Kas glanced back over his shoulder at the two as they spoke, listening quietly, waiting patiently for them to figure things out. He wanted to give the two time to decide on exactly what they wanted to say or to figure out what they even thought about the matter. Rushing things, after all, was a good way to push people away from things. Especially when it came to something as important or serious as this could very well turn out to be. After a few moments he paused, turning his gaze forward again. He watched as the few people that were out that night moved along the other side of the street, their side still mostly vacant, for the moment, which was a good thing honestly.
'I guess the question now, is exactly what to say about this...I could just throw it all to the wind and tell them straight out...people do tend to dislike cryptic sorts of things...Oh..do I suddenly feel rather old. Thinking like that.' He thought to himself, shaking his head just slightly. Taking just a moment to think on everything he'd heard, he sighed softly and turned to face the two, crossing one arm over his chest his elbow resting on it as he brought his hand up to place his fingers on his chin in thought. He didn't miss the way Nolan suddenly turned his gaze towards the ground, nor did he miss the fact that he was shaking, as though scared, or nervous. Slowly, he let his hand fall, now crossing both of his arms instead of just the one as he looked between the two. At least he knew the information had left an impression on them, whether they thought he was serious or not.
"First and foremost, Nolan, you are not a bother to either of us. I invited you along didn't I, and Dija said it was fine that you came along with us as well. So no worries necessary on that, alright?" He offered with a smile, before he turned his focus back on the conversation at hand. He wasn't sure how long they would have to discuss this, being out on the streets and all, and he wanted to try and get some of the information out at least before something came up. "I suppose that in your saying I am rather passionate about the subject...you might be correct. On top of that, I have to honestly agree with you. Hinas most likely would not be left alone, if some sort of situation were to rise up that would make this city seem like an important asset to have."
".. From either perspective Hinas would definitely look like a good vantage point. From where it sits directly between all the other cities? It would be a wonderful thing to own. Not to mention, you are correct, as I said, the city would change drastically if this were the case." He said, sighing softly, shifting on his feet. Exhaustion seemed to hit him again, suddenly, as he let his hands fall to his sides. "I am glad though, that even if this might be a hypothetical situation, you two seem to think this wouldn't be a good thing. Whether it was spoken out loud or not. Your reactions alone are enough to tell me if your words do not. I am curious as to what your thoughts are on this though Nolan. You seem to be keeping quiet.."
"I can at least say though...that I would feel the same, in a situation like that....I am just glad there is someone else out there that at least agrees with me on that...But to be honest with you here....this subject? It might just be a little less..." Kas let his words cut off suddenly as he heard the sound of footsteps rushing towards them, and his gaze shot over in the direction they were coming from. Eyes narrowing slightly, he watched as a small group of people went running by them, coming from something that looked like a theater or arcade. It appeared as though there had been some kind of event, and people were starting to move along the sides of the streets on their way to their vehicles or homes. He slowly looked over the crowd, and though it wasn't too large of one, he suddenly felt a bit unsure about the situation. Turning back to the two, he smiled a bit, the expression slightly tense.
"Well...it probably isn't so hypothetical. But, maybe we should wait till another time to talk about this, yes? I'm sure we could all use some rest, and it seems I have made the mistake of choosing a bad time and place to talk about this....Though..of course, whether we continue this conversation or not will be up to the two of you....Where to meet however is the question though..." Shifting on his feet, he looked to the side, trying to think of a good place they could meet. After a few moments he blinked, and laughed a bit, lightly. Right. Of course. Why didn't he think about that right away? Reaching into a pocket, he pulled out a pen, scrambling to find some kind of paper he could use to write on. He found a scrap with a note he'd written himself earlier, and tore a strip of it off, before moving to use the side of a building as a smooth surface. Quickly he jotted down the address of the spa, and turned to hand it to Nolan with a smile.
"If you are interested in hearing more, or you want to ask questions, please, stop by any time. Dija already works there with me, and we can meet there and talk about it some night...of course...that is if you two even want to know more...If not...that's fine with me. You don't need to worry too much about it....I would understand." Smiling a bit, he waited for the other to take the slip of paper, before he moved back a few steps.
"For now though..perhaps we should all head home, yes? Or to wherever it is you two need to be of course. I know I could use some sleep. Today has just not been kind to me."
