Alifax had almost passed this booth over except - well, that chemistry set looked expensive, and so did the ocular void pipe. The expense was quickly explained away by the fins on the tiny little owner's cheeks, though. Okay. It looked a lot more involved than he wanted to play it, though. Whatever. Free stuff was free stuff. Could he keep these weird heavy balls? ★I'm bowling in the dark!★

At least repeatedly rolling these things would get Alifax a lot of practice exercising his arm. He'd done better this game than in the previous, too, which was helpful to his ultimate goal. ★I'm bowling in the dark!★

Oh, right, there was some other s**t to do. Well - if it earned him a bonus ticket thing...sure, okay. This was the only rate where it'd be reasonable for him to actually get something worthwhile out of this. What exactly was this? Fake FLARPing, he guessed. Okay. It was probably better to hatch FLARPstractions and get...well, essentially the same effect. But who was Alifax to argue with a seadweller? They (she?) were probably scared they'd get hurt, or something. He'd take the glasses; whatever. ☾I'm exploring the Unknown!☽

The simulation started him in some random block. Okay. That was - ah, it was cold. Yay. Also his viewport kept swaying strangely, and he couldn't look - ah. He'd fallen. The view had turned black. Was this it? Short, if you asked - ahhh, okay. His game body wiggled strangely and a loud crash sounded in his auricular sponge clots. The simulation was not over. What was he supposed to do, then? Attempts to move his game-limbs were only met with more...stupid wobbling.
It was a cutscene, he guessed. That was okay. His limb quickly hit something hard but - transparent? Okay, it was glass of some sort. The game was attempting to impart knowledge of how the combat system worked. He kept punching it, relieved to see that he seemed to actually be in control now.
Of course, punching a glass wall was still pretty stupid. Maybe he should look around first?
...okay. looking over. He hadn't had to look far to realize he was encased in the glass, and there was sopor slime, presumably, sludging around near his knee level. Punching the glass was actually the best course of action.
Once the glass had been thoroughly shattered Alifax exited and began a careful, but thorough, search of the room. Open this cabinet, that drawer - what? This was a room escape, right? The cardinal rule of rule escapes was to touch everything. He'd already seen the keypad. Presumably the passcode would be easily written somewhere. That was how room escapes worked, for some unfathomable reason.

The adrenaline rush was just what she needed.
