I was thinking about minigames such as gold fish scooping, name the constellation like the one in Aries and Scorpio's room two years ago (unless this world has different constellations?), maybe a blind box thing too! For contests, something like draw a scene based on the festival, and write a haiku related to the event would be entertaining biggrin

Hey, I'm looking at the summer(?) event and it seems pretty heavily focused on Pokemon Go, so I worry that our event won't really fit there. Do we want to put it in a regular RP forum or something instead? It might appeal more to people there.

I am not sure, but I think this is just a mini event, and not the full summer event. Right now Gaia is busy with comicon (I hope I spelt that right), and they hinted a while back there would be a rejected olympics. That also does not totally fit our plot, other then it being summer.
I wish Gaia would give people a little advance notice.

I am not sure, but I think this is just a mini event, and not the full summer event. Right now Gaia is busy with comicon (I hope I spelt that right), and they hinted a while back there would be a rejected olympics. That also does not totally fit our plot, other then it being summer.

Mm, yeah. Granted, rejected olympics would have a larger group of people coming to it because it's one of those events that was around before everything went to s**t.
As long as it's summer themed I think we could get away with it. Like if we title our plot thread something like "Alien Summer Bonfire Festival" (I'm just pulling this out of my a** rn so by all means a better title would be more than welcome), it could draw some people in, and at the very least if we put something in the description to tell people it's done by AURB Planning Guild members as a prequel to the Ball itself it could bring some people to the actual ball.
I think we should just be grateful they give any notice at all tbh, knowing Gaia they'd probably be perfectly happy to just not run this hell site at all lmao

As Mae said there might be a rejected olympics soon so we could go for that if that's going to be the summer event. If not I think we should just go for the RP Forum and hope for the best

The only direction I really had for it was to emulate the feelings of a bonfire on a summer evening, so like lots of rich, dark hues, accompanied by gold accents for the whole 'fancy alien elf' thing?? Oh dude, that kind of environment is perfect (if I get time to do art i may use that environment as the main reference). I think if you do that kind of aesthetic with a more red/purple/orange hue, that would be exactly what we need.
Feel free to post finalised stuff here btw. Might as well keep it all in one spot. :>

That reminds me, did we ever talk about the color our crystals will glow? Since you mention that color scheme, purple sounds interesting.
