"Girl?...Melody? She is known. We have been meaning to introduce you to her " actually he wasn't sure why they haven't other than Mara had asked him to wait on it. He stared at her intently but she just gave the feeling of concern and anger.

Slowly, he was starting to learn how to read her. "Gi-...." he stopped and took out his phone at the called, sliding it open, Ree. "Hello?" he waited as he reached out and typed in the pass-code for Hexxis's room. He watched the door jam clicking off and on. "....." putting the phone against his ear and shoulder he started pulling it open. Noticing the faint outlines of Hexxis's fist on the door and raises an eyebrow at her. "Hello?" he asked again pulling it back to notice the connection on but cut. He hanged up and checked the texts and the one who called him.

"............ You're right. Or someone put her up for this type of prank. " he said sharply looking up at her, his eyes widening slightly in alarm. "Dont eat the cookies. Seems quite a number of people had turned into children" what would -that- do to someone who was already a child. Mara must be furious by now, they would be vulnerable until they figure out what happened. Ree ...eat likely ate both. "...." he let out a sigh. "Lets go meet Mara" he said quietly to her, looking carefully still one last time for a Malice.

Sirens suddenly started ringing as a child's voice called over the intercom. "Code Red! We're under attack. All personal to protected areas. Others battle stations. Efficious Eight member sighted. Lucien! Front Lobby" The security guards turned children stared at the video screens as they locked themselves inside. All communications were down and they couldn't find Mara so this was the fastest way.

Mara froze staring in the direction of the Lobby. Sh**...Sh**Sh**Sh**Sh**!!!!!!! as she turned to run toward the storage area where her armor was. She ran three steps and realized that ...she wouldn't fit. Tri she can call him. Turning on her phone she blinked as she got the "no signal" . "...........oh for freaking sake! " a feeling of dread running through her...this was planned and they were in trouble a lot of trouble. Glancing out the window she could see people running from the middle of the corridor...there was no screaming but the children were tense trying to head toward the protected area...not their stations. Good .... now if she could only find the ones she needed..even Kage! .... what if they were children too? damn it "Damn them..." she hissed hitting the wall as she stared at her feet. She had only more option to waylay Lucien... she doubted he was the main danger either.. likely a decoy but if she cou;dn't even communicate with her people! going to the security office would be the smartest move but not the one that would help anyone now if Lucien decided to start snipping off those human who ere now children. Did this count as an emergency? .... yes yes it did. She just hoped no one ever figured it out.

Moving down another corridor heading toward the lobby darkness swarmed with her as she stopped at a cross corridor and waited as it swirled into the form of armor (Black Dragon Armor) around her including a helm. With so many new meta here and the fact many people were children she hoped that would keep her safe. It also tightened the baggy clothing to her frame as she took off at a run toward the Lobby. "YOU!" she shouted catching sight of glowing wings. ///wait.... sh**// She shook her head and summoned two barely outlined shaped dual guns (Dancing Guns), barely stopping herself from jumping over the rail and killing herself or at least ow from this distance..her armor felt weaker than usual. -That- would have been pitiful. She started shooting at Lucien as she made her way toward the stairs and down.

Ree flared his wings, eye wide as he heard the announcement and the freaking shrill whine of the alarm. EE? here? ......."Melody" he said quietly, turning on his heals as he headed toward Hexxis's cell and started to run to where Melody's room was. Mira slept in the same bed with the renegades, the Renegades would be here... if not for Melody then for Andy....Melody was a lot closer. He shook of his shoes and raced tdown the halls.

Melody yelped as the window shattered, and she drew back. She wasn't sure what was happening. Suddenly the sirens started going off, and an announcement that they were under attack. She began to panic, but then she heard the name on the intercom. Lucian. No, she refused to go with them. She didn't want to go back. Still terrified, her body froze up in midair. "..no.." she closed her eyes tightly."Get away from us!!!" she screamed as shadows burst forth from the floor and slammed into "Ree", knocking him into Michael as they both were knocked from the window. Melody took the opportunity to run to the door, throw it open and run at full speed down the hallway, panicking as she didn't even know where to go to try to be safe. "MARA!!" she cried out, trying to figure out where to go to find her.

