Ree began to explain the situation, their friendship, talking with a bit of laughter. She smiled more genuinely as she was relieved to hear he didn't blame her for whatever it was that happened between them. "I still shouldn't have hurt you... but at least you're okay, right?" she chuckled a bit in return. He was right, she didn't have much reason to trust them, but then again, she didn't have any reason not to trust them either. So far, they cared for her in whatever injury she had sustained and even Kylar said they could be trusted. "It's okay.. I'm just glad I'm among friends." her smile was getting brighter, more optimistic. She shook her head, though still smiling, "You know,.. I thought maybe that would bring back any memories.. but it didn't. I still don't remember you..." her smile faltered and faded as she looked out over the room. "I'm worried that I won't remember... but at least.. I'm not alone, right? I can.. just make new memories!" the optimism washing back into her voice she she turned to him again and smiled wide, "Right?" She started to laugh a bit, "I'm so lost." she laughed more, for some reason finding it funny.
"Sorry... Oh, right, food. Hmmm..." she thought for a moment. "I don't think I'm hungry for food right now.." she then smirked and leaned in toward Ree just a bit, "Okay, don't laugh at me, but I want something sweet. Like cake or something." she was holding back a slight chuckle. Taking a deep breath she managed to quell her inner laughter to sigh with a smile. She didn't know why she was laughing so much, part of her figured it was just a compulsion to cover her nervousness about everything that was happening, fighting fear with humor. Yet, part of her genuinely felt this happy.

Kage nodded, not really paying attention. He knew he was right and besides she was just scared, she wasn't a threat to anyone. He continued half listening to her, his main focus on Ree and Andy still inside of the room. When she questioned the strength of his power he returned all of his attention back to Mara. "No clue." He just shrugged. "I've never channeled that much power before, let alone erased someone that extensively. What happens from here is all new to me as well." He watched her answer the phone and then waved, "Have fun." He watched her leave before returning his attention to the room.
Kage unlocked the door and stepped back inside. He looked at Andy now out of the bed and sitting near Ree. He smiled at her as he closed the door locking it behind himself. He looked over at Ree and spoke, "You two having fun in here?" He moved over to Andy, standing behind her as he rested a hand on her shoulder.

Mara reached out and grabbed him, pulling him to her. "I heard her words and yours in those last moments. And I hope for your sake it was just to support her instead of thinking of taking advantage of the way she is now" she said with a warning. "Consider this first and only warning. If you want to date her go ahead but do it the right way instead of guilt-tripping her because she can't remember. " she let go. "Love can have many meanings, not all of them is romantic" This time she turned and left, leaving him to go back in. "Well.. don't put your hopes to much on me. We didn't make much memories. Maybe you will remember when you look around the facility ... even so this isn't the main facility, just an offshoot" he said pausing to look at her as if that would jog her memory before continuing, realizing how -very- important being around friends was to her...considering the main times she said it. If it was him... he would likely be trying to sneak out the door right this minute eh hehe. Still it scared him...the complete change due to the erasure of pretty much a lifespan.. it was almost like the death of the self. "If they come they will likely come slowly or not at all ...amnesia is like that. In a way you were lucky that was the only problem. "//or unlucky// he sighed softly. "But yes!.. you can make new memories and ...well not to surprising being lost. I ...well why not stay here for a while. Get used to the room and slowly head on out, unless you want to look around now then I suggest kicking Kage for that" he kept smiling while she laughed, nerves... fear ... laughter can cover many things as well as just be an expression of joy he was actually having a hard time reading which one it might be. " I mean...asking him nicely to show you around or get you some cake. Oh.... Hiiiii Kage " he turned his head to look at Kage and smirked.

"I suppose your right... Though, I guess it'll be okay since I have you guys.. I don't feel so scared anymore.. Had me really worried there for a bit." she audibly sighed to show her relief, as she seemed like she was far more relaxed now. What with Mara out of the room, and Ree confirming their friendship. Even though her confusion stayed, her fear was subsiding. However, she still did have a bit of dread in her stomach, though it somehow didn't feel like it had to do with her situation. She shook the thought and smiled warmly at Ree, "I think I'll stay a while.. Get my bearings again.." She noticed Kylar walk back in and her face brightened up. "Oh! Kylar! You should show me around the place! See if I can remember anything... Besides, it'll be good to walk around and stretch my legs." she suggested with a bit of enthusiasm. Then looked back at Ree, "Shhh.. Don't tell him about the other thing.. That was just between you and me.." she winked and laughed with a small twinge of embarrassment.

