Yuugo Hegoshi Son of Odin Oh. Hello yes I think I can manage Alec. Yuugo said to Alec who just caught his attention, being a son of Odin the two people's names just popped into his head. And really, is that anyway to treat a teammate Porter? I am a son of Odin after all, plus if I recall the forges are free to everyone to use as long as they provide their own materials, let me guess, I have to "ask" for permission, because cabin 9 is mainly the ones who uses the forge am I correct? Yuugo said knowing that he is correct.

How did the boy know his name when he didn't recall meeting him? Maybe rumors about him were being spread again. And did he just say he was the son of Odin? With the name being somewhat unfamiliar to Alec he figured that Odin was one of the Norse gods. Honestly Alec only really studied up on Roman and Greek mythology so he didn't know that much about the other gods. But the name Odin did sound familiar, which meant that Odin was probably one of the really important gods in Norse mythology.
"Wow, and people say I'm weird," Alec commented, finding how the boy seemed to automatically know a lot to be strange. "Frankly I don't give a damn about what you do in here. This forge isn't technically my turf, as you said it's cabin 9's. So Porter you can take it from here," Alec said as he put his new sword made up of norse, greek, and roman mental back and its sheath. he didn't want Yuugo eyeing it and asking questions so he figured he'd conceal it for now.

Porter grabbed her hammer and threw it through the wall. "I don't care who your parent is. I'm in charge of Cabin Nine and we run the Forge. It is not free to use believe it or not." She looked to Alec and then back to Yuugo. "We have rules and unless you are a child of the forge you can't just come in and get to work." Her joyful side was gone, a rough and meaner demeanor was showing. It was a side that very rarely shown. "The forge is mine to control and schedule work orders. You want to come in and work metals you apply like everyone else." She grabbed a large stack of papers and dropped it on an anvil. "Fill this out and we can see. Think of this place as a domain and I'm it's Goddess. Nothing happens in here without my say so." She turned to Alec. "Remember filling this mess out?"

Yuugo Hegoshi Son of Odin Alright. I know when I'm not wanted. Yuugo said to Porter. Oh! But remember Porter for every anvil there is always a copy making one incomplete Yuugo said as he was heading out.

As Yuugo left a visitor decided to stop by the Forge.
Sitting in Porter's chair was a dwarf who while distracted said to Porter "He's right you know lass." as to get their attention.

She usually only went nuts when a decline was coming up, but it was possible to piss her off in other ways. what Alec assumed was that his previous comments got under her skin and then Yuugo entering here without talking to her about it pushed her over the edge. It wasn't until Porter actually swung a hammer and broke a wall though that Alec decided to say anything.
"You know you're just going to have to fix that right? he said in a monotone type voice to Porter before Yuugo stood up to leave. As the boy started to take off her said some more weird things to which Alec responded, "As I said I don't care if you leave or stay but if you actually cared about your work you'd just fill out the papers."
Now thinking back on his first encounter with Porter Alec almost cringed. Porter approached him looking like a crazy lady because he was touching everything in the forge without having read through the safety regulations and he didn't sign the health waiver. He thought she was even more cold than him, but he later came to find out that she was just like a strict mom.
Once he gave in and signed the papers, some he admittedly never read through, she immediately became more cheery. It wasn't until she saw how good Alec was at making weapons though that she started hounding him, and like with everyone Alec kept trying to push her away but she refused to go. She kept on coming back to him until Alec finally started being ok with her presence. To this day Alec has no idea why she wanted to be friends. He knows it can't be just because he did good work in the forge, but he has never bothered to ask about it.
Before Porter could flip out any further or Alec could take another step a new voice came from behind everyone, and once they all turned they saw a dwarf in Porter's chair. "When did you get here? You know what, save it. This is all getting too weird for me so I'll probably leave too," Alec said as he also started to he'd for the exit.

Porter sighed and pinched her temples. "Look if you want to work on a project fill out the paper work. It is literally a heath waiver and rules to follow. You just literally need to sign it three times." When a voice came from behind she looked over to the Dwarf. "I don't care that he is right, I have a set of rules for in here and want them followed. I'm not going to run to the stables and just jump on a horse and ride. I'm going to let the stable master know what I'm doing so if I get hurt his butt isn't chewed on for my stupidity." She turned and looked back to Yuugo. "One don't be so smug. I'm in charge of the Forge here and work orders get priority over personal items. I have a beginners area ready but just sign the papers so I can tell Chiron you knew what you were getting into okay? Two what I say you do. Until I feel you are skilled enough you will be treated like an apprentice. Three dress in light cloths. It gets hot when you spend hours by a Forge so I don't want you pass out from the heat. Four, drink water regularly in here. Again that's the cool down thing." She grabbed a bundle of an apron, tongues, and a hammer. "This will be your work stuff until you done. Just please sign the papers so my life is easier." She went back to her desk. "So Norse then? You don't look like my father at all."

