xBlaise stared intently at Kage, her face seemed kind as she had so far looked genuinely concerned about Andy. "Well, I mean, it's Andy. She had a lot of boyfriends. But she at least had someone who loved her back... Not sure if I should say here.." she slid her eyes to Ree, but then shook her head. "Well, I did promise I'd be an open book if I got to talk to you, so I guess I owe you a name... It's Zaku." she listened to the rest of what he had to say as her face softened into a solemn one. "Did you even ask her.. if she wanted this new life?... Just curious. Because I know Andy.... I just feel like she wouldn't have truly wished for a new life, no matter how shitty the one she did have. So was that her choice... or yours?" she never showed a slight bit of anger or resentment for what he was saying. Only focusing on Andy and understanding exactly the situation involving her. Blaise raised an eyebrow and smiled as he mentioned falling in love with Andy. "That happens..." she commented bluntly with a slight chuckle. She knew how Andy was, and the past she did have, and how her powers affected others.

"Zaku, the leader of the god damn renegade?" Kage asked in both anger and surprise after Blaise told him that Andy had loved another and had her feelings returned before him. He heard her second question and responded, "Yes and No. I asked her what she would want if she didn't have to fight anymore. I asked her what she would want her life to be, but she wasn't given the choice. I wasn't either, it was Maras' decision to erase her, a test for me to join SIU." He frowned and took a step back, "We were supposed to tell her yesterday, but you lot sure chose a hell of a good time to come rescue her. The thing I don't get though is why surrender if you were trying to break out Andy anyways?" Kage glanced at Ree and then back to Blaise, "So, why did you do it? Why betray your group and give up on saving your sister just to question me?"

xMara's decision. She took note of that, but didn't react. So Andy wasn't given a choice, just as she suspected. Interesting. Very interesting. Then the accusation that they were there to rescue Andy. Honestly, the lot of them hadn't even considered that Andy would still be alive. So it was honestly quite a coincidence to have run into her the way they did. Kage was questioning her motives, and she smiled. "Because I genuinely love my sister... despite the fact that she did hate me. I'll be honest, they weren't after Andy. They were after Melody. So once I saw that Andy was here and that she was alive, I did what I could to be with her. I honestly thought she had defected us. Well, them. So I did too. But as my further suspicions have confirmed, that's not exactly the case." her face became seriously, a determination that reflected the way Andy used to. They were sisters after all. "I want to be with my sister. So if she is with you all.. then I want to be there with her. I'll even keep up with whatever story you've spun for her." she spoke sternly, unwavering. "I love Andy, dearly. If she is truly happy here.. and with you.. then I want to be here with her."

Kage just listened to Blaise allowing her to finish talking. He looked at her and shook his head, "It may not be that simple, chances are Mara will have you forget as well especially if you are willing to betray that easily. I'll let her know though assuming Ree doesn't tell her first." He looked over to the other Meta in the room that had remained silent thus far. Kage glanced at the time and then looked to the door, "I have to get back to Andy, I'll let you take it from here Ree. If she needs to be wiped it can wait until tonight." Without waiting for an answer he headed towards the doorway worried about Andy and how she would react when she awoke, if she hadn't already.

xBlaise smiled and nodded. "It was nice talking to you.." she spoke softly. After Kage had left the room, she turned her attention to Ree. "I just want my sister to have the best life possible... and if you can provide that here, I want to help. I do it for her." she explained then sighed. "Obviously, I'd rather you... or Mara,... didn't decide to erase my memories. I can offer a lot. And despite my betrayal of the renegade... as long as Andy is allied with you, you have nothing to worry about with me." she suggested, hinting that they'd have to keep Andy as an ally to buy her loyalty. "I will help do what I can to keep her allied... like I said, I just want her to be happy. I'm sure you can understand that..." she looked to the ground with a frown. She just wanted Andy to have a good chance at a better life, something she seemed to threaten with her existence back into her life.

Snake. Ree uncrossed his arms and looked after Kage before her turned his attention back on Blaise. " That was intresting...you played him like a fiddle and he didn't even notice it " he said quietly turning to look back at her closely, she disturbed him but he couldn't put his finger on why excatly. She looked calm, smiling maybe a hint of nervousness.... Not the reaction of someone who was worried about her future. Something wrong with her... The type of person who would laugh being showered in blood. He couldn't tell if it was his intuition or his healing power catching that. " Curious..." He said quietly and turned away without answering her question, heading toward the door. He would suggest her memory be erased as much as he hated that option. Andy had been angry but this one was poking his instincts and he didn't want to stay. Assuming what she told Kage was true then they had enough information without him asking more..if they wanted more they can go ask themselves.