Andy smiled wider, shifting her eyes away a bit embarrassed but then looked back to him with a bit more devious grin. "You're so sweet.." she commented softly, walking closer to him and leaned in to kiss him. She placed a hand up through his hair, getting more heated in the situation. Suddenly, the sirens started in, Andy didn't seem to flinch or even care like she couldn't hear it, it wasn't until the announcement was made that she twinged in agitation, '..mara?..' she wasn't sure, it sounded like a kid honestly, as she pulled herself back from Kage, frowning as she listened to the voice alert the danger. Andy's eyes widened in a bit of terror and her stomach turned hard as they announced the Efficacious Eight was attacking. Why? Why would they attack them? This was everything she feared. "We have to help." she stated sternly, determined to to what she could to aid. "We need to find Mara." she slipped her hand into his, letting him lead the way she she didn't know the facility that well.

"Attack? Efficacious?! LUCIAN?!!?" her anger was building as she took off running for the lobby. "Zira, defensive mode. Standby for combat activation on my command. Lobby, now. Stop Lucian!"

"Melody needs to leave!" she retorted as Tri seemed to have trouble with the door. After the door was pulled open enough for her to get through, she looked like she was about to take off running down the hallway but then Tri suggested they go see Mara. Her face lit up with a slight confusion on why they weren't pursuing he girl. "No. The girl." she stated, defiantly. She suddenly caught a glimpse of something at the end of the hallway behind Tri and she paused, narrowing her vision as she stared down the hallway. "Access Level 1 Start." she stated simply, staring and on guard, lowering herself a bit as though she was ready to take off running at a moments notice.

/Michael is in extraction, standby for reroute./

It was taking a lot out of him to be using his telepathy so much, being the hub for their communications in absence of radios and phones.

Lucian made his way toward the hallway that would take him on his determined route when a small voice rang out. YOU!! it was a child in armor, and he almost laughed but ignored the kid to keep running. That is, until gunshots. He snapped his attention upward to the child with two guns, quickly trying to use telekinesis to move the bullets, realizing much too late that they weren't normal bullets, and were in fact made of darkness. The first shot hitting him the stomach, as it actually penetrated skin and embedded there. "AHH!" he screamed out and winced as he stumbled lightly and forced himself to keep running despite the pain. The other shots ricocheting lightly off of other surfaces around him. <******** kid shot me. Some kind of bullets of darkness. It's not strong, but enough that it's stuck. ******** hurts. God dammit!/

Blaise has been waiting near one of the walls where they were supposed to extract the girl at this point. Suddenly, she heard Lucian's distress in her mind. She hesitated, not knowing whether she should go to aid him or if someone else already would. She began to walk calmly toward the building. She opened the door and walked in, as though everything was normal.

Ree moved fluidly through the group of children who were only trying to get to one of the safe areas... only a few were actually trying to head toward battle stations even if in the form they were now. He could smell the fear as the looked at him then toward the lobby while he continued on toward Melody's room, if any more EE members were here they would be heading there.. if they didn't then he would take here elsewhere unless she was already elsewhere with her cookie deli-.... holy.

"MARA!!"

Jerking his head up he turned toward the voice, lowered his body slightly and took off running. "Melody!" spotting the familiar looking girl up ahead with a sense of relief, he got here before them. He moved toward her and slowed he didn't even know if she would remember him, they barely interacted and she had passed out when he had rescued her...then he was this size. "Come!" he waved to her realizing they were mostly the same size now.

"...Is anyone after you?" he looked past her, his wings lifting slightly with a combination of anticipation, anger and a bit of fear...why would she be calling for Mara otherwise. Shaking his head he looked around, run... running was better. "Lucien is here... likely after you. We need to head toward ..." what was last place they would even look?. He nearly chuckled but didn't, bathroom...male bathroom to be exact. The rush through enemy territory looking for a girl, they might avoid the place just because it might not cross their mind she would hide there. But they needed to hurry ".....bathroom?"

he motioned off to a corridor and looked at her, not sure how she would react either to his appearance or suggestion just as a wave of intimidation hit him. He staggered for a moment with a gasp that shook his wings as Kage's voice went on the intercom. Mara? where was she? ..... damn it they would be better meeting up but running around would just get them in trouble. He resisted flaring his own aura and grimaced toward Melody. This might have given them more time though.

Tri frowned, finding Melody would not be a bad thing right now. "Fine" Mara can take care of herself as long as she was careful and wearing her armor and they would be heading toward her soon.

"Access Level 1 Start."

