"Yes - no. It's - " she sighed. "Complicated."
The ginger had mixed feelings about her own star but didn't know how to explain it. "I can show you, if you want?" It'd been a while, she hadn't gone 'home' since she'd taken Regulus there to escaped Labyrinthite. "You don't have to attend to it, I don't really know how one does because...it's a mess." Destruction, ruin, a reminder of everything that'd been taken.
"It can be very disorienting." The sudden hit of memories were always the worst, they were sporadic and, in her experience, painful.
"They won't if I have anything to say about it." Denebola said firmly. She'd die before she let them destroy Earth like they'd destroyed everything else. "I don't - I don't know if they can be destroyed, but they have to be containable." What was good without evil? What was life without balance.
"You don't have to fight, but if you do, you don't have to do it alone."

He was interested, in spite of himself. "I think I would be curious to see what exactly another 'homeworld' would look like, yes," said Hermes. "How exactly does one get to this...place? Is there some sort of device that allows a human being to travel to space and back without all of the science?"
There were too many questions and not enough answers, though not from Denebola's lack of trying. Hermes caught the strength of tone as she spoke of the Negaverse and gave her a glance, a curiosity flickering across his vision briefly. A wind rustled past them, rifling through his hair.
Hermes considered for a long moment what she was telling him, the choice in front of him.
"I think I would like to fight," he said finally. "I can't say I feel entirely well versed in...all of this." Hermes waved a hand. "But I don't really fancy the prospect of these Chaos people taking over and destroying any of this world."

"Magic." That was the easiest answer even if it wasn't a complete answer. "There's a conduit, the phone you've been given by the cat but it's more than that too." It was easier to show than to explain Denebola thought. "We can go now or - we can go another time."
She didn't know what time it was or if it'd be wise to go now, but she would if he asked.
"I don't think any of us will ever be fully versed in this." Things were always changing; new developments and information coming to light. "But I like to think that it's manageable when you've got people to stand by you.

"I see."
He didn't really see, mostly because Hermes was nothing if not scientific. Not having a reliable, solid explanation to things was a frustration he would have to learn to live with if the answer to most things Order was going to be magic. He lifted a hand and smoothed fingers through his hair, still frowning a littl in thought.
"Later," Hermes said, after some consideration. "So that I have time to acclimate to all of..." He waved another hand. " - this. But the offer is appreciated."
A small sigh escaped, and he dropped both of his arms again.
"You're particularly informative, so thank you for that," said Hermes. "More so than that cat, of course. I assume by your statement that you have people to stand by you?"

"It'll be better if we can go earlier too," Denebola paused in consideration. "If you're wanting to stay an extended period of time, then it's wise to bring a bag of supplies." Her homeworld at least offered nothing outside of shelter. "When you're ready though, I'll take you."
The dragonfly senshi never seemed to have qualms about showing others Denebola.
"I would hope so, I've been doing this for a long time." Almost seven she mused. "I do. I didn't always, but I do now and it just - it makes a difference."

He wasn't sure if he wanted to go for an extended period of time, necessarily, but at least he wanted to go for enough time to learn of what exactly it was. Hermes gave a nod of assent to Denebola, his mind already working to figure out where to go from here.
"I suppose, at some point in time, it would be beneficial to have more than one person to rely on," said Hermes, thinking this through aloud, as though the concept was foreign to him - which, for the most part, it was. Even as Julian, he did not have friends; there was no time nor reason for him to have any, after all, not with all that he had to do.
Hermes' gaze flickered back to Denebola, glancing at her uniform first, then back up to her face.
"Is there anything else I should know before visiting my homeworld or finishing my patrol for the evening?"

For a long while all Denebola had had was her civlilan family and later - she had Arsinoe. Now she had Celsus, Corvus, Altais, Regulus, and she'd go far enough to consider Kam and his alter-ego by her side. She certainly had issues with some of her companions that they were working on resolving but -
She'd built a little family, an Ohana as Cordelia had put it one day.
"You'd be surprised at the difference it can make." Denebola replied. Hermes' gaze flicked across her uniform and she frowned at him, clearly confused about the motion before she shook her head.
"No - wait, yes. Be careful, sometimes you remember memories that are but aren't yours. I don't know what yours will be like but," she heaved a sigh, "they feel real and can be really painful." Hers had been so far. "Don't power down too close to home and be aware of anything that tingles your senses as wrong. You'll know, you just have to concentrate and - Try and summon your phone, I want to give you a contact number."

He wondered about it, about having more than himself to think of. It was such a foreign, inexplicable concept that it was almost unheard of in Hermes' world - but that didn't mean he wasn't curious about it. Change was inevitable, after all, wasn't it?
He frowned at Denebola's words, this time out of concern.
"Do you mean here on earth, or at my homeworld?" Hermes asked. He concentrated for a moment, using what knowledge and energy he could remember until the phone appeared in his long, pale fingers, Hermes lifting it to extend to Denebola.
"I will remember that, however, to not power down to close to home."

"Homeworld," she clarified.
Gloved fingers carefully pulled the phone from Hermes hands and after a few swipes and some quick typing she'd handed it back to him. "If you need me or need to reach me, call. If you get into serious trouble, there's an sos button. Use it."
Denebola had a knack for showing up where she was needed just in time but -
She wanted him to be prepared. "Try not to power up too close either. Aura is vague and can't give you a precise location, but it can give an idea. The larger the aura, the more dangerous. So, please, be careful."

Memories on his homeworld was a strange concept. Hermes was trying to figure this out, trying to put together the pieces of a puzzle that he did not have the entire picture of, but it would seem he needed more than this to understand how the senshi worked.
He put it aside for now, and accepted the phone back from Denebola, giving her a nod of understanding as the phone disappeared back to where it had come from.
"No powering up near to where I live will hopefully ensure that none who aren't meant to are aware of where I reside," said Hermes, reciting this to memory, an important detail. "I assume that goes for anywhere important to me, and anywhere that I don't want Chaos."

All things considering, Denebola felt like Hermes was taking things well. Or as well as someone could when they were getting an overload of information at one time.
"Pretty much," she replied.
She didn't tell him that sometimes there wasn't a choice. She didn't say, be careful. He would learn even if she tried to keep him from learning the worst too soon.
"Don't be afraid to call," she insisted. "Are you - will you be okay getting home?"

Their time together was winding down, it seemed. Hermes felt much better informed now than he had before, his mind already sorting through the information given to him and sorting it into the proper places. He gave Denebola a nod of understanding and acceptance.
"I'll be fine," he assured her, inclining his head towards her. "I appreciate your assistance very much in this matter."
After a pause, Hermes said,
"You'll get home safely as well, I presume?"
He thought she probably would, but it was polite to ask nonetheless.

Denebola regarded Hermes for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, I should be fine," she replied. "It's been a quiet night."
Quiet nights always made her uneasy, because it left her wondering what the hell the Negaverse was doing. But the invasion had likely left him in a state of disarray and maybe they were still recuperating. Or at least, that's what she hoped they were doing.
Denebola took a step back, reached up and tucked stray hair behind her ears. "Until our space adventure I suppose." She said, turning on her heel and starting to head back the way she'd some.