Kage wasn't really sure what to do, he had been touching Andy a lot, but that was because he knew it would relax her as it had him to have physical contact with something that anchored you in a broken state. Now that she was recovering though he thought perhaps he was running out of ideas. He had told her he loved her, but he had no idea what that entailed. He was concerned Mara made it sound confusing, was love something complex and different than what he thought? She had wanted to be wanted and that was the first thing that came to mind, love. He hadn't meant anything by it, but he was trying. Love to him was someone that supported you and was there for you, was there more to it than that?
He shifted his eyes down to Andy, she was smiling and it warmed his heart. Mara thought he was doing something wrong, but how could making someone else happy be wrong? He removed his hand from her shoulder and leaned against the edge of the bed aiming to become a part of the conversation without overcrowding the girl. He nodded at her request, "I can show you around later after you have rested some more, we don't want you collapsing in the middle of the the compound." He chuckled as they spoke about her desire for cake as if it was a secret, but deciding to play along he looked to Ree, "What's this, Ree? You're keeping secrets from me?" He playfully pantomimed shock as he teased them, "I expected better."

"Tsk, Tsk. you don't get how the game works" he looked at Kage in fake disappointment. "Hint hint... nudge nudge... cake nudge hint " he said in an almost bland tone imitating Tri before chuckling and shrugging at Andy. "To yummy not to resist" as if that was some type of excuse. All the way there lacked a certain hint of a genuine smile, while he felt happiness in the banter everything else seemed to be much to sad...and he didn't even know what had happen other than assumptions considering the people in the room. Actually where was Tri? he would have been here for sure to keep an eye on the two new um..recruits? unless he was sent out on something else which does happen a lot. "Well my lady... I have tried my best" he motioned to Kage." But I really do need to go and get some rest" //and hunt down what went on and how that girl is...// feeling a twinge of guilt that they took one of the people she knew away... even considering who that person was. "Maybe you too. or perhaps try to get that TV to work "he motioned to an old style TV that was hanging from the wall.

"Ahh~ Why'd you tell him, now he'll know my only weakness. Surely this will be my downfall~" she played along then laughed, throughly enjoying the conversation. She frowned as Kylar said they'd wait until later to see the compound. "Really, I'm fine.. But I guess I'll wait. Maybe later this evening..." she suggested, a smile forming on her face again.
Then Ree announced his leave and she nodded with a smile. "Take care, Ree.. Maybe we can hang out again when you feel better.." The suggestion of the tv had her curious. What kind of events were going on, maybe there was some cool tv shows, or maybe it didn't work at all. Who knew.

Kage chuckled as Andy played along before starting in with a humorous, "Mwahaha. Cake, your one weakness." He gave her a nod as she questioned him with a smile on her face. When she was smiling it was hard to say no to her, even if he didn't want her exploring the facility just in case one of the guards didn't get the memo. At least if they waited everyone in the compound should be aware of her situation and it would reduce the risks. "Yeah, this evening. Right now we need to focus on getting better though.
Kage looked to Ree and gave him a wave, "Later, Ree. I'll come by and check on you later if I can." He stopped to think for a moment and then called out aftrer the Meta that was about to leave. "Ohh, if you see the nurse can you have her bring by some food, I dunno about Andy here but I'm starving." He rubbed his stomach and added, "And if we have it maybe some cake?"
Kage saw Andy looking at the television after Ree had mentioned it. He didn't bother looking for the remote when the simplest way to find out if it still worked was something he could do. He walked over to the set and pressed the power button before returning to Andys side whether it turned on or not.

"Sure.Another day" he chuckled with time with some real amusement as she went toward the TV. Pushing up slowly he frown as one of his wings started to spasm (Heal) before it stopped, luckily while she wasn't looking. He looked at Kage and shrugged turning away to head back to his rooms.... not really up to hunting down Mara or the filre right at this moment. "Ohh, if you see the nurse can you have her bring by some food, I dunno about Andy here but I'm starving. And if we have it maybe some cake?""Ree looked back and stuck his tongue out at him before he left, opening and closing the door. He pass the request to one of the nurses as he passed by and a piece for himself as well.Realizingonly as he was reaching his room that maybe mentioning the TV wasn't such a good idea....Kage would hopefully skip any channel that had the news on right? yeaa it will be fine.

Flipping through the the channels, it was your standard program's, cartoons, reality, drama, documentaries. news. "...wait.." she asked for pause. Taking in the sight on the tv.
/The renegade has struck again, targeting a human hospital, demolishing the whole building, injuring several, no deaths./
She stared at the sight of the fallen hospital as she frowned. "Thats's horrible... A hospital of all places." she shuddered to think what if she had to be in that situation. It was unfortunate. She looked away for a moment with sad eyes before she closed them.
/Zakun Shiori of the Efficacious Eight is said to be responsible for this travesty, more information shall eve released as we get it/
"You can change it..." she spoke softly. The idea of renegades destroying places of healing, She sighed, "How could they do it. Why would they do it?"