He snapped his head toward her then followed her line of sight, turning narrowing his eyes at an empty corridor. Trusting his instincts he took a step forwad "Go " he said softly as he pulled darkness toward them, to engulf the entire corridor. (darkness manipulation) Until the intimidation hit them, he stiffen dread compounded as he heard Kage's message. She was not with him..he did not know where she was...but their aura. He flared his aura, extending it as far as Kage's to settle a second cap of dread over the compound.

She growled softly jumping the last 5 stairs and ran after him, the scream he let out sent a surge of adrenaline through her as she put on more speed barely feeling the drain as she chased him taking aim and shooting now and then.Was that blood? good!. But he was much to far to use her other weapons ...and it was taking her quite a bit to pull away and -think- instead of just chasing what could be bait.

The hallway ahead lead toward the offices but there was one door to the right that would lead into the main corridor and the rest of the facility..but wold he know that? She grinned with the anticipation, doubting he did.

She nearly stumbled as she felt the sudden sense of dread wash over them and Kage's voice. Like a switch the fear turned to anger, the events of the day Andy woke up still fresh in her minds. The second wash of dread did little to help as let one of her guns disappear only to have it be exchanged with a huge claw that hovered over her right shoulder(Claw). She reached out with it to grab a wooden chair and threw it after Lucien. " STOP you ******** b*****d!! " wondering what the hell Kage was doing...call -him- and get -him- killed?! the untrained newbie? no thanks. She might die but s**t if she was going to take one of those under her protection with her.

Melody was panicked, running directionless through the facility, trying to put as much distance between her and her pursuers. Ree called to her and she gave pause with a worried look as she turned to him suddenly. It took a moment, but she recognized his features. She ran straight toward him, feeling he was the safest option. "They came to my room! They were going to take me!" she explained quickly, deep fear in her voice until dread hit. She went to draw back but he had grabbed her hand and was pulling her along somewhere. She merely followed, trusting him since he had seemingly been the one who saved her before. He had kept her safe, she hoped he still would.

Andy had been dragged into some kind of weapons hold. A wide variety of weapons, as Kage seemed to zone in on a suit readily avaiable for use. She had gotten temporarily distracted by the weapons, her eyes fell on a sniper rifle that she eyed it with intrigued. The thought was broken as Kage handed her a handgun and then took her hand to take off elsewhere. All the why, the thought of the sniper rifle never left mind and she couldn't understand why but shook the idea out and continued following Kage.

/I'm a little busy being chased by some hellion child with guns!/

He arrived at the end of the cooridor, having to make a choice. Right or Left. No. He turned around suddenly to see her see him hurl the chair. He'd had enough of this child, he teleported the chair right before it hit him to just in front of Mara, momentum still going but now straight at her [Psyonics]. Using the chair itself as a distraction, as he lunged toward her, isolating light into his bright, so bright, intending to break through her shadow and even temporarily blind her, he was so angry about it all [Glow Worm]. He then reeled back his other arm, his hand engulfed in flames as he brought his fist to punch her, not intending to stop [Flame On].

Zira suddenly melted up from the floor, sliding her hands beneath his arms and moving her hands back around to behind his head into a hold. "Apprehended."

Kae jumped over a low railing, and onto her feet she ran into the lobby, then looked around for Lucian but she couldn't see him. Growling angrily she picked a corridor and ran down it. "I swear to THE GODS, LUCIAN!!" she screamed.

The moment the word go was uttered from his lips, she took off running full speed down the hallway. As she rounded the corner, she spotted the flame-haired meta walking away, gritting her teeth as she bridged the gap quickly and tackled her, rolling her over and instinctively drew back her arm to punch her, but hesitated.

Kate was taken by surprising, slamming down the ground and rolled over. She moved her hands to protect her face from the blow but noticed Hexxis hesitate as Kate noticed her eye patch and glared hard, and her skin stared to gleam into a metallic silver coating. She pushed Hexxis hard, coming to the stand, and then turning to kick Hexxis as hard as she could into the wall beside them. .

Hexxis had tried to move back before she was kicked, noticing her skin changing. She wasn't able to move back far enough as she put of her arms to block the blow from her face, slamming her into the wall beside them. She coughed hard then covered her mouth suddenly. Hexxis forced herself to swallow as she seemed slightly panicked but started to back up as Kate started in on trying to hit her again.

