"Maybe you'd know better than me," he said with a helpless shrug.

"But I wouldn't turn down a drink. My hours are a little weird, but we'll figure it out."

He looked a little more ready to turn around and head back into the station, now that it was clear there'd a part two. Of many, maybe. Who knew. "Hey, I'm glad you had all that stuff to donate to the drive."

His brow arched again, but he let it go. Lucas could argue the finer details of Rylan's attributes but it would probably be better to do that over a beer.

He also took a step back, pausing once more. "Me too, Chief, me too. Hey, I had to leave my number for donations, so uh -- go ahead and let me know your schedule, if you're up for it." Lucas offered Rylan an out; the man was way out of his league as it were. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Rylan -- and you, Fidget." His smile cast towards the dog was earnest, if not adoring, before his gaze flickered to Rylan.

"Be seeing you, Mr. May." Lucas grinned cheekily, offering him a casual, two-finger salute before going on his way, humming brightly.