Watching the television, Kage saw her flip though the channels. He remained beside her not thinking anything of it when she stopped on the news. He watched the story wondering what kind of story they would be reporting on when it showed the image of a demolished hospital. Hearing Andys comment he nodded, "Yeah, it is. I don't even know why anyone would attack a hospital." The station mentioned a group, the Efficacious Eight. //Wasn't that Andys group?// Kage began to wonder if perhaps they were lashing out because they had lost Andy.
Kage changed the channel as Andy requested putting it on something a little kinder. He shook his head in disappointment as he tried to answer Andy, her question one that even he didn't know the answer to. "I don't know why anyone would do something like that, perhaps they are broken inside."

Andy seemed offput by the television now, as her thoughts hung on the image of the wreckage still burned in her mind. All those people that needed help only to be attacked so maliciously. Broken. "Feeling broken doesn't justify hurting innocent lives. They didn't deserve any of that. Those are people's families, loved ones..." she sighed, it just all felt so tragic to her. "It just doesn't seem fair." she stared off solemnly for a moment, before shaking the idea. If she kept thinking about it, she felt like shed never stop being angry about it.
Andy stood up and walked back over to the bed she had woken up in and sat down. She stated at Kylar for a bit before deciding to talk again. "I still can't remember anything, but at least I remember you..." she smiled softly. "Well... Sort of. Uhm.. So how did we meet?" she asked, just trying to rebuild the memories she had lost. Maybe she would remember something, if not, it was always nice to hear him talk.

"It's not fair, but then again most things in life aren't fair." Kage answered quietly. He didn't really understand it, but Andy seemed to be genuinely upset about the news on the television. He debated getting up and hugging her, but physical contact wasn't the answer to everything. Instead he decided to focus on the positive part of the news report. "At least no one was killed. I'm sure it could have been a lot worse." Instantly he regretted speaking afraid that that he said may have come out wrong.
Kage remained by the chair as Andy returned to the bed. He followed her with his eyes and just smiled as she stared at him. Andy suddenly asking how they met was surprising, he hadn't even thought of that. // S**t, S**t, S**t, I don't have anything... Maybe something close to the truth so it's not much of a lie?// Kage stared back blankly at her before frowning and responding. "I thought you knew since you remembered me. It's a bit embarrassing, but we met through work. He considered his options for a moment and decided a bit of fabrication would be needed to tie the story together. "It was love at first sight, for me at least. You on the other hand were a bit stubborn. You turned me down at first, but little by little I wore you down and you finally let me in. We've been in love since then and it's been the happiest time of our lives, mine at least."

Life wasn't fair, and her current condition was proof of that. She sighed thinking on it, maybe there was a way to make things fair. She shook the idea. It seemed a little crazy to try to turn fate in ones favor like that.
As he explained how they met, she blinked slowly, her face showing a flush of color as she turned away her gaze away in embarrassment for not remembering such an important piece of information. "So we are.." her voice trailed off as it suddenly made sense why he was always so close, within hands reach, so inviting. She had known he loved her, but she couldn't remember that she had loved him back, though it did make perfect sense. "I can't believe I could forget something like that.... I'm so sorry.. " she frowned slightly despite her face still being pretty flustered. "I think... I think I need some fresh air..." she sighed, "but I guess that's not gonna happen since I'm stuck here trying not to be a danger to anyone.." she sighed again. This sucked, not being able to do anything because she might hurt people even though she couldn't even remember what would make her so scary. She paused, then looked to Kylar. " Kylar..please....Take me outside... I want to show you something....."

Kage swept her up in a hug as she apologized for something that was his fault. He tried to comfort her, "It's not your fault, it's a miracle you remember me at all. It just goes to show whatever happened to you nothing could break our bond." Perhaps it was overdoing it a little, but something about Andy made him just want to comfort her. He held her gently as she requested to go outside. He considered it for a moment, Mara wouldn't like it very much, you need your rest and shouldn't be moving around a lot." He grinned as he moved quickly sweeping her into a bridal carry as he lifted her off of the bed. "If I carry you however, then you won't be moving around that much." He dispersed her weight across his arms with his levitation aiding him until she was practically weightless and then began moving towards the door. "Hold on" He chuckled as they stepped out into the hallway.
