Atem too was startled by the bell and jerked a bit, looking around and blinking. His own surprise kept him from noticing how flustered Quartz was, and when she made her offer he blinked at her before he got back on track and remembered that he'd decided he would try playing, even if that playing made him get dirty. He nodded after a moment more of thought. It just meant he'd get a bath, and he didn't mind baths, since the water was fun to play in.
"Yeah, okay!" He said and smiled before he started collecting his things to go file out of the classroom. "Uhm....by the swings maybe?" The swings were fun, come to think of it. The closest he'd ever get to flying. "I'll meet you there and you can teach me your favorite games." He had a friend now. Even if he got messy, his parents would be happy.