Ay lass, my name be Brokkr Norse god of the Forge.
And yes I do agree there are precautions to being in the forge, yet Odin with his advanced knowledge don't mind me saying, surpasses that of the Greek Goddess Athena.
Don't worry lass, he'll fill out the paperwork, I'll make sure of it, by giving him a present that I think his old man would want him to have.
Brokkr said as he whiffed up an odd old looking anvil and placed it in the back corner of the forge, it radiated with through blue and white light through each crack in the anvil.
It be his blood right, Odin wants only his kin, and siblings to use this anvil when it's not in use it goes to the lad or lass that is someway related if in need of it, otherwise it'll maintain in Asgard. Now, for why I'm here, I want to see how the ancient sword's twin will come out. Brokkr said, which caught Yuugo's attention

Finding out that the little dwarf was actually some all mighty and powerful being shocked Alec enough that he changed his mind about leaving so that he could investigate the situation more. With wide eyes and a jaw that was partially hung open as if to gasp Alec said, "You got to be kidding me. You're a god?" It was strange seeing a god take on such an appearance. Alec knew that the greek and roman gods typically looked like normal people, so he assumed it was the same for the norse god, but guess not.
"Also why did you come all the way down here to speak for a boy that isn't even your own son? Did Odin threaten you or something?" Alec had never been paid a visit by a god before, not even his own father. He's never even received a sign that his father was watching over him so he always assumed he wasn't. Maybe the Norse gods actually cared a little more about their offspring, that must be nice.
Hearing the words "ancient sword" also peaked Alec's interest so despite usually keeping quite Alec couldn't stop himself from asking even more questions. "You know there's a lost of ancient swords that exist so when you say the ancient sword's twin that doesn't really make it clear what you're talking about. So what is this whole ancient sword twin thing anyway?"

I can see your curious as to why I'm here lad, and as I've stated I'm only here to see the outcome of this blade, the other is said to be a modified sword, as in it used to be a sword, but rumor has it that the materials were altered, as for Odin threatening me. I suppose ye could say that. Odin's mind isn't quite there in most cases but to answer your question lad, ay I was threatened, there be strong forces about, and this is the first time in centuries that this lost "sword" if it even is a sword anymore has made itself known.

Porter nodded as the paperwork was all signed. "Look I don't mind the anvil but he learns the basic first okay? We provide materials for a three inch dagger. Once done he can move on to others. You can literally do it in day." Looking from the God to Yuugo. "You can use my personal space for the Dagger. It just needs to be sharp enough to cut paper. This way you learn some techniques and tools. Minimum time is two hours if you work fast to have a proper one." She turned fully to the God. "You don't help Yuugo, okay? This is for him to learn the basics. You can teach but not do it." She lit up her section. Her tarped cover car visible. "Make it perfect Yuugo and you can see my personal project go straight to the sword." She turned to Alec and smiled. "Alec here knows his blades so he'll judge the dagger."

Yuugo Hegoshi Son of Odin Fine get me the materials, since I'm not going to use my materials to make something don't even want' and thanks but no thanks, I'll use my own anvil, since Brokkr was kind enough to deliver it. Yuugo said a bit frustrated since he never did like school, so testing his worth was like forcing him to relive those days. I won't guarantee anything, I'll make the dagger, but due to the time schedule I want to be out of here before the Harpies start coming around for curfew. Yuugo said, anxious to get started on what he originally wanted to do.

It actually somewhat blew his mind that Porter wasn't phased by the fact that a being appeared out of nowhere, in her chair, and it turned out to be a god. Honestly Porter's chill reaction was actually kind of impressive to Alec. Was she just that focused on the paperwork?
"Ok, so Brokkr was it? So what I am getting from all this is that there was an ancient sword, but that sword might not be a sword anymore correct? If so that makes absolutely no sense," Alec said bluntly and coldly as he sat at the edge of a table and stared at Brokkr. "But anyway this guy here is supposed to make a new sword similar to the ancient 'might not be a sword anymore' sword right?" Alec's tone had become something somewhat mocking at this point because to him the whole deal with the sword seemed completely ridiculous. Yuugo probably didn't know what the ancient sword was, or what it was meant for, yet this god just shows up and commands him to build another one with magical anvil number 2? Really?