She was getting annoyed as she summoned several knives to hurl at her, the knives stabbing firmly into the ground and walls and eventually caught Hexxis' sleeve and pinned her to the wall while other knives then concentration on just that, keeping her clothes pinned to walk from Hexxis.

Some part of Ree's mind was surprised Melody would follow him at all after what had originally happened and the strong feeling in the area. Fear...it sometimes brings out the best and worst of a person. Hurrying he pulling her into one of the corridors heading toward the bathrooms, hoping EE hadn't taken security over.

Pulling her inside the men's bathroom he let go and closed the door glancing toward stalls, even leaning to the side to look under them before turning toward a second door. One that held janitorial supplies and was unlocked. "Melody... who gave you those to pass out cookies? " he said clenching his teeth as he started to push away supplies until he could reach the back of the closet and motioned her to come closer, pointing to the back that held some brooms, pans, mops, sticks and other odds and ends. It smelled of cleansing supplies but luckily none of them had dripped or spread over the grit encrusted linoleum of the closet. "Hide here. Come out only when the alarms turn off.... even then be careful. we might not be the ones to turn them off...in which case you are likely on your own" he said thought clenched teeth, winged tightly furled against his back. He needed to get back, find out what is happening.. help them fight because right now with the duel auras he might be one of the few who could.

Mara only had enough time to widen her eyes in surprised before she was hit back with the chair she just threw with about 110lb of force. She actually flew backwards a bit before landing on her back with a gasp of pain, her armor took most of the blow but it was still a large blow for this size, stunning her for a moment. "...." She placed one hand down to get up as Lucien jumped her.

Fear and anger ran though her as she reached to try and grab him with her Claw..only to have it fade as it touched the Angel meta... including her armor... her helm disappearing part of the way and bits of her shoulder as she tried to keep it together but the light was much stronger blinding her ..making her shut her eyes if she wanted to save her vision. She even tried to shoot him again, only for it not to work as her gun faded in the light. Fear was wining now she tried to escape, unable to even see.

As Hexxis took off Tri stepped back into his own shadow and disappeared, reappearing ahead in the hallway Hexxis turned into, with all intents of cutting off who ever Hexxis had seen.It was likely one of the changed employees but he rather stop Hexxis from attacking them than being wrong and it being on of the intruders. (Shadow jump)

Tri blinked as he reappeared while Hexxis was being thrown into the wall. Shoot!! He rushed her as the meta threw the knifes still to far from being able to stop them before they hit. His eyes burned angrily with silver light as his wings took on a silver hue then the rest of his body (Cold Light: Offense.) as he tackles at Kate, missing his daggers or at least a knife, as he tries to hit at the back of her head.

Melody frowned with distress as he opened the janitors closet. She was more than willing to comply with hiding, but something in her was resisting the idea. Melody reluctantly stood in the closet, trying hard not to cry in panic. "I didn't do anything.. I was asleep until you knocked on my door... But it wasn't you..." she answered frantically with confusion. He had told her to stay there and she nodded, starting to cry. You are likely on your own. Melody crouched down and covered her face, sobbing quietly to herself.

Hexxis growled as she began to pull pull the knives from her clothes, in an attempt to release herself from the wall. "Metal power identified. Nullifying for 15 minutes." she spoke aloud, turning off Kate's metal skin power [Nullify Power].

Andy nodded in response, letting his hand go and crouching down with gun ready to provide cover fire if needed. She could see two children and an older male fighting in the hallway as then light begin to emit from the guy and she covered her eyes and back up around the corner to shield from it.

Blaise turned the corner calmly, seeing two people standing at the next intersection of the hallway, someone in armor and Oh, what was this, her dearest younger sister? A smile crept across her lips as she saw her holding hands with the person in the armor. Blaise began to walk towards them, a smile still on her face. As she walked up to stand beside Kage and Andy. Taking a glance to Andy and smiled when their eyes met. "Hello Andy.." she greeted, then looked down the hallway to the figures down the hallway, squinting to see who they were attacking. She shrugged and took off running down the hallway. It didn't matter who they had pinned. She didn't even care, as she stopped just before Tri, pushing him off and grabbing Kate by the neck and pulling her up to her feet. Blaise grinned and slammed Kate into the wall, pinning her there. "Sorry, Kate. It's nothing personal." she then punched her in the stomach hard enough to knock her out and then let her go to fall to the floor. Blaise turned to look at Tri, smiled softly then put up her hand. "I'm surrendering willingly."

