaze softened at her. "You're free now, and you can do whatever you want with that."

Moira let out a sigh and seemed to deflate a little bit, soon hunching with how she sat, making herself look not so tall and not so intimidating as she naturally was now. "Thing is, I don't know what to do anymore." she rubbed the right side of her face with her hand, her thoughts still a mess as she was trying to sort out what had just happened as the chemicals that they had used to keep her subdued were still working their way out of her system. "I have no idea how much time has passed, where I am, or even how to get to what I had set up as a home." she slowly sat back up, shifting her torso a bit as she spoke, cracking her back a little as she was able to freely move without any restraints and it was making her very aware how much her body was aching and in need of a proper rest, getting a handful of small cracks and pops as she did so.

"To be honest, the last thing I can remember before I got taken in was that I was walking home from my job at the bar, everything was fine and the like...and then I woke up in a room." As she said the words, Moira looked down at her hand after she had cracked her back. The middle of her forearm where the vein ran was a sickening color of a bruise mixed with the deep purples and maroons; the same colors that the gems that scattered her body had, racing up and down her arm like an intricate lace pattern. "I've had fleeting memories when I was out, had too many thoughts about the past, had ideas on how I could try and talk to the ones that I hated when I was growing up.." she murmured, not wanting to look up to Lucian, her own brother that she had absolutely hated when she was a child.

"I don't know why I got captured..or why they were asking me questions about my family..."

"There's not much to do anymore..." he whispered softly in response. She began to comment on how long she had been gone. "It's... hard to say. I haven't seen you since we were kids. That was.. what, maybe 20 something years ago... Way before the school shut down I guess" he commented idly, trying to just keep the conversation going. He listened to her talk about the last things she remembered. So they didn't even try to recruit her, only stole her away in the night when no one was looking. What a terrible way to be captured by Haven, no one knows where you've gone and what became of you. The thought was making the hair on arms stand on end as it set chills straight down his spine.

She mentioned talking to those she hated when she was growing up and he frowned. Remembering how they fought as children over the affections of their mother, Alice. He perked up a bit as dread hit his stomach hard when she mentioned that Haven was questioning about their family. "What? About... us? Like.. the Broken family? But why?" he questioned, worried about what could come of that. What could they have wanting by knowing more about their family. It was an unsettling notion as he tried to mull over all the details.

Taking in another deep breath, letting it sit in her lungs before slowly letting it out, "I don't know why they wanted to know about us..- she looked back up to Lucian when he said 'us', then it fully clicked. This was her brother, the one that she had hated as a child, but now was not the time for any lingering petty fighting, petty fighting that she had to apologize for, but it was not the time for it at all. She had to figure out what all had transpired before she could fully say sorry for all the things she had done as a child, a very angry child.

Still looking at him, she stared for a moment, "Wait, back up. Twenty something years ago?" her eyes went wide for a couple seconds before she looked around the cabin quickly then down at herself, then back to Lucian. "The school close? What happened? I don't remember it closing at all. I know we have had rocky relations with the humans before I was captured, but I didn't think it would have been enough to close the school.." as she spoke, Moira looked down and ran a hand through her thoroughly knotted hair, "Good gods, how long have I been gone?" she asked quietly as she looked back to Lucian, a mixed look of horror and fear on her face.