"Its pretty easy when you try hard enough." she said in a low voice, then suddenly started laughing. She smiled at him, "That's what you expected, right? For me to suddenly reveal how I'm so two faced because I'm the enemy and can't be trusted? Haha that's pretty funny. But I assure you, I kept my promise about telling you everything. Its all true. I want my sister to be happy. And I'll do anything to see that happen. Its not like I'm doing anything substantial with my life... Believe me or not. Doesn't matter. Andy is always my priority." she went back to a solemn look. "Don't you have family that youd risk your very life to protect?... Think about that.. And I guess I'll talk to you later. Or not. I'm not your boss. Just your willing prisoner."

Ree stopped and glanced back with dead eyes void of any amusement or life, more in keeping with his shadow half than the other two. Looking her over he finally turned and headed back to her. " Let's get back to our other questions then. The Murder Squad ..." He just paused watching her as if he would have at some other time would have made fun of it. " How many members, who is their leader , who are their members and what are their objective? " he said moving to circle around Blaise.

Blaise watched him stop and move back toward her. She smiled kindly, never seeming to be uneasy about the situation. Ree started in with the questions and Blaise's face soften as though she was about to laugh again. "Okay, slow down there, firecracker... One question at a time. Don't want to overload a young girl like me..." she chuckled then shifted into a more comfortable position. "Okay, let's see.... How many members.. Four. Tobias, Michael and some kid I'm not exactly acquainted with." she thought for a moment. "Leader?.. I guess Zaku is... We get orders from EE to clean up loose ends or get information.... Well... they do... and I did. " she took a moment to think as she tried to recall the questions. "Uhhh.. right. Objective. Well, like I said. We are the clean up crew. We get orders.... we go clean it up. It's pretty straight forward...."
She watched him circle her, never dropping her playful smile as she titled her head a little. "More questions?" she asked her voice laced with enjoyment as she kept her demeanor kind and welcoming.

He stopped when he was behind her, reaching and attempting to pull four feathers with one grasp of his hand. He had aimed at the black feathers reach the arch of her wing. " What type of things do you..clean up" he said even,y even as he pulled back and away with or without his prize.

Her feathers ruffled lightly as she winced from the pain, "H-hey.. no need to get so rough... I'm already telling you whatever you want.. " she closed one eye, trying to concentrate away from the pain, and also not to passively activate a defense of flames, trying to just remain calm. Taking a breath, she answered, "...people." she stated simply, her voice laced with a twinge of regret. "We were asked to either get info from political heads or sometimes to even kill them. Then again, most of the time it ended in death because Tobias can't stop it. It's too much for him and he loses control. That's how we got the name Murder Squad." she explained through pained breaths, her demeanor still not dropping as she chuckled just a bit, finding her own predicament as a bit humorous.

"So you are all part of a string of mysterious murders ..." He said quietly thinking of one or two new articles where high political figures were found dead in a not so nice way. "Intresting" he said moving maybe a twitch faster than he normally did to get closer to the door. "Cat toys" he shook the feathers in his hands and finally smiled not so nicely. "Unfortunately what is to be done with you falls on our second in command, you will meet him later....I will pass along what you said " he said quietly again as he moved toward the door.

Blaise watched him, eyeing the feathers in his hand as she took a deep controlled breath, trying to keep herself calm. He seemed to taunt her about it, her wing aching pretty badly, stinging from the pain. She forced a smile, keeping the pain in her face to a minimum. "I look forward to talking to your second in command... Maybe we can have a better conversation than this one." she made a small stab but then laughed lightly. "I get it... prisoner... Yeah yeah." she sighed and merely watched him, seeing if he'd exit, timing it in her head his movements, seeing how long it would take before more would come, either more from Ree or from this other person he mentioned. "I'll be waiting."

Ree closed the door behind him and started walking until he was far out of view then let out a breath if relief. That ...was not fun. Pulling out his phone he called the number that was connected to the guest room Kae and Zira were staying in. "Hello, this is Ree, one of Mara's adoptees. Can I speak to Kae?" Should anyone answer.

'Hello, this is Ree, one of Mara's adoptees. Can I speak to Kae?'
Kae twinged with agitation as she paused from working on a device at the desk. She slid her eyes to the phone, letting the message even soak in as she had only heard noise, and not even words, she had been so deep in concentration.
Without hesitation, Zira was already moved to the phone and picked it up, "State your business.."
Kae sighed, then pushed herself away from the desk a bit, holding out a hand to take the phone. Grabbing it from Zira, she placed it in between her shoulder and ear, picking up the device she had been working on to inspect it's progress as she spoke. "This is Kae, what can I do for you?" her voice was blunt and cold, but not that she meant it to be that way. She was just.. busy.. and this was taking time away from what she was working on. She didn't even comment on the unnecessary explanation of being Mara's adoptee. She already knew that, but maybe he didn't. She paused for a moment, curiosity building for why he would even be calling her like this.