Lucian was surprised as Zira grabbed him. Her voice sounded so robotic, he took a bargain in the chance she might actually be a robot and concentrated to magnetize and throw her off of him. Just as she, in fact, did just that, being thrown towards what was the angry little girl that was running toward them [Magnetism]. He stayed, pinning down Mara, reeling back to hit the child again with anger but hesitated as he noticed it was girl, his eyes widening and exhaled shakily in panic.

"LUCIAN!!" she screamed in rage as she then was knocked down by Zira being thrown at her. "Seriously?! Zira, move!!" she was furious as she squirmed and slid herself out from beneath Zira, glaring angrily at Lucian from across the room.

Lucian looked up for a brief moment, faintly recognizing the voice. He took a moment to try to figure out who was screaming at him, as he finally pieced it all together. Black hair. Red eyes. Pointed ears. Zira?! More panic setting in quickly as terror coursed through his veins.

/s**t! Kae is here!!! Everyone on retreat, we need to leave!/

Ree stared at her in confusion but then shook his head, he hadn't gone after Melody ....but if It wasn't melody? He pulled off a roll of toilet paper and gave it to Melody apologetically as he started to put all the things bad and hide Melody more. "That was just a worst case scenario, just wait here and we'll be back. We aren't that weak " he gave her what he hope was a confident smile as he pushed a few of the vaccum in front and stepped back closing the door.

This time he turned and headed out, the warning said there was an attack in the lobby , but there were also those who Melody said were in her room. So there were EE members wandering the grounds as well. Pulling out his phone and checked the signal, growling as he got nothing. Bending down to fix his rolled up pants he thought quickly and headed off toward the rest of the base, looking for stragglers to help back to the safe areas...and" ironically" it was also the path leading down to the research area, which he would then guard. Melody would be the one they wanted and she should hopefully be safe there...he was pretty sure putting her inside a room with a bunch of scared humans would be bad for both sides.

Tri clenched his teeth as two of those daggers hit their mark, one deflected by his ribs from going further but still leaving a gash and another only partially embedded near his collar bone. He left his fist where he punched attempting to burn though her shielding when it suddenly dropped and he could touch her skin not only there but where he was trying to push her down. Moment later it didn't matter as someone shoved him off as if he were a child himself without any care to his light. Wings flared and he looked up expecting Ree only to see someone else he didn't recognize pull up the meta and pin her to the wall. As she did so he pulled out the two daggers that were in him and rushed her, attempting to stab her below her rib cage and up with both daggers as she turned and smiled. Kate... Why did she know her name... Teammate. A familiar patten of steps made him perks his ears. "(Original owner) help us here" not realizing it was Kage.

Mara groaned and blinked trying to see through tears and blackness even as the thought that she might had gone blind flash through her. She could feel Lucien straddle her, trying to keep her down. She wasn't sure why he hadn't attacked yet but she knew he was going to..needed to act. She reached out and attempted to grab...and pull out his family jewels.

Andy seemed confused as she looked at Blaise when she passed. She didn't recognize her, face full of confusion as the orange-haired girl knew her name. She watched her run down the hall and attack the EE member. Andy figured she was an ally until she surrendered and Tri attacked her. This is very confusing. That would mean that the girl was EE? And that she knew her? The information now supporting Tri's accusations of Andy being apart of the EE before losing her memories. But, that wasn't important right now.

Blaise did nothing to defend herself as Tri stabbed her in the abdomen. She flinched but kept her hands up. Straining, she exhaled shakily and smiled again. "Okay.. that's fair..." she struggled to force her words out through the pain. "But, I'm serious... I'm surrendering.." she winced more, as she resisted the urge to place a hand on the wound to keep it from bleeding.

Hexxis pulled out the last dagger from her clothes and took a step forward from the wall, to step behind Tri, eyes looking for anyone else but stayed on guard to protect Tri if Blaise or anyone else decided to attack him.

"..You can just restrain me... if you need to.. but this really hurts.. "

"AHH s**t!" he screamed out as the girl grabbed him. Then he heard Michael voice, and then they were suddenly back at the temporary EE hideout. Lucian practically threw himself off of Mara, rolling away in pain. "s**t s**t s**t" he cursed under his breath, doubled over in pain on the floor. <******** kid...ahhh...."
