"Well, we're not far from your father right now, right? And you wanted me to meet him anyway. So we could always go visit him and then let the road take us wherever after that? You know me. I've never been one for exactly planning out my actions. I've always been a little bit more adventurous than that," Araie smiled.
She wasn't sure if she really was ready to meet Dezani's father, if she was being perfectly honest. That felt like a weird step in a direction she wasn't quite sure of. But it seemed important to Dezani, and she didn't want to let him down. Besides, she wanted to support his new relationship with his father. She knew how sucky strained relationships with parents could be, and she didn't want that for Dezani. Not after he had gotten so far.

"You don't have to meet him right away, you know. We've got plenty of time. We can try wandering around for a bit, maybe go to Oba or Matori. Some place interesting and new for both of us. If that is acceptable to you. I just enjoy traveling. Raiha does too. We're a traveling bunch," Dezani stated, though he guessed she probably knew that. He was rambling a bit, something he really didn't do often. It was odd and the giddy feeling came back every time he looked at her.
"We could even try to explore things no one else has explored before!"

Araie's whole face lit up at the mention of Matori, a large grin appearing on her face. "Oh, I would love to go to Matori! I've heard so much about it and it sounds so beautiful. It's been one of the places I've wanted to see the most, but I was always afraid to make that journey on my own. If you want to come with me there, I would be in your debt forever." She wasn't sure if she was going to make it in Oba. It seemed far too warm there for her small little Ice self. But then again, she was fairly sure she would be happy going anywhere. She had never liked to stay in one place for very long and she had been in Sauti far too long at this point. It was time to move on and see new things, especially since Dezani was going to be with her.

"Of course I would want to go with you there. It'll be a new experience for both of us. We'll probably have to pick up odd jobs along the way to pay for food and such, but it shouldn't be too hard. With the war over there are sure to be rebuilding efforts everywhere with chances of meals in exchange for our help. Anything is better than nothing." He hoped that the Matori people didn't mind them visiting, but hopefully if they helped out it wouldn't be too bad.
"Any other plans on what we could do?" he questioned, wanting to hear her opinion before they solidified a plan.

Araie shook her head, biting her lip as she tried to think of something else. She really was bad at this whole making plans things. Her brother had been right that her impatient nature was going to make setting any long term plans more difficult than necessary. Oh well.
"Not that I can think of. I would really like to get a chance to look at some of the magic that goes on over there though. Anything to help advance my own magical training. But other that, nope. I've got no plans whatsoever," she finally settled on saying. The idea of helping rebuild as they traveled did appeal to her quite a bit though. She was excited to be able to reverse some of the damage that had been done during the war though. She would do anything to erase the ugly scars that had been left because of it.

"Then I suppose that settles that. Looks like you will be stuck with me for the time being, my dear friend. Are you prepared for that?" he chuckled, pulling her into a gentle hug. He was excited to be starting a new chapter in his life after the war, even if it was an unexpected one. He'd just have to make sure he did his best to keep her out of harms way and provide for them. It both excited him and frightened him that he would partially be responsible for their well being, but that was what being an adult was all about. They were going to go on a grand adventure and help a lot of people one way or another.
